Siehe, ich sende meinen Boten, dass er den Weg bereite vor mir her. Und plötzlich wird zu seinem Tempel kommen der Herr, den ihr sucht; und der Engel des Bundes, den ihr begehrt: Siehe, er kommt, spricht der HERR der Heerscharen.
HE aquí, yo envío mi mensajero, el cual preparará el camino delante de mí: y luego vendrá á su templo el Señor á quien vosotros buscáis, y el ángel del pacto, á quien deseáis vosotros. He aquí viene, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos.
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
“Behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me! The Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to his temple. Behold, the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, is coming!” says the LORD of Armies.
Wer aber kann den Tag seines Kommens ertragen, und wer wird bestehen bei seinem Erscheinen? Denn er wird wie das Feuer des Schmelzers sein und wie die Lauge der Wäscher.
¿Y quién podrá sufrir el tiempo de su venida? ó ¿quién podrá estar cuando él se mostrará? Porque él es como fuego purificador, y como jabón de lavadores.
But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

Und er wird sitzen und das Silber schmelzen und reinigen; und er wird die Kinder Levi reinigen und sie läutern wie das Gold und wie das Silber, so dass sie Opfergaben dem HERRN darbringen werden in Gerechtigkeit.
Y sentarse ha para afinar y limpiar la plata: porque limpiará los hijos de Leví, los afinará como á oro y como á plata; y ofrecerán á Jehová ofrenda con justicia.

Dann wird die Opfergabe Judas und Jerusalems dem HERRN angenehm sein wie in den Tagen von früher und wie in den Jahren der Vorzeit.
Y será suave á Jehová la ofrenda de Judá y de Jerusalem, como en los días pasados, y como en los años antiguos.
Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

Und ich werde euch nahen zum Gericht und werde ein schneller Zeuge sein gegen die Zauberer und gegen die Ehebrecher und gegen die falsch Schwörenden und gegen die, die den Tagelöhner im Lohn, die Witwe und die Waise bedrücken und das Recht des Fremden beugen, und mich nicht fürchten, spricht der HERR der Heerscharen.
Y llegarme he á vosotros á juicio; y seré pronto testigo contra los hechiceros y adúlteros; y contra los que juran mentira, y los que detienen el salario del jornalero, de la viuda, y del huérfano, y los que hacen agravio al extranjero, no teniendo temor de mí, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.
And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

Seit den Tagen eurer Väter seid ihr von meinen Satzungen abgewichen und habt sie nicht bewahrt. Kehrt um zu mir, so will ich zu euch umkehren, spricht der HERR der Heerscharen. Und ihr sprecht: Worin sollen wir umkehren?

Darf ein Mensch Gott berauben, dass ihr mich beraubt? Und ihr sprecht: Worin haben wir dich beraubt? In dem Zehnten und in dem Hebopfer.
¿Robará el hombre á Dios? Pues vosotros me habéis robado. Y dijisteis: ¿En qué te hemos robado? Los diezmos y las primicias.
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

Mit dem Fluch seid ihr verflucht, und doch beraubt ihr mich, ihr, die ganze Nation!
Malditos sois con maldición, porque vosotros, la nación toda, me habéis robado.
Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

Bringt den ganzen Zehnten in das Vorratshaus, damit Speise in meinem Haus sei; und prüft mich doch dadurch, spricht der HERR der Heerscharen, ob ich euch nicht die Fenster des Himmels öffnen und euch Segen ausgießen werde bis zum Übermaß.

Eure Worte sind trotzig gegen mich gewesen, spricht der HERR. Und ihr sprecht: Was haben wir miteinander gegen dich beredet?
Vuestras palabras han prevalecido contra mí, dice Jehová. Y dijisteis: ¿Qué hemos hablado contra ti?
Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?
“Your words have been harsh against me,” says the LORD. “Yet you say, ‘What have we spoken against you?’
Ihr sprecht: Vergeblich ist es, Gott zu dienen, und was für Gewinn, dass wir seiner Hut warteten, und dass wir in Trauer umhergingen vor dem HERRN der Heerscharen?
Habéis dicho: Por demás es servir á Dios; ¿y qué aprovecha que guardemos su ley, y que andemos tristes delante de Jehová de los ejércitos?
Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
You have said, ‘It is vain to serve God,’ and ‘What profit is it that we have followed his instructions and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of Armies?
Und so preisen wir nun die Übermütigen glücklich: Nicht nur sind die Täter der Gottlosigkeit aufgebaut worden, sondern sie haben auch Gott versucht und sind entronnen.
Decimos pues ahora, que bienaventurados los soberbios, y también que los que hacen impiedad son los prosperados: bien que tentaron á Dios, escaparon.
And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.

Da unterredeten sich miteinander die den HERRN fürchten, und der HERR merkte auf und hörte; und ein Gedenkbuch wurde vor ihm geschrieben für die, die den HERRN fürchten und die seinen Namen achten.
Entonces los que temen á Jehová hablaron cada uno á su compañero; y Jehová escuchó y oyó, y fué escrito libro de memoria delante de él para los que temen á Jehová, y para los que piensan en su nombre.
Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
Then those who feared the LORD spoke one with another; and the LORD listened and heard, and a book of memory was written before him for those who feared the LORD and who honored his name.
Und sie werden mir, spricht der HERR der Heerscharen, zum Eigentum sein an dem Tag, den ich machen werde; und ich werde ihrer schonen, wie ein Mann seinen Sohn verschont, der ihm dient.
Y serán para mí especial tesoro, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, en el día que yo tengo de hacer: y perdonarélos como el hombre que perdona á su hijo que le sirve.
And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
They shall be mine,” says the LORD of Armies, “my own possession in the day that I make. I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.
Und ihr werdet wiederum den Unterschied sehen zwischen dem Gerechten und dem Gottlosen, zwischen dem, der Gott dient, und dem, der ihm nicht dient.
Entonces os tornaréis, y echaréis de ver la diferencia entre el justo y el malo, entre el que sirve á Dios y el que no le sirve.
Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

Denn siehe, der Tag kommt, brennend wie ein Ofen; und es werden alle Übermütigen und jeder Täter der Gottlosigkeit zu Stoppeln werden; und der kommende Tag wird sie verbrennen, spricht der HERR der Heerscharen, so dass er ihnen weder Wurzel noch Zweig lassen wird.

Aber euch, die ihr meinen Namen fürchtet, wird die Sonne der Gerechtigkeit aufgehen mit Heilung in ihren Flügeln. Und ihr werdet ausziehen und hüpfen gleich Mastkälbern;

und ihr werdet die Gottlosen zertreten, denn sie werden Asche sein unter euren Fußsohlen an dem Tag, den ich machen werde, spricht der HERR der Heerscharen.

Gedenkt des Gesetzes Moses, meines Knechtes, das ich ihm auf Horeb an ganz Israel geboten habe – Satzungen und Rechte.

Siehe, ich sende euch Elia, den Propheten, ehe der Tag des HERRN kommt, der große und furchtbare.

Und er wird das Herz der Väter zu den Kindern und das Herz der Kinder zu ihren Vätern wenden, damit ich nicht komme und das Land mit dem Bann schlage.
