"Vede! Estou para enviar Meu Mensageiro, e Ele preparará o caminho antes de Mim. E o Senhor, a Quem buscais, virá de repente para o Seu templo. O Mensageiro da Aliança, em Quem vos deleitais, virá", diz Yahweh dos Exércitos.
HE aquí, yo envío mi mensajero, el cual preparará el camino delante de mí: y luego vendrá á su templo el Señor á quien vosotros buscáis, y el ángel del pacto, á quien deseáis vosotros. He aquí viene, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos.
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
“Behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me! The Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to his temple. Behold, the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, is coming!” says the LORD of Armies.
Mas quem suportará o dia da Sua vinda? E quem poderá ficar de pé quando Ele aparecer? Porque Ele é como um fogo purificador, e como o sabão que branqueia completamente.
¿Y quién podrá sufrir el tiempo de su venida? ó ¿quién podrá estar cuando él se mostrará? Porque él es como fuego purificador, y como jabón de lavadores.
But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

Ele sentará para julgar como um purificador da prata, e purificará os filhos de Levi. Ele os refinará como o ouro e a prata, e eles trarão as ofertas de justiça para Yahweh.
Y sentarse ha para afinar y limpiar la plata: porque limpiará los hijos de Leví, los afinará como á oro y como á plata; y ofrecerán á Jehová ofrenda con justicia.
And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

Então, as ofertas de Judá e Jerusalém serão agradáveis a Yahweh, como nos dias antigos e como nos anos da antiguidade.
Y será suave á Jehová la ofrenda de Judá y de Jerusalem, como en los días pasados, y como en los años antiguos.
Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

"Portanto, Eu Me aproximarei de vós para o julgamento. Rapidamente testemunharei contra os feiticeiros, os adúlteros, as falsas testemunhas e contras aqueles que oprimem os trabalhadores em seus salários, contra aqueles que oprimem a viúva e os órfãos, contra aqueles que não amparam os estrangeiros, e contra aqueles que não Me honram," diz Yahweh dos Exércitos.
Y llegarme he á vosotros á juicio; y seré pronto testigo contra los hechiceros y adúlteros; y contra los que juran mentira, y los que detienen el salario del jornalero, de la viuda, y del huérfano, y los que hacen agravio al extranjero, no teniendo temor de mí, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.
And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

Desde os dias de vossos pais, deixastes de lado Meus preceitos e não os guardastes. Voltai-vos para Mim, e Eu Me voltarei a vós", diz Yahweh dos Exércitos. "Mas vós dizeis: 'Como voltaremos?'

Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

Roubará o homem a Deus? Mas vós estais Me roubando. Ainda dizeis: 'Como Te roubamos?' Nos dízimos e ofertas.
¿Robará el hombre á Dios? Pues vosotros me habéis robado. Y dijisteis: ¿En qué te hemos robado? Los diezmos y las primicias.
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

Vós, toda a nação, estais amaldiçoados porque Me roubais.
Malditos sois con maldición, porque vosotros, la nación toda, me habéis robado.
Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

Trazei todo o dízimo à casa do tesouro, para que haja comida na Minha casa. E provai-Me agora nisto", diz Yahweh dos Exércitos, "se Eu não vos abrir as janelas do céus e derramar, de modo abundante, bênçãos sobre vós.

"Vossas palavras contra Mim foram duras", diz Yahweh. "Mas vós dizeis: 'O que falamos contra Ti?'
Vuestras palabras han prevalecido contra mí, dice Jehová. Y dijisteis: ¿Qué hemos hablado contra ti?
Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?
“Your words have been harsh against me,” says the LORD. “Yet you say, ‘What have we spoken against you?’
Vós tendes dito: 'É inútil servir a Deus. Que proveito há em guardarmos Seus mandamentos ou lamentarmos diante de Yahweh dos Exércitos?'
Habéis dicho: Por demás es servir á Dios; ¿y qué aprovecha que guardemos su ley, y que andemos tristes delante de Jehová de los ejércitos?
Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
You have said, ‘It is vain to serve God,’ and ‘What profit is it that we have followed his instructions and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of Armies?
E, agora, nós chamamos o arrogante de abençoado. Malfeitores não somente prosperam, como também tentam a Deus e escapam.
Decimos pues ahora, que bienaventurados los soberbios, y también que los que hacen impiedad son los prosperados: bien que tentaron á Dios, escaparon.
And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.

Então, aqueles que temiam a Yahweh falaram uns com os outros. Yahweh prestou atenção e os ouviu, e um livro memorial foi escrito, diante Dele, sobre aqueles que temiam a Yahweh e honravam Seu Nome.
Entonces los que temen á Jehová hablaron cada uno á su compañero; y Jehová escuchó y oyó, y fué escrito libro de memoria delante de él para los que temen á Jehová, y para los que piensan en su nombre.
Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

"Eles serão Meus", diz Yahweh dos Exércitos, "Minha propriedade exclusiva, no dia em que Eu agir. Eu terei compaixão deles, como um homem que tem compaixão de seu próprio filho, que o serve.
Y serán para mí especial tesoro, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, en el día que yo tengo de hacer: y perdonarélos como el hombre que perdona á su hijo que le sirve.
And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
They shall be mine,” says the LORD of Armies, “my own possession in the day that I make. I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.
Então, mais uma vez, ficará evidente a vós quem é o justo e quem é o mau, quem adora a Deus e quem não O adora.
Entonces os tornaréis, y echaréis de ver la diferencia entre el justo y el malo, entre el que sirve á Dios y el que no le sirve.
Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
