“Porque miren, ya viene el día, ardiente como un horno, en que todos los orgullosos y todos los que hacen el mal serán como paja. El día que viene los quemará”, dice el Señor de los Ejércitos, “y no les dejará ni raíz ni rama.
PORQUE he aquí, viene el día ardiente como un horno; y todos los soberbios, y todos los que hacen maldad, serán estopa; y aquel día que vendrá, los abrasará, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, el cual no les dejará ni raíz ni rama.
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
“For behold, the day comes, burning like a furnace, when all the proud and all who work wickedness will be stubble. The day that comes will burn them up,” says the LORD of Armies, “so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.
Pero para ustedes, los que temen mi nombre, nacerá el sol de justicia trayendo sanidad en sus alas. Y ustedes saldrán y saltarán de alegría como becerros que salen del establo.
Mas á vosotros los que teméis mi nombre, nacerá el Sol de justicia, y en sus alas traerá salud: y saldréis, y saltaréis como becerros de la manada.
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall.
Aplastarán a los malvados, porque serán como ceniza bajo la planta de sus pies en el día en que yo actúe”, dice el Señor de los Ejércitos.
Y hollaréis á los malos, los cuales serán ceniza bajo las plantas de vuestros pies, en el día que yo hago, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos.
And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

“Acuérdense de la ley de mi siervo Moisés, de los estatutos y las normas que le ordené en el monte Horeb para todo Israel.
Acordaos de la ley de Moisés mi siervo, al cual encargué en Horeb ordenanzas y leyes para todo Israel.
Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
“Remember the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances.
Miren, yo les envío al profeta Elías antes de que llegue el día grande y terrible de Yahvé.
He aquí, yo os envío á Elías el profeta, antes que venga el día de Jehová grande y terrible.
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

Él hará que el corazón de los padres se vuelva hacia los hijos, y el corazón de los hijos hacia sus padres, para que yo no venga y castigue la tierra con una maldición”.
El convertirá el corazón de los padres á los hijos, y el corazón de los hijos á los padres: no sea que yo venga, y con destrucción hiera la tierra.
And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
