Gehet aber und prediget und sprecht: Das Himmelreich ist nahe herbeikommen.

ENTONCES llamando á sus doce discípulos, les dió potestad contra los espíritus inmundos, para que los echasen fuera, y sanasen toda enfermedad y toda dolencia.

And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

Machet die Kranken gesund, reiniget die Aussätzigen, wecket die Toten auf, treibet die Teufel aus! Umsonst habt ihr's empfangen, umsonst gebet es auch.

Ihr sollt nicht Gold noch Silber noch Erz in euren Gürteln haben,

auch keine Tasche zur Wegfahrt, auch nicht zwei Röcke, keine Schuhe, auch keinen Stecken. Denn ein Arbeiter ist seiner Speise wert.

Wo ihr aber in eine Stadt oder Markt gehet, da erkundiget euch, ob jemand darinnen sei, der es wert ist; und bei demselben bleibet, bis ihr von dannen ziehet.

A estos doce envió Jesús, á los cuales dió mandamiento, diciendo: Por el camino de los Gentiles no iréis, y en ciudad de Samaritanos no entréis;

These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

Wo ihr aber in ein Haus gehet, so grüßet dasselbige.

Mas id antes á las ovejas perdidas de la casa de Israel.

But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Und so es dasselbige Haus wert ist, wird euer Friede auf sie kommen. Ist es aber nicht wert, so wird sich euer Friede wieder zu euch wenden.

Y yendo, predicad, diciendo: El reino de los cielos se ha acercado.

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

As you go, preach, saying, ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!’

Und wo euch jemand nicht annehmen wird noch eure Rede hören, so gehet heraus von demselbigen Hause oder Stadt und schüttelt den Staub von euren Füßen.

Sanad enfermos, limpiad leprosos, resucitad muertos, echad fuera demonios: de gracia recibisteis, dad de gracia.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Wahrlich, ich sage euch, dem Lande der Sodomer und Gomorrer wird es erträglicher ergehen am Jüngsten Gericht denn solcher Stadt.

No aprestéis oro, ni plata, ni cobre en vuestras bolsas;

Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,

Don’t take any gold, silver, or brass in your money belts.

Siehe, ich sende euch wie Schafe mitten unter die Wölfe; darum seid klug wie die Schlangen und ohne Falsch wie die Tauben!

Ni alforja para el camino, ni dos ropas de vestir, ni zapatos, ni bordón; porque el obrero digno es de su alimento.

Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.

Take no bag for your journey, neither two coats, nor sandals, nor staff: for the laborer is worthy of his food.

Hütet euch aber vor den Menschen! Denn sie werden euch überantworten vor ihre Rathäuser und werden euch geißeln in ihren Schulen.

Mas en cualquier ciudad, ó aldea donde entrareis, investigad quién sea en ella digno, y reposad allí hasta que salgáis.

And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.

Into whatever city or village you enter, find out who in it is worthy, and stay there until you go on.

Und man wird euch vor Fürsten und Könige führen um meinetwillen zum Zeugnis über sie und über die Heiden.

Y entrando en la casa, saludadla.

And when ye come into an house, salute it.

As you enter into the household, greet it.

Wenn sie euch nun überantworten werden, so sorget nicht, wie oder was ihr reden sollt; denn es soll euch zu der Stunde gegeben werden, was ihr reden sollt.

Y si la casa fuere digna, vuestra paz vendrá sobre ella; mas si no fuere digna, vuestra paz se volverá á vosotros.

And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

If the household is worthy, let your peace come on it, but if it isn’t worthy, let your peace return to you.

Denn ihr seid es nicht, die da reden, sondern eures Vaters Geist ist es, der durch euch redet.

Y cualquiera que no os recibiere, ni oyere vuestras palabras, salid de aquella casa ó ciudad, y sacudid el polvo de vuestros pies.

And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

Whoever doesn’t receive you or hear your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet.

Es wird aber ein Bruder den andern zum Tod überantworten und der Vater den Sohn, und die Kinder werden sich empören wider ihre Eltern und ihnen zum Tode helfen.

De cierto os digo, que el castigo será más tolerable á la tierra de los de Sodoma y de los de Gomorra en el día del juicio, que á aquella ciudad.

Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Most certainly I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.

Und müsset gehasset werden von jedermann um meines Namens willen. Wer aber bis an das Ende beharret, der wird selig.

He aquí, yo os envío como á ovejas en medio de lobos: sed pues prudentes como serpientes, y sencillos como palomas.

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

“Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

Wenn sie euch aber in einer Stadt verfolgen, so fliehet in eine andere. Wahrlich, ich sage euch, ihr werdet die Städte Israels nicht ausrichten, bis des Menschen Sohn kommt.

Y guardaos de los hombres: porque os entregarán en concilios, y en sus sinagogas os azotarán;

But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;

But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils, and in their synagogues they will scourge you.

Der Jünger ist nicht über seinen Meister noch der Knecht über den HERRN.

Y aun á príncipes y á reyes seréis llevados por causa de mí, por testimonio á ellos y á los Gentiles.

And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.

Yes, and you will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations.

Es ist dem Jünger genug, daß er sei wie sein Meister und der Knecht wie sein HERR. Haben sie den Hausvater Beelzebub geheißen, wieviel mehr werden sie seine Hausgenossen also heißen!

Mas cuando os entregaren, no os apuréis por cómo ó qué hablaréis; porque en aquella hora os será dado qué habéis de hablar.

But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

But when they deliver you up, don’t be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say.

Darum fürchtet euch nicht vor ihnen! Es ist nichts verborgen, das nicht offenbar werde, und ist nichts heimlich, das man nicht wissen werde.

Porque no sois vosotros los que habláis, sino el Espíritu de vuestro Padre que habla en vosotros.

For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

Was ich euch sage in Finsternis, das redet im Licht, und was ihr höret in das Ohr, das prediget auf den Dächern.

Y el hermano entregará al hermano á la muerte, y el padre al hijo; y los hijos se levantarán contra los padres, y los harán morir.

And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.

“Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. Children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.

Und fürchtet euch nicht vor denen, die den Leib töten und die Seele nicht mögen töten. Fürchtet euch aber vielmehr vor dem, der Leib und Seele verderben mag in die Hölle.

Y seréis aborrecidos de todos por mi nombre; mas el que soportare hasta el fin, éste será salvo.

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

You will be hated by all men for my name’s sake, but he who endures to the end will be saved.

Kauft man nicht zwei Sperlinge um einen Pfennig? Noch fällt derselbigen keiner auf die Erde ohne euren Vater.

Mas cuando os persiguieren en esta ciudad, huid á la otra: porque de cierto os digo, que no acabaréis de andar todas las ciudades de Israel, que no venga el Hijo del hombre.

But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the next, for most certainly I tell you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man has come.

Nun aber sind auch eure Haare auf dem Haupt alle gezählet.

El discípulo no es más que su maestro, ni el siervo más que su señor.

The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.

“A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his lord.

Darum fürchtet euch nicht; ihr seid besser denn viele Sperlinge.

Bástale al discípulo ser como su maestro, y al siervo como su señor. Si al padre de la familia llamaron Beelzebub, ¿cuánto más á los de su casa?

It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

It is enough for the disciple that he be like his teacher, and the servant like his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more those of his household!

Darum, wer mich bekennet vor den Menschen, den will ich bekennen vor meinem himmlischen Vater.

Así que, no los temáis; porque nada hay encubierto, que no haya de ser manifestado; ni oculto, que no haya de saberse.

Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

Therefore don’t be afraid of them, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.

Wer mich aber verleugnet vor den Menschen, den will ich auch verleugnen vor meinem himmlischen Vater.

Lo que os digo en tinieblas, decidlo en la luz; y lo que oís al oído predicadlo desde los terrados.

What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.

Ihr sollt nicht wähnen, daß ich kommen sei, Frieden zu senden auf Erden. Ich bin nicht kommen, Frieden zu senden, sondern das Schwert.

Y no temáis á los que matan el cuerpo, mas al alma no pueden matar: temed antes á aquel que puede destruir el alma y el cuerpo en el infierno.

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.

Denn ich bin kommen, den Menschen zu erregen wider seinen Vater und die Tochter wider ihre Mutter und die Schnur wider ihre Schwieger.

¿No se venden dos pajarillos por un cuarto? Con todo, ni uno de ellos cae á tierra sin vuestro Padre.

Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

“Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.

Und des Menschen Feinde werden seine eigenen Hausgenossen sein.

Pues aun vuestros cabellos están todos contados.

But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Wer Vater oder Mutter mehr liebet denn mich, der ist mein nicht wert; und wer Sohn oder Tochter mehr liebt denn mich, der ist mein nicht wert.

Así que, no temáis: más valéis vosotros que muchos pajarillos.

Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.

Und wer nicht sein Kreuz auf sich nimmt und folget mir nach, der ist mein nicht wert.

Cualquiera pues, que me confesare delante de los hombres, le confesaré yo también delante de mi Padre que está en los cielos.

Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

Everyone therefore who confesses me before men, I will also confess him before my Father who is in heaven.

Wer 'sein Leben findet, der wird's verlieren; und wer sein Leben verlieret um meinetwillen, der wird's finden.

Y cualquiera que me negare delante de los hombres, le negaré yo también delante de mi Padre que está en los cielos.

But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

But whoever denies me before men, I will also deny him before my Father who is in heaven.

Wer euch aufnimmt, der nimmt mich auf; und wer mich aufnimmt, der nimmt den auf, der mich gesandt hat.

No penséis que he venido para meter paz en la tierra: no he venido para meter paz, sino espada.

Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

“Don’t think that I came to send peace on the earth. I didn’t come to send peace, but a sword.

Wer einen Propheten aufnimmt in eines Propheten Namen, der wird eines Propheten Lohn empfahen. Wer einen Gerechten aufnimmt in eines Gerechten Namen, der wird eines Gerechten Lohn empfahen.

Porque he venido para hacer disensión del hombre contra su padre, y de la hija contra su madre, y de la nuera contra su suegra.

For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

For I came to set a man at odds against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.

Und wer dieser Geringsten einen nur mit einem Becher kalten Wassers tränket in eines Jüngers Namen, wahrlich, ich sage euch, es wird ihm nicht unbelohnet bleiben!

Y los enemigos del hombre serán los de su casa.

And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

A man’s foes will be those of his own household.

Und es begab sich, da Jesus solch Gebot zu seinen zwölf Jüngern vollendet hatte, ging er von dannen fürbaß, zu lehren und zu predigen in ihren Städten.

El que ama padre ó madre más que á mí, no es digno de mí; y el que ama hijo ó hija más que á mí, no es digno de mí.

He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn’t worthy of me.

Da aber Johannes im Gefängnis die Werke Christi hörete, sandte er seiner Jünger zwei.

Y el que no toma su cruz, y sigue en pos de mí, no es digno de mí.

And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me.

und ließ ihm sagen: Bist du, der da kommen soll, oder sollen wir eines andern warten?

El que hallare su vida, la perderá; y el que perdiere su vida por causa de mí, la hallará.

He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.

Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Gehet hin und saget Johannes wieder, was ihr sehet und höret:

El que os recibe á vosotros, á mí recibe; y el que á mí recibe, recibe al que me envió.

He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

“He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives him who sent me.

Die Blinden sehen, und die Lahmen gehen; die Aussätzigen werden rein, und die Tauben hören; die Toten stehen auf, und den Armen wird das Evangelium geprediget;

El que recibe profeta en nombre de profeta, merced de profeta recibirá; y el que recibe justo en nombre de justo, merced de justo recibirá.

He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.

He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. He who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man will receive a righteous man’s reward.

und selig ist, der sich nicht an mir ärgert.

Y cualquiera que diere á uno de estos pequeñitos un vaso de agua fría solamente, en nombre de discípulo, de cierto os digo, que no perderá su recompensa.

And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

Whoever gives one of these little ones just a cup of cold water to drink in the name of a disciple, most certainly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward.”
