Nehmt (tragt, hebt) mein Joch auf euch selbst und lernt von mir, denn ich bin sanftmütig (freundlich, milde) und von Herzen (demütig, niedrig, bescheiden) und ihr werdet bekommen (finden, entdecken) Ruhe (Erquickung, das Aufhören) für eure Seele.

Llevad mi yugo sobre vosotros, y aprended de mí, que soy manso y humilde de corazón; y hallaréis descanso para vuestras almas.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls.
