Ein zerknicktes Rohr wird Er nicht zerbrechen, und den glimmenden Docht wird Er nicht auslöschen, bis daß Er hervorbringet zum Siege das Gericht.

La caña cascada no quebrará, y el pábilo que humea no apagará, hasta que saque á victoria el juicio.

A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

He won’t break a bruised reed. He won’t quench a smoking flax, until he leads justice to victory.
