22Las semillas que fueron sembradas entre los espinos son las personas que escuchan el mensaje, pero luego las preocupaciones de la vida y la tentación por el dinero ahogan el mensaje y éste no produce fruto.

22Y el que fué sembrado en espinas, éste es el que oye la palabra; pero el afán de este siglo y el engaño de las riquezas, ahogan la palabra, y hácese infructuosa.

22He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

22What was sown among the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of this age and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
