An demselben Tage ging Jesus hinaus aus dem Hause und setzte Sich ans Meer.

Y AQUEL día, saliendo Jesús de casa, se sentó junto á la mar.

The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.

On that day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the seaside.

Und es sammelte sich viel Gedränge zu Ihm, so daß Er in ein Schiff einstieg, Sich niederzusetzen; und all das Gedränge stand am Ufer.

Y se allegaron á él muchas gentes; y entrándose él en el barco, se sentó, y toda la gente estaba á la ribera.

And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

Great multitudes gathered to him, so that he entered into a boat and sat; and all the multitude stood on the beach.

Und Er redete vieles zu ihnen in Gleichnissen und sprach: Siehe, es ging der Sämann aus zu säen.

Y les habló muchas cosas por parábolas, diciendo: He aquí el que sembraba salió á sembrar.

And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

He spoke to them many things in parables, saying, “Behold, a farmer went out to sow.

Und indem er säte, fiel einiges an den Weg; und es kam das Gevögel und fraß es auf.

Y sembrando, parte de la simiente cayó junto al camino; y vinieron las aves, y la comieron.

And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

As he sowed, some seeds fell by the roadside, and the birds came and devoured them.

Anderes aber fiel auf das Steinigte, wo es nicht viel Erde hatte, und ging alsbald auf, weil es nicht tiefe Erde hatte.

Y parte cayó en pedregales, donde no tenía mucha tierra; y nació luego, porque no tenía profundidad de tierra:

Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

Others fell on rocky ground, where they didn’t have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, because they had no depth of earth.

Als aber die Sonne aufging, ward es versengt; und weil es nicht Wurzel hatte, verdorrte es.

Mas en saliendo el sol, se quemó; y secóse, porque no tenía raíz.

And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

When the sun had risen, they were scorched. Because they had no root, they withered away.

Anderes aber fiel auf die Dornen, und die Dornen stiegen auf und erstickten es.

Y parte cayó en espinas; y las espinas crecieron, y la ahogaron.

And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

Others fell among thorns. The thorns grew up and choked them.

Anderes aber fiel auf gutes Land und gab Frucht: einiges hundertfältig, einiges sechzigfältig, einiges aber dreißigfäl- tig.

Y parte cayó en buena tierra, y dió fruto, cuál á ciento, cuál á sesenta, y cuál á treinta.

But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

Others fell on good soil and yielded fruit: some one hundred times as much, some sixty, and some thirty.

Wer Ohren hat zu hören, der höre.

Quien tiene oídos para oir, oiga.

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

Und es kamen die Jünger herzu und sprachen zu Ihm: Warum redest Du zu ihnen in Gleichnissen?

Entonces, llegándose los discípulos, le dijeron: ¿Por qué les hablas por parábolas?

And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

The disciples came, and said to him, “Why do you speak to them in parables?”

Er aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Euch ist gegeben, die Geheimnisse des Reiches der Himmel zu erkennen, jenen aber ist es nicht gegeben.

Y él respondiendo, les dijo: Por que á vosotros es concedido saber los misterios del reino de los cielos; mas á ellos no es concedido.

He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

He answered them, “To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them.

Denn wer da hat, dem wird gegeben, daß er Überfluß habe; wer aber nicht hat, von dem wird auch, das er hat, genommen werden.

Porque á cualquiera que tiene, se le dará, y tendrá más; pero al que no tiene, aun lo que tiene le será quitado.

For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever doesn’t have, from him will be taken away even that which he has.

Darum rede Ich in Gleichnissen zu ihnen; denn sehend sehen sie nicht, und hörend hören sie nicht, noch verstehen sie.

Por eso les hablo por parábolas; porque viendo no ven, y oyendo no oyen, ni entienden.

Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they don’t see, and hearing, they don’t hear, neither do they understand.

Und an ihnen wird die Weissagung des Propheten Jesajas erfüllt, die sagt: Hörend werdet ihr hören und nicht verstehen, und sehend werdet ihr sehen und nicht vernehmen.

De manera que se cumple en ellos la profecía de Isaías, que dice: De oído oiréis, y no entenderéis; y viendo veréis, y no miraréis.

And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says, ‘By hearing you will hear, and will in no way understand; Seeing you will see, and will in no way perceive;

Denn das Herz dieses Volkes ist verstockt, und mit ihren Ohren hören sie schwer, und sie drücken die Augen zu, damit sie nicht sehen mit den Augen und hören mit den Ohren und mit dem Herzen verstehen und umkehren und Ich sie gesund mache.

Porque el corazón de este pueblo está engrosado, y de los oídos oyen pesadamente, y de sus ojos guiñan: para que no vean de los ojos, y oigan de los oídos, y del corazón entiendan, y se conviertan, y yo los sane.

For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

for this people’s heart has grown callous, their ears are dull of hearing, and they have closed their eyes; or else perhaps they might perceive with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and would turn again, and I would heal them.’

Selig aber sind eure Augen, daß sie sehen, und eure Ohren, daß sie hören;

Mas bienaventurados vuestros ojos, porque ven; y vuestros oídos, porque oyen.

But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

“But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.

Denn wahrlich, Ich sage euch, daß viele Propheten und Gerechte haben begehrt zu sehen, was ihr seht, und haben es nicht gesehen, und zu hören, was ihr hört, und haben es nicht gehört.

Porque de cierto os digo, que muchos profetas y justos desearon ver lo que veis, y no lo vieron: y oir lo que oís, y no lo oyeron.

For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

For most certainly I tell you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which you see, and didn’t see them; and to hear the things which you hear, and didn’t hear them.

So hört ihr denn das Gleichnis von dem Sämann!

Oid, pues, vosotros la parábola del que siembra:

Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

“Hear, then, the parable of the farmer.

Wenn jemand das Wort von dem Reiche hört und nicht versteht, so kommt der Arge und erhascht, was in seinem Herzen gesät ist. Dieser ist es, der an dem Wege gesät ist.

Oyendo cualquiera la palabra del reino, y no entendiéndola, viene el malo, y arrebata lo que fué sembrado en su corazón: éste es el que fué sembrado junto al camino.

When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

When anyone hears the word of the Kingdom and doesn’t understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away that which has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown by the roadside.

Der aber, der auf das Steinigte gesät worden, ist der, welcher das Wort hört, und es alsbald mit Freuden aufnimmt.

Y el que fué sembrado en pedregales, éste es el que oye la palabra, y luego la recibe con gozo.

But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;

What was sown on the rocky places, this is he who hears the word and immediately with joy receives it;

Aber er hat keine Wurzel in sich, sondern ist zeitweilig; so aber Trübsal oder Verfolgung geschieht um des Wortes willen, so ärgert er sich alsbald.

Mas no tiene raíz en sí, antes es temporal: que venida la aflicción ó la persecución por la palabra, luego se ofende.

Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.

Der aber, der in die Dornen gesät worden, ist der, welcher das Wort hört; und die Sorge dieses Zeitlaufs, und der Betrug des Reichtums erstickt das Wort, und es wird unfruchtbar.

Y el que fué sembrado en espinas, éste es el que oye la palabra; pero el afán de este siglo y el engaño de las riquezas, ahogan la palabra, y hácese infructuosa.

He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

What was sown among the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of this age and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

Der aber auf das gute Land gesät ist, ist der, so das Wort hört und versteht, und der dann Frucht trägt; und der eine bringt hundertfältig, der andere aber sechzigfältig, der andere aber dreißigfältig.

Mas el que fué sembrado en buena tierra, éste es el que oye y entiende la palabra, y el que lleva fruto: y lleva uno á ciento, y otro á sesenta, y otro á treinta.

But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

What was sown on the good ground, this is he who hears the word and understands it, who most certainly bears fruit and produces, some one hundred times as much, some sixty, and some thirty.”

Er legte ihnen ein anderes Gleichnis vor und sprach: Das Reich der Himmel gleicht einem Menschen der guten Samen in sein Feld säte.

Otra parábola les propuso, diciendo: El reino de los cielos es semejante al hombre que siembra buena simiente en su campo:

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

He set another parable before them, saying, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field,

Während aber die Menschen schlummerten, kam sein Feind und säte Unkraut mitten unter den Weizen und ging hin.

Mas durmiendo los hombres, vino su enemigo, y sembró cizaña entre el trigo, y se fué.

But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

but while people slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel weeds also among the wheat, and went away.

Als aber die Saat hervorsproßte und Frucht brachte, da erschien auch das Unkraut.

Y como la hierba salió é hizo fruto, entonces apareció también la cizaña.

But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

But when the blade sprang up and produced grain, then the darnel weeds appeared also.

Die Knechte aber des Hausherrn kamen herzu und sprachen zu ihm: Herr, hast du nicht guten Samen in dein Feld gesät? Woher hat er nun das Unkraut?

Y llegándose los siervos del padre de la familia, le dijeron: Señor, ¿no sembraste buena simiente en tu campo? ¿de dónde, pues, tiene cizaña?

So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

The servants of the householder came and said to him, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where did these darnel weeds come from?’

Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Ein feindseliger Mensch hat das getan. Die Knechte aber sprachen zu ihm: Willst du nun, daß wir hingehen und es zusammenlesen?

Y él les dijo: Un hombre enemigo ha hecho esto. Y los siervos le dijeron: ¿Quieres, pues, que vayamos y la cojamos?

He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

“He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ “The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and gather them up?’

Er aber sprach: Nein, auf daß ihr nicht, wenn ihr das Unkraut zusammenleset, zugleich damit den Weizen ausreutet.

Y él dijo: No; porque cogiendo la cizaña, no arranquéis también con ella el trigo.

But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

“But he said, ‘No, lest perhaps while you gather up the darnel weeds, you root up the wheat with them.

Lasset beide zusammen wachsen bis zur Ernte, und zur Zeit der Ernte will ich den Schnittern sagen: Leset erst das Unkraut zusammen und bindet es in Bündel, um es zu verbrennen; den Weizen aber sammelt in meine Scheune.

Dejad crecer juntamente lo uno y lo otro hasta la siega; y al tiempo de la siega yo diré á los segadores: Coged primero la cizaña, y atadla en manojos para quemarla; mas recoged el trigo en mi alfolí.

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the harvest time I will tell the reapers, “First, gather up the darnel weeds, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”

Ein anderes Gleichnis legte Er ihnen vor und sagte: Das Reich der Himmel ist gleich einem Senfkorn, das ein Mensch nahm und auf sein Feld säte;

Otra parábola les propuso, diciendo: El reino de los cielos es semejante al grano de mostaza, que tomándolo alguno lo sembró en su campo:

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:

He set another parable before them, saying, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took, and sowed in his field,

Welches zwar kleiner ist als alle Samen, wenn es aber erwächst, ist es das größte unter den Gartenkräutern, und wird ein Baum, so daß das Gevögel des Himmels kommt und in seinen Zweigen nistet.

El cual á la verdad es la más pequeña de todas las simientes; mas cuando ha crecido, es la mayor de las hortalizas, y se hace árbol, que vienen las aves del cielo y hacen nidos en sus ramas.

Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

which indeed is smaller than all seeds. But when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches.”

Ein anderes Gleichnis redete Er zu ihnen: Das Reich der Himmel ist gleich einem Sauerteig, den ein Weib nahm und in drei Maß Mehl barg, bis daß es ganz durchsäuert war.

Otra parábola les dijo: El reino de los cielos es semejante á la levadura que tomó una mujer, y escondió en tres medidas de harina, hasta que todo quedó leudo.

Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

He spoke another parable to them. “The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, until it was all leavened.”

Dieses alles redete Jesus in Gleichnisse zu dem Volk, und ohne Gleichnis redete Er nicht zu ihnen.

Todo esto habló Jesús por parábolas á las gentes, y sin parábolas no les hablaba:

All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:

Jesus spoke all these things in parables to the multitudes; and without a parable, he didn’t speak to them,

Damit erfüllt würde, was durch den Propheten gesagt ist, der da spricht: Ich will Meinen Mund auftun in Gleichnissen. Ich will aussprechen, was seit Gründung der Welt verborgen war.

Para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por el profeta, que dijo: Abriré en parábolas mi boca; rebosaré cosas escondidas desde la fundación del mundo.

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying, “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world.”

Da entließ Jesus das Volk und kam in das Haus, und Seine Jünger kamen zu Ihm und sprachen: Deute uns das Gleichnis von dem Unkraut des Feldes.

Entonces, despedidas las gentes, Jesús se vino á casa; y llegándose á él sus discípulos, le dijeron: Decláranos la parábola de la cizaña del campo.

Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

Then Jesus sent the multitudes away, and went into the house. His disciples came to him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the darnel weeds of the field.”

Er aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Der den guten Samen sät, ist des Menschen Sohn.

Y respondiendo él, les dijo: El que siembra la buena simiente es el Hijo del hombre;

He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

He answered them, “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man,

Das Feld ist die Welt. Der gute Same, das sind die Söhne des Reiches; das Unkraut aber sind die Söhne des Argen.

Y el campo es el mundo; y la buena simiente son los hijos del reino, y la cizaña son los hijos del malo;

The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

the field is the world, the good seeds are the children of the Kingdom, and the darnel weeds are the children of the evil one.

Der Feind aber, der es säte, ist der Teufel. Die Ernte aber ist die Vollendung des Zeitlaufs; die Schnitter aber sind die Engel.

Y el enemigo que la sembró, es el diablo; y la siega es el fin del mundo, y los segadores son los ángeles.

The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

The enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels.

Wie nun das Unkraut zusammengelesen und im Feuer verbrannt wird, so wird es bei der Vollendung dieses Zeitlaufs geschehen.

De manera que como es cogida la cizaña, y quemada al fuego, así será en el fin de este siglo.

As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

As therefore the darnel weeds are gathered up and burned with fire; so will it be at the end of this age.

Der Sohn des Menschen wird Seine Engel aussenden, und sie werden aus Seinem Reiche zusammenlesen alle Ärgernisse und die da Unrecht tun;

Enviará el Hijo del hombre sus ángeles, y cogerán de su reino todos los escándalos, y los que hacen iniquidad,

The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather out of his Kingdom all things that cause stumbling and those who do iniquity,

Und werden sie in den Feuerofen werfen. Dort wird sein Heulen und Zähneknirschen.

Y los echarán en el horno de fuego: allí será el lloro y el crujir de dientes.

And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Dann werden die Gerechten hervorleuchten, wie die Sonne, im Reiche ihres Vaters. Wer Ohren hat zu hören, der höre.

Entonces los justos resplandecerán como el sol en el reino de su Padre: el que tiene oídos para oir, oiga.

Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

Wiederum gleicht das Reich der Himmel einem Schatze, der in dem Felde verborgen liegt, den ein Mensch findet und verbirgt und in seiner Freude hingeht und alles, was er hat, verkauft und dieses Feld kauft.

Además, el reino de los cielos es semejante al tesoro escondido en el campo; el cual hallado, el hombre lo encubre, y de gozo de ello va, y vende todo lo que tiene, y compra aquel campo.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid. In his joy, he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

Wiederum ist das Reich der Himmel gleich einem Menschen, einem Kaufmann, der schöne Perlen sucht.

También el reino de los cielos es semejante al hombre tratante, que busca buenas perlas;

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:

“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a merchant seeking fine pearls,

Wenn der eine kostbare Perle gefunden, geht er hin, verkauft alles, was er hat, und kauft dieselbige.

Que hallando una preciosa perla, fué y vendió todo lo que tenía, y la compró.

Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

who having found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.

Wiederum ist das Reich der Himmel gleich einem Zugnetze, das ins Meer geworfen ward und allerlei Gattung zusammensammelte.

Asimismo el reino de los cielos es semejante á la red, que echada en la mar, coge de todas suertes de peces:

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:

“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some fish of every kind,

Welches sie, wenn es voll ist, ans Ufer heraufziehen, und sich niedersetzen und lesen die guten zusammen in Gefäße, die faulen aber werfen sie hinaus.

La cual estando llena, la sacaron á la orilla; y sentados, cogieron lo bueno en vasos, y lo malo echaron fuera.

Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

which, when it was filled, fishermen drew up on the beach. They sat down and gathered the good into containers, but the bad they threw away.

So wird es sein bei der Vollendung des Zeitlaufs. Die Engel werden ausgehen und ausscheiden die Schlechten aus der Mitte der Gerechten.

Así será al fin del siglo: saldrán los ángeles, y apartarán á los malos de entre los justos,

So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

So it will be in the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked from among the righteous,

Und werden sie in den Feuerofen werfen. Dort wird sein Weinen und Zähneknirschen.

Y los echarán en el horno del fuego: allí será el lloro y el crujir de dientes.

And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Spricht zu ihnen Jesus: Habt ihr das alles verstanden? Sie sagen zu Ihm: Ja, Herr.

Díceles Jesús: ¿Habéis entendido todas estas cosas? Ellos responden: Sí, Señor.

Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.

Jesus said to them, “Have you understood all these things?” They answered him, “Yes, Lord.”

Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Deshalb ist jeder Schriftgelehrte, der für das Reich der Himmel unterrichtet worden, gleich einem Menschen, einem Hausherrn, der aus seinem Schatz Neues und Altes hervorbringt.

Y él les dijo: Por eso todo escriba docto en el reino de los cielos, es semejante á un padre de familia, que saca de su tesoro cosas nuevas y cosas viejas.

Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

He said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has been made a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings out of his treasure new and old things.”

Und es geschah, da Jesus diese Gleichnisse vollendet hatte, begab Er Sich von dannen,

Y aconteció que acabando Jesús estas parábolas, pasó de allí.

And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence.

When Jesus had finished these parables, he departed from there.
