Alors des Scribes et des Pharisiens vinrent de Jérusalem à Jésus, et lui dirent :

ENTONCES llegaron á Jesús ciertos escribas y Fariseos de Jerusalem, diciendo:

Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,

Then Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem, saying,

Pourquoi tes Disciples transgressent-ils la tradition des Anciens ? car ils ne lavent point leurs mains quand ils prennent leur repas.

¿Por qué tus discípulos traspasan la tradición de los ancianos? porque no se lavan las manos cuando comen pan.

Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

“Why do your disciples disobey the tradition of the elders? For they don’t wash their hands when they eat bread.”

Mais il répondit, et leur dit : et vous, pourquoi transgressez-vous le commandement de Dieu par votre tradition ?

Y él respondiendo, les dijo: ¿Por qué también vosotros traspasáis el mandamiento de Dios por vuestra tradición?

But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

He answered them, “Why do you also disobey the commandment of God because of your tradition?

Car Dieu a commandé, disant : honore ton père et ta mère. Et il a dit aussi : que celui qui maudira son père ou sa mère, meure de mort.

Porque Dios mandó, diciendo: Honra al padre y á la madre, y, El que maldijere al padre ó á la madre, muera de muerte.

For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

For God commanded, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’

Mais vous dites : quiconque aura dit à son père ou à sa mère : Tout don qui sera offert de par moi, sera à ton profit ;

Mas vosotros decís: Cualquiera que dijere al padre ó á la madre: Es ya ofrenda mía á Dios todo aquello con que pudiera valerte;

But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;

But you say, ‘Whoever may tell his father or his mother, “Whatever help you might otherwise have gotten from me is a gift devoted to God,”

Encore qu’il n’honore pas son père, ou sa mère, il ne sera point coupable ; et ainsi vous avez anéanti le commandement de Dieu par votre tradition.

No deberá honrar á su padre ó á su madre con socorro. Así habéis invalidado el mandamiento de Dios por vuestra tradición.

And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

he shall not honor his father or mother.’ You have made the commandment of God void because of your tradition.

Hypocrites, Esaïe a bien prophétisé de vous, en disant :

Hipócritas, bien profetizó de vosotros Isaías, diciendo:

Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,

Ce peuple s’approche de moi de sa bouche, et m’honore de ses lèvres ; mais leur coeur est fort éloigné de moi.

Este pueblo de labios me honra; mas su corazón lejos está de mí.

This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

‘These people draw near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Mais ils m’honorent en vain, enseignant des doctrines qui ne sont que des commandements d’hommes.

Mas en vano me honran, enseñando doctrinas y mandamientos de hombres.

But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

And they worship me in vain, teaching as doctrine rules made by men.’”

Puis ayant appelé les troupes, il leur dit : écoutez, et comprenez ceci.

Y llamando á sí las gentes, les dijo: Oid, y entended:

And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

He summoned the multitude, and said to them, “Hear, and understand.

Ce n’est pas ce qui entre dans la bouche qui souille l’homme ; mais ce qui sort de la bouche c’est ce qui souille l’homme.

No lo que entra en la boca contamina al hombre; mas lo que sale de la boca, esto contamina al hombre.

Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

That which enters into the mouth doesn’t defile the man; but that which proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.”

Sur cela les Disciples s’approchant, lui dirent : n’as-tu pas connu que les Pharisiens ont été scandalisés quand ils ont ouï ce discours ?

Entonces llegándose sus discípulos, le dijeron: ¿Sabes que los Fariseos oyendo esta palabra se ofendieron?

Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

Then the disciples came and said to him, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?”

Et il répondit, et dit : toute plante que mon Père céleste n’a pas plantée, sera déracinée.

Mas respondiendo él, dijo: Toda planta que no plantó mi Padre celestial, será desarraigada.

But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

But he answered, “Every plant which my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted.

Laissez-les, ce sont des aveugles, conducteurs d’aveugles ; si un aveugle conduit un autre aveugle, ils tomberont tous deux dans la fosse.

Dejadlos: son ciegos guías de ciegos; y si el ciego guiare al ciego, ambos caerán en el hoyo.

Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.”

Alors Pierre prenant la parole, lui dit : explique-nous cette similitude.

Y respondiendo Pedro, le dijo: Decláranos esta parábola.

Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.

Peter answered him, “Explain the parable to us.”

Et Jésus dit : êtes-vous encore, vous aussi, sans intelligence ?

Y Jesús dijo: ¿Aun también vosotros sois sin entendimiento?

And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?

So Jesus said, “Do you also still not understand?

N’entendez-vous pas encore que tout ce qui entre dans la bouche descend dans l’estomac et ensuite est jeté au secret ?

¿No entendéis aún, que todo lo que entra en la boca, va al vientre, y es echado en la letrina?

Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?

Don’t you understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the belly and then out of the body?

Mais les choses qui sortent de la bouche partent du coeur, et ces choses-là souillent l’homme.

Mas lo que sale de la boca, del corazón sale; y esto contamina al hombre.

But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

But the things which proceed out of the mouth come out of the heart, and they defile the man.

Car du coeur sortent les mauvaises pensées, les meurtres, les adultères, les fornications, les larcins, les faux témoignages, les médisances.

Porque del corazón salen los malos pensamientos, muertes, adulterios, fornicaciones, hurtos, falsos testimonios, blasfemias.

For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies.

Ce sont là les choses qui souillent l’homme ; mais de manger sans avoir les mains lavées, cela ne souille point l’homme.

Estas cosas son las que contaminan al hombre: que comer con las manos por lavar no contamina al hombre.

These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands doesn’t defile the man.”

Alors Jésus partant de là se retira vers les quartiers de Tyr et de Sidon.

Y saliendo Jesús de allí, se fué á las partes de Tiro y de Sidón.

Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.

Jesus went out from there and withdrew into the region of Tyre and Sidon.

Et voici, une femme Cananéenne, qui était partie de ces quartiers-là, s’écria, en lui disant : Seigneur ! Fils de David, aie pitié de moi ! ma fille est misérablement tourmentée d’un démon.

Y he aquí una mujer Cananea, que había salido de aquellos términos, clamaba, diciéndole: Señor, Hijo de David, ten misericordia de mí; mi hija es malamente atormentada del demonio.

And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

Behold, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders and cried, saying, “Have mercy on me, Lord, you son of David! My daughter is severely possessed by a demon!”

Mais il ne lui répondit mot ; et ses Disciples s’approchant le prièrent, disant : renvoie-la ; car elle crie après nous.

Mas él no le respondió palabra. Entonces llegándose sus discípulos, le rogaron, diciendo: Despáchala, pues da voces tras nosotros.

But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.

But he answered her not a word. His disciples came and begged him, saying, “Send her away; for she cries after us.”

Et il répondit, et dit : je ne suis envoyé qu’aux brebis perdues de la maison d’Israël.

Y él respondiendo, dijo: No soy enviado sino á las ovejas perdidas de la casa de Israel.

But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

But he answered, “I wasn’t sent to anyone but the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

Mais elle vint, et l’adora, disant : Seigneur, assiste-moi !

Entonces ella vino, y le adoró, diciendo: Señor, socórreme.

Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

But she came and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, help me.”

Et il lui répondit, et dit : il ne convient pas de prendre le pain des enfants, et de le jeter aux petits chiens.

Y respondiendo él, dijo: No es bien tomar el pan de los hijos, y echarlo á los perrillos.

But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs.

But he answered, “It is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”

Mais elle dit : cela est vrai, Seigneur ! cependant les petits chiens mangent des miettes qui tombent de la table de leurs maîtres.

Y ella dijo: Sí, Señor; mas los perrillos comen de las migajas que caen de la mesa de sus señores.

And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.

But she said, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”

Alors Jésus répondant, lui dit : Ô femme ! ta foi est grande ; qu’il te soit fait comme tu le souhaites : et dès ce moment-là sa fille fut guérie.

Entonces respondiendo Jesús, dijo: Oh mujer, grande es tu fe; sea hecho contigo como quieres. Y fué sana su hija desde aquella hora.

Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, great is your faith! Be it done to you even as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that hour.

Et Jésus partant de là vint près de la mer de Galilée ; puis il monta sur une montagne, et s’assit là.

Y partido Jesús de allí, vino junto al mar de Galilea: y subiendo al monte, se sentó allí.

And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.

Jesus departed from there and came near to the sea of Galilee; and he went up on the mountain and sat there.

Et plusieurs troupes de gens vinrent à lui, ayant avec eux des boiteux, des aveugles, des muets, des manchots, et plusieurs autres ; lesquels on mit aux pieds de Jésus, et il les guérit.

Y llegaron á él muchas gentes, que tenían consigo cojos, ciegos, mudos, mancos, y otros muchos enfermos: y los echaron á los pies de Jesús, y los sanó:

And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them:

Great multitudes came to him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others, and they put them down at his feet. He healed them,

De sorte que ces troupes s’étonnèrent de voir les muets parler, les manchots être sains, les boiteux marcher, et les aveugles voir ; et elles glorifièrent le Dieu d’Israël.

De manera que se maravillaban las gentes, viendo hablar los mudos, los mancos sanos, andar los cojos, y ver los ciegos: y glorificaron al Dios de Israel.

Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

so that the multitude wondered when they saw the mute speaking, the injured healed, the lame walking, and the blind seeing—and they glorified the God of Israel.

Alors Jésus ayant appelé ses Disciples, dit : je suis ému de compassion envers cette multitude de gens, car il y a déjà trois jours qu’ils ne bougent d’avec moi, et ils n’ont rien à manger ; et je ne veux pas les renvoyer à jeun, de peur que les forces ne leur manquent en chemin.

Y Jesús llamando á sus discípulos, dijo: Tengo lástima de la gente, que ya hace tres días que perseveran conmigo, y no tienen qué comer; y enviarlos ayunos no quiero, porque no desmayen en el camino.

Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

Jesus summoned his disciples and said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they have continued with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I don’t want to send them away fasting, or they might faint on the way.”

Et ses Disciples lui dirent : d’où pourrions-nous tirer dans ce désert assez de pains pour rassasier une si grande multitude ?

Entonces sus discípulos le dicen: ¿Dónde tenemos nosotros tantos panes en el desierto, que hartemos á tan gran compañía?

And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?

The disciples said to him, “Where could we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a multitude?”

Et Jésus leur dit : combien avez-vous de pains ? ils lui dirent : Sept, et quelque peu de petits poissons.

Y Jesús les dice: ¿Cuántos panes tenéis? Y ellos dijeron: Siete, y unos pocos pececillos.

And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.

Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven, and a few small fish.”

Alors il commanda aux troupes de s’asseoir par terre.

Y mandó á las gentes que se recostasen sobre la tierra.

And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.

He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground;

Et ayant pris les sept pains et les poissons, il les rompit après avoir béni Dieu, et les donna à ses Disciples, et les Disciples au peuple.

Y tomando los siete panes y los peces, haciendo gracias, partió y dió á sus discípulos; y los discípulos á la gente.

And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

and he took the seven loaves and the fish. He gave thanks and broke them, and gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes.

Et ils mangèrent tous, et furent rassasiés ; et on remporta du reste des pièces de pain sept corbeilles pleines.

Y comieron todos, y se hartaron: y alzaron lo que sobró de los pedazos, siete espuertas llenas.

And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.

They all ate and were filled. They took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces that were left over.

Or ceux qui avaient mangé étaient quatre mille hommes, sans compter les femmes et les petits enfants.

Y eran los que habían comido, cuatro mil hombres, sin las mujeres y los niños.

And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.

Those who ate were four thousand men, in addition to women and children.

Et Jésus ayant donné congé aux troupes, monta sur une nacelle, et vint au territoire de Magdala. Retournez au Début

Entonces, despedidas las gentes, subió en el barco: y vino á los términos de Magdalá.

And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala.

Then he sent away the multitudes, got into the boat, and came into the borders of Magdala.
