Mateo 16

―Dios te ha bendecido, Simón, hijo de Jonás —le dijo Jesús—, porque esto no lo aprendiste de labios humanos. ¡Mi Padre celestial te lo reveló personalmente!

Entonces, respondiendo Jesús, le dijo: Bienaventurado eres, Simón, hijo de Jonás; porque no te lo reveló carne ni sangre, mas mi Padre que está en los cielos.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.
