He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.

Y en la mañana, el clima será malo hoy, porque el cielo está rojo y nublado. Ustedes pueden distinguir él aspecto del cielo, pero no los signos de los tiempos.
Y á la mañana: Hoy tempestad; porque tiene arreboles el cielo triste. Hipócritas, que sabéis hacer diferencia en la faz del cielo; ¿y en las señales de los tiempos no podéis?
And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
In the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but you can’t discern the signs of the times!
Una generación mala y adúltera está buscando una señal; y no se le dará ninguna señal sino la señal de Jonás. Y él se alejó de ellos.
La generación mala y adulterina demanda señal; mas señal no le será dada, sino la señal de Jonás profeta. Y dejándolos, se fué.
A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

Y cuando los discípulos llegaron al otro lado, no habían pensado en obtener pan.
Y viniendo sus discípulos de la otra parte del lago, se habían olvidado de tomar pan.
And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.

Jesús les dijo: Tengan cuidado de no tener nada que ver con la levadura de los fariseos y saduceos.
Y Jesús les dijo: Mirad, y guardaos de la levadura de los Fariseos y de los Saduceos.
Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

Y discutían entre sí, diciendo: No trajimos pan.
Y ellos pensaban dentro de sí, diciendo: Esto dice porque no tomamos pan.
And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.

Y mirándolos Jesús, dijo: Oh, hombres de poca fe, ¿por qué razonan entre ustedes, porque no tienen pan?
Y entendiéndolo Jesús, les dijo: ¿Por qué pensáis dentro de vosotros, hombres de poca fe, que no tomasteis pan?
Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?
Jesus, perceiving it, said, “Why do you reason among yourselves, you of little faith, because you have brought no bread?
¿Todavía no ven, o tienen en cuenta los cinco panes que se repartieron entre los cinco mil, y la cantidad de cestas que recogieron?
¿No entendéis aún, ni os acordáis de los cinco panes entre cinco mil hombres, y cuántos cestos alzasteis?
Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
Don’t you yet perceive or remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many baskets you took up,
¿O las siete piezas de pan que se multiplicó entre los cuatro mil, y el número de cestas que recogieron?

¿Cómo es que no entienden que no les estaba hablando del pan, pero que se cuidaran de los fariseos y los saduceos?
¿Cómo es que no entendéis que no por el pan os dije, que os guardaseis de la levadura de los Fariseos y de los Saduceos?
How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
How is it that you don’t perceive that I didn’t speak to you concerning bread? But beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
Entonces vieron que no era la levadura de pan lo que él tenía en mente, sino la enseñanza de los fariseos y saduceos.
Entonces entendieron que no les había dicho que se guardasen de la levadura de pan, sino de la doctrina de los Fariseos y de los Saduceos.
Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
Then they understood that he didn’t tell them to beware of the yeast of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
Cuando Jesús llegó a las partes de Cesarea de Filipo, dijo, interrogando a sus discípulos: ¿Quién dicen los hombres que el Hijo del hombre es?
Y viniendo Jesús á las partes de Cesarea de Filipo, preguntó á sus discípulos, diciendo: ¿Quién dicen los hombres que es el Hijo del hombre?
When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

Y ellos dijeron: Algunos dicen: Juan el Bautista; algunos, Elías; y otros, Jeremías, o uno de los profetas.

And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

Él les dice: y ustedes ¿quién dicen que soy yo?

He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

Entonces Simón Pedro respondió y dijo: Tú eres el Cristo, el Hijo del Dios viviente.

And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Entonces Jesús, respondiendo, le dijo: Simón, hijo de Jonás, bendecido eres, porque esta revelación no ha venido a ti de carne y sangre, sino de mi Padre que está en los cielos.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

Y yo te digo que tú eres Pedro, y sobre esta roca se construirá mi iglesia, y las puertas del infierno no la vencerán.

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

A ti te daré las llaves del reino de los cielos; y todo lo que atares en la tierra se atara en el cielo; y todo lo que hagas libre en la tierra será liberado en el cielo.

And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
I will give to you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven; and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven.”
Entonces él ordenó a los discípulos que no dieran palabra alguna de que él era Jesús el Cristo.

Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.
Then he commanded the disciples that they should tell no one that he was Jesus the Christ.
Desde ese momento Jesús empezó a declarar a sus discípulos cómo tendría que ir a Jerusalén, y sufrir mucho a manos de los que están en autoridad y los principales sacerdotes y escribas, y ser ejecutado, y el tercer resucitar de entre los muertos.
Desde aquel tiempo comenzó Jesús á declarar á sus discípulos que le convenía ir á Jerusalem, y padecer mucho de los ancianos, y de los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y de los escribas; y ser muerto, y resucitar al tercer día.
From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

Entonces Pedro, protestando, le dijo: Señor, Dios no lo permita; es imposible que esto ocurra.
Y Pedro, tomándolo aparte, comenzó á reprenderle, diciendo: Señor, ten compasión de ti: en ninguna manera esto te acontezca.
Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.
Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying, “Far be it from you, Lord! This will never be done to you.”
Pero él, volviéndose a Pedro, le dijo: Quítate de mi camino, Satanás; eres un peligro para mí porque tu mente no está en las cosas de Dios, sino en las de los hombres.
Entonces él, volviéndose, dijo á Pedro: Quítate de delante de mí, Satanás; me eres escándalo; porque no entiendes lo que es de Dios sino lo que es de los hombres.
But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
But he turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, for you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of men.”
Entonces Jesús dijo a sus discípulos: Si alguno quiere venir en pos de mí, niéguese a sí mismo, y tome su cruz, y venga en pos de mí.

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Porque cualquiera que tenga el deseo de mantener su vida segura la perderá; pero quienquiera que entregue su vida por mi causa, la hallará.
Porque cualquiera que quisiere salvar su vida, la perderá, y cualquiera que perdiere su vida por causa de mí, la hallará.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it.
¿Porque qué beneficio tiene un hombre, si se gana todo el mundo y pierde su vida? o ¿qué dará un hombre a cambio de su vida?
Porque ¿de qué aprovecha al hombre, si granjeare todo el mundo, y perdiere su alma? O ¿qué recompensa dará el hombre por su alma?
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?
Porque el Hijo del hombre vendrá en la gloria de su Padre con sus ángeles; y luego dará a cada hombre la recompensa de sus obras.
Porque el Hijo del hombre vendrá en la gloria de su Padre con sus ángeles, y entonces pagará á cada uno conforme á sus obras.
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

De cierto les digo, que hay algunos de los que están aquí que no gustarán la muerte, hasta que hayan visto al Hijo del hombre viniendo en su reino.

Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
Most certainly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste of death until they see the Son of Man coming in his Kingdom.”
