Mateo 17

Und nach sechs Tagen nimmt Jesus den Petrus und Jakobus und Johannes, seinen Bruder, mit und führt sie auf einen hohen Berg besonders.

Y DESPUÉS de seis días, Jesús toma á Pedro, y á Jacobo, y á Juan su hermano, y los lleva aparte á un monte alto:

And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,

After six days, Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John his brother, and brought them up into a high mountain by themselves.

Und er wurde vor ihnen umgestaltet. Und sein Angesicht leuchtete wie die Sonne, seine Kleider aber wurden weiß wie das Licht;

Y se transfiguró delante de ellos; y resplandeció su rostro como el sol, y sus vestidos fueron blancos como la luz.

And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

He was changed before them. His face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as the light.

und siehe, Moses und Elias erschienen ihnen und unterredeten sich mit ihm.

Y he aquí les aparecieron Moisés y Elías, hablando con él.

And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

Behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them talking with him.

Petrus aber hob an und sprach zu Jesu: Herr, es ist gut, daß wir hier sind. Wenn du willst, laß uns hier drei Hütten machen, dir eine und Moses eine und Elias eine.

Y respondiendo Pedro, dijo á Jesús: Señor, bien es que nos quedemos aquí: si quieres, hagamos aquí tres pabellones: para ti uno, y para Moisés otro, y otro para Elías.

Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you want, let’s make three tents here: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

Während er noch redete, siehe, da überschattete sie eine lichte Wolke, und siehe, eine Stimme kam aus der Wolke, welche sprach: Dieser ist mein geliebter Sohn, an welchem ich Wohlgefallen gefunden habe; ihn höret.

Y estando aún él hablando, he aquí una nube de luz que los cubrió; y he aquí una voz de la nube, que dijo: Este es mi Hijo amado, en el cual tomo contentamiento: á él oid.

While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”

Und als die Jünger es hörten, fielen sie auf ihr Angesicht und fürchteten sich sehr.

Y oyendo esto los discípulos, cayeron sobre sus rostros, y temieron en gran manera.

And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

When the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces, and were very afraid.

Und Jesus trat herzu, rührte sie an und sprach: Stehet auf und fürchtet euch nicht.

Entonces Jesús llegando, los tocó, y dijo: Levantaos, y no temáis.

And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.

Jesus came and touched them and said, “Get up, and don’t be afraid.”

Als sie aber ihre Augen aufhoben, sahen sie niemand als Jesum allein.

Y alzando ellos sus ojos, á nadie vieron, sino á solo Jesús.

And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

Lifting up their eyes, they saw no one, except Jesus alone.

Und als sie von dem Berge herabstiegen, gebot ihnen Jesus und sprach: Saget niemand das Gesicht, bis der Sohn des Menschen aus den Toten auferstanden ist.

Y como descendieron del monte, les mandó Jesús, diciendo: No digáis á nadie la visión, hasta que el Hijo del hombre resucite de los muertos.

And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.

As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, “Don’t tell anyone what you saw, until the Son of Man has risen from the dead.”

Und seine Jünger fragten ihn und sprachen: Was sagen denn die Schriftgelehrten, daß Elias zuerst kommen müsse?

Entonces sus discípulos le preguntaron, diciendo: ¿Por qué dicen pues los escribas que es menester que Elías venga primero?

And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?

His disciples asked him, saying, “Then why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”

Er aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Elias zwar kommt zuerst und wird alle Dinge wiederherstellen.

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: A la verdad, Elías vendrá primero, y restituirá todas las cosas.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

Jesus answered them, “Elijah indeed comes first, and will restore all things;

Ich sage euch aber, daß Elias schon gekommen ist, und sie haben ihn nicht erkannt, sondern an ihm getan, was irgend sie wollten. Also wird auch der Sohn des Menschen von ihnen leiden.

Mas os digo, que ya vino Elías, y no le conocieron; antes hicieron en él todo lo que quisieron: así también el Hijo del hombre padecerá de ellos.

But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

but I tell you that Elijah has come already, and they didn’t recognize him, but did to him whatever they wanted to. Even so the Son of Man will also suffer by them.”

Da verstanden die Jünger, daß er von Johannes dem Täufer zu ihnen sprach.

Los discípulos entonces entendieron, que les habló de Juan el Bautista.

Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

Then the disciples understood that he spoke to them of John the Baptizer.

Und als sie zu der Volksmenge kamen, trat ein Mensch zu ihm und fiel vor ihm auf die Knie

Y como ellos llegaron al gentío, vino á él un hombre hincándosele de rodillas,

And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

When they came to the multitude, a man came to him, kneeling down to him and saying,

und sprach: Herr, erbarme dich meines Sohnes, denn er ist mondsüchtig und leidet arg; denn oft fällt er ins Feuer und oft ins Wasser.

Y diciendo: Señor, ten misericordia de mi hijo, que es lunático, y padece malamente; porque muchas veces cae en el fuego, y muchas en el agua.

Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.

“Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is epileptic and suffers grievously; for he often falls into the fire, and often into the water.

Und ich brachte ihn zu deinen Jüngern, und sie konnten ihn nicht heilen.

Y le he presentado á tus discípulos, y no le han podido sanar.

And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.

So I brought him to your disciples, and they could not cure him.”

Jesus aber antwortete und sprach: O ungläubiges und verkehrtes Geschlecht! Bis wann soll ich bei euch sein? Bis wann soll ich euch ertragen? Bringet mir ihn her.

Y respondiendo Jesús, dijo: ¡Oh generación infiel y torcida! ¿hasta cuándo tengo de estar con vosotros? ¿hasta cuándo os tengo de sufrir? traédmele acá.

Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.

Jesus answered, “Faithless and perverse generation! How long will I be with you? How long will I bear with you? Bring him here to me.”

Und Jesus bedrohte ihn, und der Dämon fuhr von ihm aus; und von jener Stunde an war der Knabe geheilt.

Y Jesús le reprendió, y salió el demonio de él; y el mozo fué sano desde aquella hora.

And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.

Jesus rebuked the demon, and it went out of him, and the boy was cured from that hour.

Da traten die Jünger zu Jesu besonders und sprachen: Warum haben wir ihn nicht austreiben können?

Entonces, llegándose los discípulos á Jesús, aparte, dijeron: ¿Por qué nosotros no lo pudimos echar fuera?

Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

Then the disciples came to Jesus privately, and said, “Why weren’t we able to cast it out?”

Er aber spricht zu ihnen: Wegen eures Unglaubens; denn wahrlich, ich sage euch, wenn ihr Glauben habt wie ein Senfkorn, so werdet ihr zu diesem Berge sagen: Werde versetzt von hier dorthin! und er wird versetzt werden; und nichts wird euch unmöglich sein.

Y Jesús les dijo: Por vuestra incredulidad; porque de cierto os digo, que si tuviereis fe como un grano de mostaza, diréis á este monte: Pásate de aquí allá: y se pasará: y nada os será imposible.

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

He said to them, “Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Diese Art aber fährt nicht aus, als nur durch Gebet und Fasten.

Mas este linaje no sale sino por oración y ayuno.

Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

But this kind doesn’t go out except by prayer and fasting.”

Als sie sich aber in Galiläa aufhielten, sprach Jesus zu ihnen: Der Sohn des Menschen wird überliefert werden in der Menschen Hände,

Y estando ellos en Galilea, Jesús les dijo: El Hijo del hombre será entregado en manos de hombres,

And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:

While they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men,

und sie werden ihn töten, und am dritten Tage wird er auferweckt werden. Und sie wurden sehr betrübt.

Y le matarán; mas al tercer día resucitará. Y ellos se entristecieron en gran manera.

And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.

and they will kill him, and the third day he will be raised up.” They were exceedingly sorry.

Als sie aber nach Kapernaum kamen, traten die Einnehmer der Doppeldrachmen zu Petrus und sprachen: Zahlt euer Lehrer nicht die Doppeldrachmen?

Y como llegaron á Capernaum, vinieron á Pedro los que cobraban las dos dracmas, y dijeron: ¿Vuestro Maestro no paga las dos dracmas?

And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?

When they had come to Capernaum, those who collected the didrachma coins came to Peter, and said, “Doesn’t your teacher pay the didrachma?”

Er sagt: Ja. Und als er in das Haus eintrat, kam Jesus ihm zuvor und sprach: Was dünkt dich Simon? Von wem erheben die Könige der Erde Zoll oder Steuer, von ihren Söhnen oder von den Fremden?

El dice: Sí. Y entrando él en casa, Jesús le habló antes, diciendo: ¿Qué te parece, Simón? Los reyes de la tierra, ¿de quién cobran los tributos ó el censo? ¿de sus hijos ó de los extraños?

He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?

He said, “Yes.” When he came into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth receive toll or tribute? From their children, or from strangers?”

Petrus sagt zu ihm: Von den Fremden. Jesus sprach zu ihm: Demnach sind die Söhne frei.

Pedro le dice: De los extraños. Jesús le dijo: Luego los hijos son francos.

Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.

Peter said to him, “From strangers.” Jesus said to him, “Therefore the children are exempt.

Auf daß wir ihnen aber kein Ärgernis geben, geh an den See, wirf eine Angel aus und nimm den ersten Fisch, der heraufkommt, tue seinen Mund auf, und du wirst einen Stater finden; den nimm und gib ihnen für mich und dich.

Mas porque no los escandalicemos, ve á la mar, y echa el anzuelo, y el primer pez que viniere, tómalo, y abierta su boca, hallarás un estatero: tómalo, y dáselo por mí y por ti.

Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

But, lest we cause them to stumble, go to the sea, cast a hook, and take up the first fish that comes up. When you have opened its mouth, you will find a stater coin. Take that, and give it to them for me and you.”
