Und nach sechs tagen nahm Jesus Petrus und Johannes und Jakobus, seinen Bruder, und führte sie auf einen hohen Berg für sich allein (einsam, abseits).
Y DESPUÉS de seis días, Jesús toma á Pedro, y á Jacobo, y á Juan su hermano, y los lleva aparte á un monte alto:
And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
After six days, Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John his brother, and brought them up into a high mountain by themselves.
Und er wurde vor ihren Augen verwandelt (umgestaltet) und es leuchtete sein Gesicht (Antlitz, Erscheinung) wie die Sonne, sein Gewand (Kleid) aber wurde weiß wie das Licht (blendend/strahlend hell/weiß).
Y se transfiguró delante de ellos; y resplandeció su rostro como el sol, y sus vestidos fueron blancos como la luz.
And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
He was changed before them. His face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as the light.
Und siehe (plötzlich) erblickten (sahen, bemerkten) sie Moses und Elias, wie sie sich mit ihm besprachen (unterredeten).
Y he aquí les aparecieron Moisés y Elías, hablando con él.
And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
Behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them talking with him.
Als aber Petrus das Wort ergriff sagte er zu Jesus: Herr, es ist gut, dass wir hier sind; wenn du willst lass und hier bauen drei Zelte (Hütten), für dich eine und für Moses eine und für Elias eine.
Y respondiendo Pedro, dijo á Jesús: Señor, bien es que nos quedemos aquí: si quieres, hagamos aquí tres pabellones: para ti uno, y para Moisés otro, y otro para Elías.
Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you want, let’s make three tents here: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
Während (als) er noch redete, siehe (plötzlich), eine hell leuchtende (voller Licht) Wolke überschattete (warf ihren Schatten auf, bedeckte, verhüllte) sie und siehe (plötzlich), eine Stimme aus der Wolke sprach: Dies ist mein geliebter (einziger, erwählte) Sohn an ihm habe ich Wohlgefallen (Freude). Hört auf ihn! (Gehorcht ihm, schenkt ihm Gehör)
Y estando aún él hablando, he aquí una nube de luz que los cubrió; y he aquí una voz de la nube, que dijo: Este es mi Hijo amado, en el cual tomo contentamiento: á él oid.
While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”
Und als sie dies hörten fielen die Jünger nieder (warfen sich zu Boden) auf ihr Antlitz (Gesicht) und fürchteten sich sehr (heftig, gewaltig).
Y oyendo esto los discípulos, cayeron sobre sus rostros, y temieron en gran manera.
And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
When the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces, and were very afraid.
Und Jesus ging (kam, trat) zu ihnen und berührte sie (fasste sie an) und sagte: Steht auf und fürchtet euch (nicht länger).
Entonces Jesús llegando, los tocó, y dijo: Levantaos, y no temáis.
And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
Jesus came and touched them and said, “Get up, and don’t be afraid.”
Sie erhoben aber ihre Augen (sie blickten auf) und sahen niemanden außer Jesus allein.
Y alzando ellos sus ojos, á nadie vieron, sino á solo Jesús.
And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.
Lifting up their eyes, they saw no one, except Jesus alone.
Und als sie herabstiegen (herabkamen) von dem Berg befahl (gebietet) Jesus ihnen {sagend}: Sagt (erzählt) niemanden das Geschaute (Gesehene, das, was ihr gesehen habt) bis der Sohn des Menschen vom Tode aufersteht (auferweckt wird).
Y como descendieron del monte, les mandó Jesús, diciendo: No digáis á nadie la visión, hasta que el Hijo del hombre resucite de los muertos.
And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.
As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, “Don’t tell anyone what you saw, until the Son of Man has risen from the dead.”
Und es fragten ihn die Jünger {sagend}: Warum nun (denn) sagen die Schriftgelehrten, dass Elias zuerst kommen muss (es ist nötig, dass...)?
Entonces sus discípulos le preguntaron, diciendo: ¿Por qué dicen pues los escribas que es menester que Elías venga primero?
And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?
His disciples asked him, saying, “Then why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
Der aber (und dieser) antwortete ihnen {sagend}: Elias wird zwar kommen und wird alles wiederherstellen (in die richtige Ordnung/ Zustand versetze);
Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: A la verdad, Elías vendrá primero, y restituirá todas las cosas.
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.
Jesus answered them, “Elijah indeed comes first, and will restore all things;
ich aber sage euch, dass Elias schon (bereits) gekommen ist und sie haben ihn nicht erkannt sondern machten mit ihm was sie wollten; Dies muss auch der Sohn des Menschen von ihnen erleiden (erleben, erfahren).
Mas os digo, que ya vino Elías, y no le conocieron; antes hicieron en él todo lo que quisieron: así también el Hijo del hombre padecerá de ellos.
But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
but I tell you that Elijah has come already, and they didn’t recognize him, but did to him whatever they wanted to. Even so the Son of Man will also suffer by them.”
Da (dann) verstanden (sahen sie ein, begriffen sie) die Jünger, dass er von Johannes dem Täufer sprach.
Los discípulos entonces entendieron, que les habló de Juan el Bautista.
Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

Und als sie zu der (Volks-)Menge kamen (gingen), kam zu ihnen ein Mensch und warf sich auf die Knote vor ihnen (kniete nieder vor ihnen)
Y como ellos llegaron al gentío, vino á él un hombre hincándosele de rodillas,
And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,
When they came to the multitude, a man came to him, kneeling down to him and saying,
und sagte: Herr, hab Erbarmen mit meinem Sohn (erbarme dich über meinen Sohn), denn er ist mondsüchtig und leidet schlimm (übel, furchtbar); Denn häufig fällt er in das Feuer und oft in das Wasser.
Y diciendo: Señor, ten misericordia de mi hijo, que es lunático, y padece malamente; porque muchas veces cae en el fuego, y muchas en el agua.
Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.
“Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is epileptic and suffers grievously; for he often falls into the fire, and often into the water.
Und ich brachte ihn her zu (hin, dar) deinen Jüngern und sie konnten ihn nicht heilen.
Y le he presentado á tus discípulos, y no le han podido sanar.
And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
So I brought him to your disciples, and they could not cure him.”
Es antwortete ihm aber Jesus {sagend}: Oh du ungläubige (verdrehte) und verdrehte (verdorbene, verkehrtes) Generation (Geschlecht), bis wann werde ich mit (bei) euch sein? Wie lange soll ich euch (noch) ertragen? Bringt mir ihn her.
Y respondiendo Jesús, dijo: ¡Oh generación infiel y torcida! ¿hasta cuándo tengo de estar con vosotros? ¿hasta cuándo os tengo de sufrir? traédmele acá.
Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.
Jesus answered, “Faithless and perverse generation! How long will I be with you? How long will I bear with you? Bring him here to me.”
Und Jesus tadelte ihn (wies ihn zurecht, machte ihm Vorwürfe) und es ging aus ihm der Dämon (er fuhr aus) und es war geheilt das Kind von dieser Stunde an.
Y Jesús le reprendió, y salió el demonio de él; y el mozo fué sano desde aquella hora.
And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
Jesus rebuked the demon, and it went out of him, and the boy was cured from that hour.
Da (darauf) kamen die Jünger zu Jesus und als sie mit ihm alleine waren sagten sie: Warum konnte wir ihn nicht austreiben?
Entonces, llegándose los discípulos á Jesús, aparte, dijeron: ¿Por qué nosotros no lo pudimos echar fuera?
Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
Then the disciples came to Jesus privately, and said, “Why weren’t we able to cast it out?”
Dieser aber sagte ihnen: Wegen eures Kleinglaubens. Amen (wahrlich) denn ich sage euch, wenn ihr hättet Glauben wie ein Senfkorn, werdet ihr zu diesem Berg sagen: Geh weg von hier nach da, und er wird weggehen. Und ihr werdet nicht unvermögend (unfähig) sein (nichts wird euch unmöglich sein).
Y Jesús les dijo: Por vuestra incredulidad; porque de cierto os digo, que si tuviereis fe como un grano de mostaza, diréis á este monte: Pásate de aquí allá: y se pasará: y nada os será imposible.
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
He said to them, “Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
Diese Gattung aber (kommt) fährt nicht aus; außer (nur) durch Gebet und Fasten.
Mas este linaje no sale sino por oración y ayuno.
Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
But this kind doesn’t go out except by prayer and fasting.”
Als sie aber in Galiläa zusammengekommen waren, sagte ihnen Jesus: Es wir der Sohn des Menschen in die Hände (Gewalt) der Menschen gegeben (überantwortet),
Y estando ellos en Galilea, Jesús les dijo: El Hijo del hombre será entregado en manos de hombres,
And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:
While they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men,
und sie werden ihn töten und nach drei Tagen wird er aufweckt werden. Und sie wurden (waren) sehr traurig.
Y le matarán; mas al tercer día resucitará. Y ellos se entristecieron en gran manera.
And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.
and they will kill him, and the third day he will be raised up.” They were exceedingly sorry.
Als sie aber nach Kapernaum kamen, kamen die, die die Tempelsteuer einziehen (kassieren) zu Petrus und sagten: Euer Lehrer bezahlt die Tempelsteuer nicht?
Y como llegaron á Capernaum, vinieron á Pedro los que cobraban las dos dracmas, y dijeron: ¿Vuestro Maestro no paga las dos dracmas?
And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
When they had come to Capernaum, those who collected the didrachma coins came to Peter, and said, “Doesn’t your teacher pay the didrachma?”
Er sagte: Ja (doch). Und als er in das Haus hineinging kam ihm Jesus zuvor und sagte: Was scheint dir richtig, Simon? Die Könige der Erde erheben von wem Zoll (Steuern) oder Steuern, von ihren Söhnen oder von den fremden Menschen?
El dice: Sí. Y entrando él en casa, Jesús le habló antes, diciendo: ¿Qué te parece, Simón? Los reyes de la tierra, ¿de quién cobran los tributos ó el censo? ¿de sus hijos ó de los extraños?
He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
He said, “Yes.” When he came into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth receive toll or tribute? From their children, or from strangers?”
Er sagte (ihm) aber: Von den fremden Menschen, es sagte ihm aber Jesus: Folglich sind frei (befreit) die Söhne.
Pedro le dice: De los extraños. Jesús le dijo: Luego los hijos son francos.
Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.
Peter said to him, “From strangers.” Jesus said to him, “Therefore the children are exempt.
Damit wir aber keinen Anstoß erregen (ärgern, empören) bei hnen, gehe hin zum (an den) See, werfe aus den Angelhaken und den ersten herauskommenden (heraufgezogenen) Fischen nehme und wenn du öffnest sein Maul wirst du ein Vierdrachmenstück (darin) finden; Dies nimm und gib ihnen für mich und für dich.
Mas porque no los escandalicemos, ve á la mar, y echa el anzuelo, y el primer pez que viniere, tómalo, y abierta su boca, hallarás un estatero: tómalo, y dáselo por mí y por ti.
Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.
But, lest we cause them to stumble, go to the sea, cast a hook, and take up the first fish that comes up. When you have opened its mouth, you will find a stater coin. Take that, and give it to them for me and you.”
