Y como éste no tuviera con qué pagar, mandó su señor que fuesen vendidos él y su mujer y sus hijos con toda su hacienda, y se pagase así la deuda.

Mas á éste, no pudiendo pagar, mandó su señor venderle, y á su mujer é hijos, con todo lo que tenía, y que se le pagase.

But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
