Wehe der Welt der Argernisse halben! Es muß ja Argemis kommen; doch wehe dem Menschen, durch welchen Argemis kommt!

¡Ay del mundo por los escándalos! porque necesario es que vengan escándalos; mas ¡ay de aquel hombre por el cual viene el escándalo!

Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
