Se o teu olho te leva a tropeçar, arranca-o e atira-o longe de ti. É melhor para ti entrares na vida com um olho do que seres atirado no fogo eterno tendo os dois olhos.

Y si tu ojo te fuere ocasión de caer, sácalo y échalo de ti: mejor te es entrar con un solo ojo en la vida, que teniendo dos ojos ser echado en el infierno del fuego.
