Varios fariseos, en una entrevista, trataron de hacerlo caer en la trampa de decir algo que luego ellos pudieran utilizar contra él. ―¿Apruebas el divorcio? —le preguntaron.

Entonces se llegaron á él los Fariseos, tentándole, y diciéndole: ¿Es lícito al hombre repudiar á su mujer por cualquiera causa?

The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

Pharisees came to him, testing him and saying, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”
