Er sprach zu ihnen: Mose hat euch erlaubt, zu scheiden von euren Weibern, von eures Herzens Hartigkeit wegen; von Anbeginn aber ist's nicht also gewesen.

Díceles: Por la dureza de vuestro corazón Moisés os permitió repudiar á vuestras mujeres: mas al principio no fué así.

He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so.
