Mateo 19

E aconteceu que, quando Jesus acabou estas palavras, partiu da Galileia, e veio para a região da Judeia, além do Jordão.

Y ACONTECIÓ que acabando Jesús estas palabras, se pasó de Galilea, y vino á los términos de Judea, pasado el Jordán.

And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan;

When Jesus had finished these words, he departed from Galilee and came into the borders of Judea beyond the Jordan.

E muitas multidões o seguiram, e ele os curou ali.

Y le siguieron muchas gentes, y los sanó allí.

And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.

Então uns fariseus se aproximaram dele e, provando-o, perguntaram: É lícito se divorciar da sua mulher por qualquer causa?

Entonces se llegaron á él los Fariseos, tentándole, y diciéndole: ¿Es lícito al hombre repudiar á su mujer por cualquiera causa?

The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

Pharisees came to him, testing him and saying, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”

Porém ele respondeu: Não tendes lido que aquele que os criou no princípio, macho e fêmea os fez,

Y él respondiendo, les dijo: ¿No habéis leído que el que los hizo al principio, macho y hembra los hizo,

And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

He answered, “Haven’t you read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female,

e disse: Portanto o homem deixará pai e mãe, e se unirá a sua mulher, e os dois serão uma única carne?

Y dijo: Por tanto, el hombre dejará padre y madre, y se unirá á su mujer, y serán dos en una carne?

And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

and said, ‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh’?

Assim eles já não são mais dois, mas sim uma única carne; portanto, o que Deus juntou, o ser humano não separe.

Así que, no son ya más dos, sino una carne: por tanto, lo que Dios juntó, no lo aparte el hombre.

Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart.”

Eles lhe disseram: Por que, pois, Moisés mandou lhe dar carta de separação, e divorciar-se?

Dícenle: ¿Por qué, pues, Moisés mandó dar carta de divorcio, y repudiarla?

They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?

They asked him, “Why then did Moses command us to give her a certificate of divorce and divorce her?”

Jesus lhes disse: Por causa da dureza dos vossos corações Moisés vos permitiu divorciardes de vossas mulheres; mas no princípio não foi assim.

Díceles: Por la dureza de vuestro corazón Moisés os permitió repudiar á vuestras mujeres: mas al principio no fué así.

He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so.

Porém eu vos digo que qualquer um que se divorciar de sua mulher, a não ser por causa de pecado sexual, e se casar com outra, adultera.

Y yo os digo que cualquiera que repudiare á su mujer, si no fuere por causa de fornicación, y se casare con otra, adultera: y el que se casare con la repudiada, adultera.

And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and he who marries her when she is divorced commits adultery.”

Os discípulos lhe disseram: Se assim é a condição do homem com a mulher, não convém se casar.

Dícenle sus discípulos: Si así es la condición del hombre con su mujer, no conviene casarse.

His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.

His disciples said to him, “If this is the case of the man with his wife, it is not expedient to marry.”

Porém ele lhes disse: Nem todos recebem esta palavra, a não ser aqueles a quem é dado;

Entonces él les dijo: No todos reciben esta palabra, sino aquellos á quienes es dado.

But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.

But he said to them, “Not all men can receive this saying, but those to whom it is given.

Pois há castrados que nasceram assim do ventre da mãe; e há castrados que foram castrados pelos homens; e há castrados que castraram a si mesmos por causa do Reino dos céus. Quem pode receber isto ,receba.

Porque hay eunucos que nacieron así del vientre de su madre; y hay eunucos, que son hechos eunucos por los hombres; y hay eunucos que se hicieron á sí mismos eunucos por causa del reino de los cielos; el que pueda ser capaz de eso, séalo.

For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven’s sake. He who is able to receive it, let him receive it.”

Então lhe trouxeram crianças, para que pusesse as mãos sobre elas e orasse, mas os discípulos os repreendiam.

Entonces le fueron presentados unos niños, para que pusiese las manos sobre ellos, y orase; y los discípulos les riñeron.

Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.

Then little children were brought to him that he should lay his hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them.

Mas Jesus disse: Deixai as crianças, e não as impeçais de vir a mim, porque delas é o Reino dos céus.

Y Jesús dijo: Dejad á los niños, y no les impidáis de venir á mí; porque de los tales es el reino de los cielos.

But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

But Jesus said, “Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.”

Ele pôs as mãos sobre elas, e depois partiu-se dali.

Y habiendo puesto sobre ellos las manos, se partió de allí.

And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.

He laid his hands on them, and departed from there.

E eis que alguém se aproximou-se dele, e perguntou: Bom Mestre, que bem farei para eu ter a vida eterna?

Y he aquí, uno llegándose le dijo: Maestro bueno, ¿qué bien haré para tener la vida eterna?

And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

Behold, one came to him and said, “Good teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?”

E ele lhe disse: Por que me perguntas sobre o que é bom? Somente um é bom: Deus. Porém se queres entrar na vida, guarda os mandamentos.

Y él le dijo: ¿Por qué me llamas bueno? Ninguno es bueno sino uno, es á saber, Dios: y si quieres entrar en la vida, guarda los mandamientos.

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

He said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

Perguntou-lhe ele: Quais?E Jesus respondeu: Não cometerás homicídio, não adulterarás, não furtarás, não darás falso testemunho;

Dícele: ¿Cuáles? Y Jesús dijo: No matarás: No adulterarás: No hurtarás: No dirás falso testimonio:

He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

He said to him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder.’ ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ ‘You shall not steal.’ ‘You shall not offer false testimony.’

honra pai e mãe; e amarás ao teu próximo como a ti mesmo.

Honra á tu padre y á tu madre: y, Amarás á tu prójimo como á ti mismo.

Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

‘Honor your father and your mother.’ And, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”

O rapaz lhe disse: Tenho guardado tudo isso. Que me falta ainda?

Dícele el mancebo: Todo esto guardé desde mi juventud: ¿qué más me falta?

The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

The young man said to him, “All these things I have observed from my youth. What do I still lack?”

Disse-lhe Jesus: Se queres ser completo, vai, vende o que tens, e dá aos pobres. Assim terás um tesouro no céu. Então vem, segue-me.

Dícele Jesús: Si quieres ser perfecto, anda, vende lo que tienes, y dalo á los pobres, y tendrás tesoro en el cielo; y ven, sígueme.

Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”

Mas quando o rapaz ouviu esta palavra, foi embora triste, porque tinha muitos bens.

Y oyendo el mancebo esta palabra, se fué triste, porque tenía muchas posesiones.

But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

But when the young man heard this, he went away sad, for he was one who had great possessions.

Jesus, então, disse aos seus discípulos: Em verdade vos digo que dificilmente o rico entrará no reino dos céus.

Entonces Jesús dijo á sus discípulos: De cierto os digo, que un rico difícilmente entrará en el reino de los cielos.

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus said to his disciples, “Most certainly I say to you, a rich man will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven with difficulty.

Aliás, eu vos digo que é mais fácil um camelo entrar pela abertura de uma agulha do que o rico entrar no reino de Deus.

Mas os digo, que más liviano trabajo es pasar un camello por el ojo de una aguja, que entrar un rico en el reino de Dios.

And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”

Quando os discípulos ouviram isso ,espantaram-se muito, e disseram: Quem, pois, pode se salvar?

Mas sus discípulos, oyendo estas cosas, se espantaron en gran manera, diciendo: ¿Quién pues podrá ser salvo?

When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

When the disciples heard it, they were exceedingly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?”

Jesus olhou para eles ,e lhes respondeu: Para os seres humanos, isto é impossível; mas para Deus tudo é possível.

Y mirándolos Jesús, les dijo: Para con los hombres imposible es esto; mas para con Dios todo es posible.

But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Então Pedro se pôs a falar, e lhe perguntou: Eis que deixamos tudo, e te seguimos; o que, pois, conseguiremos ter?

Entonces respondiendo Pedro, le dijo: He aquí, nosotros hemos dejado todo, y te hemos seguido: ¿qué pues tendremos?

Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?

Then Peter answered, “Behold, we have left everything and followed you. What then will we have?”

E Jesus lhes disse: Em verdade vos digo que vós que me seguistes, na regeneração, quando o Filho do homem se sentar no trono de sua glória, vós também vos sentareis sobre doze tronos, para julgar as doze tribos de Israel.

Y Jesús les dijo: De cierto os digo, que vosotros que me habéis seguido, en la regeneración, cuando se sentará el Hijo del hombre en el trono de su gloria, vosotros también os sentaréis sobre doce tronos, para juzgar á las doce tribus de Israel.

And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Jesus said to them, “Most certainly I tell you that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on the throne of his glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

E qualquer um que houver deixado casas, ou irmãos, ou irmãs, ou pai, ou mãe, ou filhos, ou terras por causa do meu nome, receberá muitas vezes mais, e herdará a vida eterna.

Y cualquiera que dejare casas, ó hermanos, ó hermanas, ó padre, ó madre, ó mujer, ó hijos, ó tierras, por mi nombre, recibirá cien veces tanto, y heredará la vida eterna.

And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life.

Porém muitos primeiros serão últimos; e últimos, primeiros.

Mas muchos primeros serán postreros, y postreros primeros.

But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

But many will be last who are first, and first who are last.
