Da sprachen sie: Warum hat denn Mose geboten; einen Scheidebrief zu geben und sich von ihr zu scheiden?

Y ACONTECIÓ que acabando Jesús estas palabras, se pasó de Galilea, y vino á los términos de Judea, pasado el Jordán.

And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan;

When Jesus had finished these words, he departed from Galilee and came into the borders of Judea beyond the Jordan.

Er sprach zu ihnen: Mose hat euch erlaubt, zu scheiden von euren Weibern, von eures Herzens Härtigkeit wegen; von Anbeginn aber ist's nicht also gewesen.

Y le siguieron muchas gentes, y los sanó allí.

And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.

Ich sage aber euch: Wer sich von seinem Weibe scheidet (es sei denn um der Hurerei willen) und freiet eine andere, der bricht die Ehe. Und wer die Abgeschiedene freiet, der bricht auch die Ehe.

Entonces se llegaron á él los Fariseos, tentándole, y diciéndole: ¿Es lícito al hombre repudiar á su mujer por cualquiera causa?

The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

Pharisees came to him, testing him and saying, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”

Da sprachen die Jünger zu ihm: Stehet die Sache eines Mannes mit seinem Weibe also, so ist's nicht gut ehelich werden.

Y él respondiendo, les dijo: ¿No habéis leído que el que los hizo al principio, macho y hembra los hizo,

And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

He answered, “Haven’t you read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female,

Er sprach aber zu ihnen: Das Wort fasset nicht jedermann, sondern denen es gegeben ist.

Y dijo: Por tanto, el hombre dejará padre y madre, y se unirá á su mujer, y serán dos en una carne?

And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

and said, ‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh’?

Denn es sind etliche verschnitten, die sind aus Mutterleibe also geboren, und sind etliche verschnitten, die von Menschen verschnitten sind, und sind etliche verschnitten, die sich selbst verschnitten haben um des Himmelreichs willen. Wer es fassen mag, der fasse es.

Así que, no son ya más dos, sino una carne: por tanto, lo que Dios juntó, no lo aparte el hombre.

Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart.”

Da wurden Kindlein zu ihm gebracht, daß er die Hände auf sie legte und betete. Die Jünger aber fuhren sie an.

Dícenle: ¿Por qué, pues, Moisés mandó dar carta de divorcio, y repudiarla?

They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?

They asked him, “Why then did Moses command us to give her a certificate of divorce and divorce her?”

Aber Jesus sprach: Lasset die Kindlein und wehret ihnen nicht, zu mir zu kommen; denn solcher ist das Himmelreich.

Díceles: Por la dureza de vuestro corazón Moisés os permitió repudiar á vuestras mujeres: mas al principio no fué así.

He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so.

Und legte die Hände auf sie und zog von dannen.

Y yo os digo que cualquiera que repudiare á su mujer, si no fuere por causa de fornicación, y se casare con otra, adultera: y el que se casare con la repudiada, adultera.

And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and he who marries her when she is divorced commits adultery.”

Und siehe, einer trat zu ihm und sprach: Guter Meister, was soll ich Gutes tun, daß ich das ewige Leben möge haben?

Dícenle sus discípulos: Si así es la condición del hombre con su mujer, no conviene casarse.

His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.

His disciples said to him, “If this is the case of the man with his wife, it is not expedient to marry.”

Er aber sprach zu ihm: Was heißest du mich gut? Niemand ist gut denn der einige Gott. Willst du aber zum Leben eingehen, so halte die Gebote.

Entonces él les dijo: No todos reciben esta palabra, sino aquellos á quienes es dado.

But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.

But he said to them, “Not all men can receive this saying, but those to whom it is given.

Da sprach er zu ihm: Welche? Jesus aber sprach: Du sollst nicht töten; du sollst nicht ehebrechen; du sollst nicht stehlen; du sollst nicht falsch Zeugnis geben;

Porque hay eunucos que nacieron así del vientre de su madre; y hay eunucos, que son hechos eunucos por los hombres; y hay eunucos que se hicieron á sí mismos eunucos por causa del reino de los cielos; el que pueda ser capaz de eso, séalo.

For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven’s sake. He who is able to receive it, let him receive it.”

ehre Vater und Mutter, und: Du sollst deinen Nächsten lieben wie dich selbst.

Entonces le fueron presentados unos niños, para que pusiese las manos sobre ellos, y orase; y los discípulos les riñeron.

Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.

Then little children were brought to him that he should lay his hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them.

Da sprach der Jüngling zu ihm: Das habe ich alles gehalten von meiner Jugend auf; was fehlet mir noch?

Y Jesús dijo: Dejad á los niños, y no les impidáis de venir á mí; porque de los tales es el reino de los cielos.

But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

But Jesus said, “Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.”

Jesus sprach zu ihm: Willst du vollkommen sein, so gehe hin, verkaufe, was du hast, und gib's den Armen, so wirst du einen Schatz im Himmel haben; und komm und folge mir nach.

Y habiendo puesto sobre ellos las manos, se partió de allí.

And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.

He laid his hands on them, and departed from there.

Da der Jüngling das Wort hörete, ging er betrübt von ihm; denn er hatte viel Güter.

Y he aquí, uno llegándose le dijo: Maestro bueno, ¿qué bien haré para tener la vida eterna?

And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

Behold, one came to him and said, “Good teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?”

Jesus aber sprach zu seinen Jüngern: Wahrlich, ich sage euch, ein Reicher wird schwerlich ins Himmelreich kommen.

Y él le dijo: ¿Por qué me llamas bueno? Ninguno es bueno sino uno, es á saber, Dios: y si quieres entrar en la vida, guarda los mandamientos.

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

He said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

Und weiter sage ich euch: Es ist leichter, daß ein Kamel durch ein Nadelöhr gehe, denn daß ein Reicher ins Reich Gottes komme.

Dícele: ¿Cuáles? Y Jesús dijo: No matarás: No adulterarás: No hurtarás: No dirás falso testimonio:

He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

He said to him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder.’ ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ ‘You shall not steal.’ ‘You shall not offer false testimony.’

Da das seine Jünger höreten, entsetzten sie sich sehr und sprachen: Je, wer kann denn selig werden?

Honra á tu padre y á tu madre: y, Amarás á tu prójimo como á ti mismo.

Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

‘Honor your father and your mother.’ And, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”

Jesus aber sah sie an und sprach zu ihnen: Bei den Menschen ist's unmöglich, aber bei Gott sind alle Dinge möglich.

Dícele el mancebo: Todo esto guardé desde mi juventud: ¿qué más me falta?

The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

The young man said to him, “All these things I have observed from my youth. What do I still lack?”

Da antwortete Petrus und sprach zu ihm: Siehe, wir haben alles verlassen und sind dir nachgefolget; was wird uns dafür?

Dícele Jesús: Si quieres ser perfecto, anda, vende lo que tienes, y dalo á los pobres, y tendrás tesoro en el cielo; y ven, sígueme.

Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”

Jesus aber sprach zu ihnen: Wahrlich, ich sage euch, daß ihr, die ihr mir seid nachgefolget, in der Wiedergeburt, da des Menschen Sohn wird sitzen auf dem Stuhl seiner HERRLIchkeit, werdet ihr auch sitzen auf zwölf Stühlen und richten die zwölf Geschlechter Israels.

Y oyendo el mancebo esta palabra, se fué triste, porque tenía muchas posesiones.

But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

But when the young man heard this, he went away sad, for he was one who had great possessions.

Und wer verläßt Häuser oder Brüder oder Schwestern oder Vater oder Mutter oder Weib oder Kinder oder Äcker um meines Namens willen, der wird's hundertfältig nehmen und das ewige Leben ererben.

Entonces Jesús dijo á sus discípulos: De cierto os digo, que un rico difícilmente entrará en el reino de los cielos.

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus said to his disciples, “Most certainly I say to you, a rich man will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven with difficulty.

Aber viele, die da sind die Ersten, werden die Letzten, und die Letzten werden die Ersten sein.

Mas os digo, que más liviano trabajo es pasar un camello por el ojo de una aguja, que entrar un rico en el reino de Dios.

And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”

Das Himmelreich ist gleich einem Hausvater, der am Morgen ausging, Arbeiter zu mieten in seinen Weinberg.

Mas sus discípulos, oyendo estas cosas, se espantaron en gran manera, diciendo: ¿Quién pues podrá ser salvo?

When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

When the disciples heard it, they were exceedingly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?”

Und da er mit den Arbeitern eins ward um einen Groschen zum Taglohn, sandte er sie in seinen Weinberg.

Y mirándolos Jesús, les dijo: Para con los hombres imposible es esto; mas para con Dios todo es posible.

But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Und ging aus um die dritte Stunde und sah andere an dem Markt müßig stehen

Entonces respondiendo Pedro, le dijo: He aquí, nosotros hemos dejado todo, y te hemos seguido: ¿qué pues tendremos?

Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?

Then Peter answered, “Behold, we have left everything and followed you. What then will we have?”

und sprach zu ihnen: Gehet ihr auch hin in den Weinberg; ich will euch geben, was recht ist.

Y Jesús les dijo: De cierto os digo, que vosotros que me habéis seguido, en la regeneración, cuando se sentará el Hijo del hombre en el trono de su gloria, vosotros también os sentaréis sobre doce tronos, para juzgar á las doce tribus de Israel.

And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Jesus said to them, “Most certainly I tell you that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on the throne of his glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Und sie gingen hin. Abermal ging er aus um die sechste und neunte Stunde und tat gleich also.

Y cualquiera que dejare casas, ó hermanos, ó hermanas, ó padre, ó madre, ó mujer, ó hijos, ó tierras, por mi nombre, recibirá cien veces tanto, y heredará la vida eterna.

And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life.

Um die elfte Stunde aber ging er aus und fand andere müßig stehen und sprach zu ihnen: Was stehet ihr hier den ganzen Tag müßig?

Mas muchos primeros serán postreros, y postreros primeros.

But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

But many will be last who are first, and first who are last.
