Stammbaum Jesu Christi, des Sohnes Davids, des Sohnes Abrahams:

LIBRO de la generación de Jesucristo, hijo de David, hijo de Abraham.

The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

Abraham war der Vater Isaaks; Isaak der Vater Jakobs; Jakob der Vater Judas und seiner Brüder;

Abraham engendró á Isaac: é Isaac engendró á Jacob: y Jacob engendró á Judas y á sus hermanos:

Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;

Abraham became the father of Isaac. Isaac became the father of Jacob. Jacob became the father of Judah and his brothers.

Juda war der Vater des Phares und des Zara, deren Mutter Thamar war; Phares war der Vater Esroms; Esrom der Vater Arams;

Y Judas engendró de Thamar á Phares y á Zara: y Phares engendró á Esrom: y Esrom engendró á Aram:

And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;

Judah became the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar. Perez became the father of Hezron. Hezron became the father of Ram.

Aram der Vater Aminadabs; Aminadab der Vater Naassons; Naasson der Vater Salmons;

Y Aram engendró á Aminadab: y Aminadab engendró á Naassón: y Naassón engendró á Salmón:

And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;

Ram became the father of Amminadab. Amminadab became the father of Nahshon. Nahshon became the father of Salmon.

Salmon der Vater des Boas, dessen Mutter Rahab war; Boas der Vater Obeds, dessen Mutter Ruth war; Obed war der Vater Isais;

Y Salmón engendró de Rachâb á Booz, y Booz engendró de Ruth á Obed: y Obed engendró á Jessé:

And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;

Salmon became the father of Boaz by Rahab. Boaz became the father of Obed by Ruth. Obed became the father of Jesse.

Isai war der Vater des Königs David. David war der Vater Salomos, dessen Mutter (Bathseba) die Frau Urias gewesen war;

Y Jessé engendró al rey David: y el rey David engendró á Salomón de la que fué mujer de Urías:

And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;

Jesse became the father of King David. David the king became the father of Solomon by her who had been Uriah’s wife.

Salomo war der Vater Rehabeams; Rehabeam der Vater Abias; Abia der Vater Asas;

Y Salomón engendró á Roboam: y Roboam engendró á Abía: y Abía engendró á Asa:

And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;

Solomon became the father of Rehoboam. Rehoboam became the father of Abijah. Abijah became the father of Asa.

Asa der Vater Josaphats; Josaphat der Vater Jorams; Joram der Vater Ussias;

Y Asa engendró á Josaphat: y Josaphat engendró á Joram: y Joram engendró á Ozías:

And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;

Asa became the father of Jehoshaphat. Jehoshaphat became the father of Joram. Joram became the father of Uzziah.

Ussia der Vater Jothams; Jotham der Vater des Ahas; Ahas der Vater Hiskias;

Y Ozías engendró á Joatam: y Joatam engendró á Achâz: y Achâz engendró á Ezechîas:

And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;

Uzziah became the father of Jotham. Jotham became the father of Ahaz. Ahaz became the father of Hezekiah.

Hiskia der Vater Manasses; Manasse der Vater des Amon; Amon der Vater Josias;

Y Ezechîas engendró á Manasés: y Manasés engendró á Amón: y Amón engendró á Josías:

And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;

Hezekiah became the father of Manasseh. Manasseh became the father of Amon. Amon became the father of Josiah.

Josia der Vater Jechonjas und seiner Brüder zur Zeit der Wegführung nach Babylon.

Y Josías engendró á Jechônías y á sus hermanos, en la transmigración de Babilonia.

And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:

Josiah became the father of Jechoniah and his brothers at the time of the exile to Babylon.

Nach der babylonischen Gefangenschaft war Jechonja der Vater Salathiels; Salathiel der Vater Serubabels;

Y después de la transmigración de Babilonia, Jechônías engendró á Salathiel: y Salathiel engendró á Zorobabel:

And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;

After the exile to Babylon, Jechoniah became the father of Shealtiel. Shealtiel became the father of Zerubbabel.

Serubabel der Vater Abihuds; Abihud der Vater Eljakims; Eljakim der Vater Azors;

Y Zorobabel engendró á Abiud: y Abiud engendró á Eliachîm: y Eliachîm engendró á Azor:

And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;

Zerubbabel became the father of Abiud. Abiud became the father of Eliakim. Eliakim became the father of Azor.

Azor der Vater Sadoks; Sadok der Vater Achims; Achim der Vater Elihuds;

Y Azor engendró á Sadoc: y Sadoc engendró á Achîm: y Achîm engendró á Eliud:

And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;

Azor became the father of Zadok. Zadok became the father of Achim. Achim became the father of Eliud.

Elihud der Vater Eleasars; Eleasar der Vater Matthans; Matthan der Vater Jakobs;

Y Eliud engendró á Eleazar: y Eleazar engendró á Mathán: y Mathán engendró á Jacob:

And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;

Eliud became the father of Eleazar. Eleazar became the father of Matthan. Matthan became the father of Jacob.

Jakob der Vater Josephs, des Ehemannes der Maria, von welcher Jesus geboren ward, der da Christus genannt wird.

Y Jacob engendró á José, marido de María, de la cual nació Jesús, el cual es llamado el Cristo.

And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

Jacob became the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, from whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

Man sieht: von Abraham bis David sind es im ganzen vierzehn Geschlechter, von David bis zur babylonischen Gefangenschaft ebenfalls vierzehn Geschlechter, endlich von der babylonischen Gefangenschaft bis auf Christus nochmals vierzehn Geschlechter.

De manera que todas las generaciones desde Abraham hasta David son catorce generaciones: y desde David hasta la transmigración de Babilonia, catorce generaciones: y desde la transmigración de Babilonia hasta Cristo, catorce generaciones.

So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; from David to the exile to Babylon fourteen generations; and from the carrying away to Babylon to the Christ, fourteen generations.

Mit der Geburt Jesu Christi aber verhielt es sich so: Als seine Mutter Maria mit Joseph verlobt war, stellte es sich heraus, noch ehe sie zusammengekommen waren, daß sie vom heiligen Geist guter Hoffnung war.

Y el nacimiento de Jesucristo fué así: Que siendo María su madre desposada con José, antes que se juntasen, se halló haber concebido del Espíritu Santo.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: After his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit.

Da faßte Joseph, ihr Verlobter, der ein rechtschaffener Mann war und sie nicht in üblen Ruf bringen wollte, den Entschluß, sich ohne Aufsehen zu erregen von ihr loszusagen.

Y José su marido, como era justo, y no quisiese infamarla, quiso dejarla secretamente.

Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

Joseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, intended to put her away secretly.

Doch als er sich mit solchen Gedanken trug, siehe, da erschien ihm ein Engel des Herrn im Traum und sagte zu ihm: »Joseph, Sohn Davids, trage keinerlei Bedenken, Maria, deine Verlobte, als Ehefrau zu dir zu nehmen! Denn das von ihr zu erwartende Kind stammt vom heiligen Geist.

Y pensando él en esto, he aquí el ángel del Señor le aparece en sueños, diciendo: José, hijo de David, no temas de recibir á María tu mujer, porque lo que en ella es engendrado, del Espíritu Santo es.

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, don’t be afraid to take to yourself Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

Sie wird Mutter eines Sohnes werden, dem du den Namen Jesus geben sollst; denn er ist es, der sein Volk von ihren Sünden erretten wird.«

Y parirá un hijo, y llamarás su nombre JESUS, porque él salvará á su pueblo de sus pecados.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

She shall give birth to a son. You shall name him Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.”

Dies alles ist aber geschehen, damit das Wort erfüllt würde, das der Herr durch den Propheten gesprochen hat, der da sagt:

Todo esto aconteció para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por el Señor, por el profeta que dijo:

Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

Now all this has happened that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,

»Siehe, die Jungfrau wird guter Hoffnung und Mutter eines Sohnes werden, dem man den Namen Immanuel geben wird«, das heißt übersetzt: ›Mit uns ist Gott.‹ –

He aquí la virgen concebirá y parirá un hijo, y llamarás su nombre Emmanuel, que declarado, es: Con nosotros Dios.

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall give birth to a son. They shall call his name Immanuel,” which is, being interpreted, “God with us.”

Als Joseph dann aus dem Schlaf erwacht war, tat er, wie der Engel des Herrn ihm geboten hatte: er nahm seine Verlobte (als Gattin) zu sich,

Y despertando José del sueño, hizo como el ángel del Señor le había mandado, y recibió á su mujer.

Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

Joseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took his wife to himself;

verkehrte aber nicht ehelich mit ihr, bis sie einen Sohn geboren hatte; dem gab er den Namen Jesus.

Y no la conoció hasta que parió á su hijo primogénito: y llamó su nombre JESUS.

And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

and didn’t know her sexually until she had given birth to her firstborn son. He named him Jesus.
