The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

Abraão foi o pai de Isaque; Isaque, o pai de Jacó; Jacó, o pai de Judá e seus irmãos;

Abraham engendró á Isaac: é Isaac engendró á Jacob: y Jacob engendró á Judas y á sus hermanos:

Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;

Abraham became the father of Isaac. Isaac became the father of Jacob. Jacob became the father of Judah and his brothers.

Judá foi o pai de Farés e Zará, gerados de Tamar. Farés foi o pai Esrom; Esrom foi o pai de Arão;

Y Judas engendró de Thamar á Phares y á Zara: y Phares engendró á Esrom: y Esrom engendró á Aram:

And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;

Judah became the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar. Perez became the father of Hezron. Hezron became the father of Ram.

Arão foi o pai de Aminadabe; Aminadabe, pai de Nasom; Nasom, pai de Salmom;

Y Aram engendró á Aminadab: y Aminadab engendró á Naassón: y Naassón engendró á Salmón:

And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;

Ram became the father of Amminadab. Amminadab became the father of Nahshon. Nahshon became the father of Salmon.

Salmom foi o pai de Boaz, gerado de Raabe; Boaz, o pai de Obede, gerado de Rute; Obede, pai de Jessé, e

Y Salmón engendró de Rachâb á Booz, y Booz engendró de Ruth á Obed: y Obed engendró á Jessé:

And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;

Salmon became the father of Boaz by Rahab. Boaz became the father of Obed by Ruth. Obed became the father of Jesse.

Jessé foi o pai do rei Davi. Davi foi pai de Salomão, gerado pela esposa de Urias.

Y Jessé engendró al rey David: y el rey David engendró á Salomón de la que fué mujer de Urías:

And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;

Jesse became the father of King David. David the king became the father of Solomon by her who had been Uriah’s wife.

Salomão foi o pai de Roboão; Roboão, pai de Abias; Abias, pai de Asa.

Y Salomón engendró á Roboam: y Roboam engendró á Abía: y Abía engendró á Asa:

And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;

Solomon became the father of Rehoboam. Rehoboam became the father of Abijah. Abijah became the father of Asa.

Asa, pai de Josafá; Josafá foi o pai de Jorão, e Jorão foi um ancestral de Ozias.

Y Asa engendró á Josaphat: y Josaphat engendró á Joram: y Joram engendró á Ozías:

And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;

Asa became the father of Jehoshaphat. Jehoshaphat became the father of Joram. Joram became the father of Uzziah.

Ozias, foi o pai de Jotão; Jotão, pai de Acaz; Acaz, pai de Ezequias;

Y Ozías engendró á Joatam: y Joatam engendró á Achâz: y Achâz engendró á Ezechîas:

And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;

Uzziah became the father of Jotham. Jotham became the father of Ahaz. Ahaz became the father of Hezekiah.

Ezequias foi o pai de Manassés; Manassés, pai de Amom; Amom, pai de Josias, e

Y Ezechîas engendró á Manasés: y Manasés engendró á Amón: y Amón engendró á Josías:

And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;

Hezekiah became the father of Manasseh. Manasseh became the father of Amon. Amon became the father of Josiah.

Josias foi um ancestral de Jeconias e seus irmãos, no tempo da deportação para a Babilônia.

Y Josías engendró á Jechônías y á sus hermanos, en la transmigración de Babilonia.

And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:

Josiah became the father of Jechoniah and his brothers at the time of the exile to Babylon.

E, após a deportação para a Babilônia, Jeconias foi o pai de Salatiel; Salatiel, foi um ancestral de Zorobabel;

Y después de la transmigración de Babilonia, Jechônías engendró á Salathiel: y Salathiel engendró á Zorobabel:

And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;

After the exile to Babylon, Jechoniah became the father of Shealtiel. Shealtiel became the father of Zerubbabel.

Zorobabel, foi o pai de Abiúde; Abiúde, pai de Eliaquim; Eliaquim, pai de Azor;

Y Zorobabel engendró á Abiud: y Abiud engendró á Eliachîm: y Eliachîm engendró á Azor:

And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;

Zerubbabel became the father of Abiud. Abiud became the father of Eliakim. Eliakim became the father of Azor.

Azor foi o pai de Sadoque; Sadoque, pai de Aquim; Aquim, pai de Eliúde;

Y Azor engendró á Sadoc: y Sadoc engendró á Achîm: y Achîm engendró á Eliud:

And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;

Azor became the father of Zadok. Zadok became the father of Achim. Achim became the father of Eliud.

Eliúde foi o pai de Eleazar; Eleazar, pai de Matã; Matã, pai de Jacó, e

Y Eliud engendró á Eleazar: y Eleazar engendró á Mathán: y Mathán engendró á Jacob:

And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;

Eliud became the father of Eleazar. Eleazar became the father of Matthan. Matthan became the father of Jacob.

Jacó foi o pai de José, marido de Maria, da qual nasceu Jesus, aquele que é chamado Cristo.

Y Jacob engendró á José, marido de María, de la cual nació Jesús, el cual es llamado el Cristo.

And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

Jacob became the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, from whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

Todas as gerações: de Abraão até Davi, foram catorze gerações; de Davi até a deportação para a Babilônia, foram catorze gerações; e da deportação para a Babilônia até Cristo, foram catorze gerações.

De manera que todas las generaciones desde Abraham hasta David son catorce generaciones: y desde David hasta la transmigración de Babilonia, catorce generaciones: y desde la transmigración de Babilonia hasta Cristo, catorce generaciones.

So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; from David to the exile to Babylon fourteen generations; and from the carrying away to Babylon to the Christ, fourteen generations.

O nascimento de Jesus Cristo aconteceu assim: Maria, sua mãe, estava noiva de José, mas antes de se unirem em casamento, ela achou-se grávida pelo Espírito Santo.

Y el nacimiento de Jesucristo fué así: Que siendo María su madre desposada con José, antes que se juntasen, se halló haber concebido del Espíritu Santo.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: After his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit.

José, seu marido, era um homem justo, e não querendo desonrá-la publicamente, decidiu terminar seu noivado secretamente.

Y José su marido, como era justo, y no quisiese infamarla, quiso dejarla secretamente.

Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

Joseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, intended to put her away secretly.

Enquanto pensava nessas coisas, um anjo do Senhor apareceu para ele em um sonho, dizendo: "José, filho de Davi, não temas receber Maria como tua mulher, porque o que nela foi gerado é concebido pelo Espírito Santo.

Y pensando él en esto, he aquí el ángel del Señor le aparece en sueños, diciendo: José, hijo de David, no temas de recibir á María tu mujer, porque lo que en ella es engendrado, del Espíritu Santo es.

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, don’t be afraid to take to yourself Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

Ela dará à luz um filho e tu o chamarás de Jesus, porque Ele salvará Seu povo dos seus pecados".

Y parirá un hijo, y llamarás su nombre JESUS, porque él salvará á su pueblo de sus pecados.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

She shall give birth to a son. You shall name him Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.”

Tudo isso aconteceu para que se cumprisse o que foi dito pelo Senhor por meio do profeta:

Todo esto aconteció para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por el Señor, por el profeta que dijo:

Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

Now all this has happened that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,

"Eis que a virgem conceberá e dará à luz um filho, e o chamarão Emanuel, que significa 'Deus conosco'".

He aquí la virgen concebirá y parirá un hijo, y llamarás su nombre Emmanuel, que declarado, es: Con nosotros Dios.

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall give birth to a son. They shall call his name Immanuel,” which is, being interpreted, “God with us.”

José ao acordar de seu sono, fez como o anjo do Senhor lhe havia ordenado e a recebeu como sua esposa.

Y despertando José del sueño, hizo como el ángel del Señor le había mandado, y recibió á su mujer.

Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

Joseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took his wife to himself;

Entretanto não teve relações sexuais com ela, até que deu à luz um filho. E ele deu-lhe o nome de Jesus.

Y no la conoció hasta que parió á su hijo primogénito: y llamó su nombre JESUS.

And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

and didn’t know her sexually until she had given birth to her firstborn son. He named him Jesus.
