Genealogía de Jesucristo, hijo de David, hijo de Abrahán.

LIBRO de la generación de Jesucristo, hijo de David, hijo de Abraham.

The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

Abrahán engendró a Isaac. Isaac engendró a Jacob . Jacob engendró a Judas y a sus hermanos.

Abraham engendró á Isaac: é Isaac engendró á Jacob: y Jacob engendró á Judas y á sus hermanos:

Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;

Abraham became the father of Isaac. Isaac became the father of Jacob. Jacob became the father of Judah and his brothers.

Judas engendró de Tamar a Farés y a Zara. Farés engendró a Esrón. Esrón engendró a Arán.

Y Judas engendró de Thamar á Phares y á Zara: y Phares engendró á Esrom: y Esrom engendró á Aram:

And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;

Judah became the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar. Perez became the father of Hezron. Hezron became the father of Ram.

Arán engendró a Aminadab. Aminadab engendró a Naasón. Nassón engendró a Salmón.

Y Aram engendró á Aminadab: y Aminadab engendró á Naassón: y Naassón engendró á Salmón:

And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;

Ram became the father of Amminadab. Amminadab became the father of Nahshon. Nahshon became the father of Salmon.

Salmón engendró de Rahab a Booz. Booz engendró de Rut a Obed. Obed engendró a Jesé. Jesé engendró al rey David.

Y Salmón engendró de Rachâb á Booz, y Booz engendró de Ruth á Obed: y Obed engendró á Jessé:

And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;

Salmon became the father of Boaz by Rahab. Boaz became the father of Obed by Ruth. Obed became the father of Jesse.

El rey David engendró a Salomón , de la que fue mujer de Urías.

Y Jessé engendró al rey David: y el rey David engendró á Salomón de la que fué mujer de Urías:

And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;

Jesse became the father of King David. David the king became the father of Solomon by her who had been Uriah’s wife.

Salomón engendró a Roboam. Roboam engendró a Abías. Abías engendró a Asá.

Y Salomón engendró á Roboam: y Roboam engendró á Abía: y Abía engendró á Asa:

And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;

Solomon became the father of Rehoboam. Rehoboam became the father of Abijah. Abijah became the father of Asa.

Asá engendró a Josafat. Josafat engendró a Joram. Joram engendró a Ozías.

Y Asa engendró á Josaphat: y Josaphat engendró á Joram: y Joram engendró á Ozías:

And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;

Asa became the father of Jehoshaphat. Jehoshaphat became the father of Joram. Joram became the father of Uzziah.

Ozías engendró a Joatam. Joatam engendró a Acaz. Acaz engendró a Ezequías .

Y Ozías engendró á Joatam: y Joatam engendró á Achâz: y Achâz engendró á Ezechîas:

And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;

Uzziah became the father of Jotham. Jotham became the father of Ahaz. Ahaz became the father of Hezekiah.

Ezequías engendró a Manasés. Mana-sés engendró a Amón. Amón engendró a Josías.

Y Ezechîas engendró á Manasés: y Manasés engendró á Amón: y Amón engendró á Josías:

And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;

Hezekiah became the father of Manasseh. Manasseh became the father of Amon. Amon became the father of Josiah.

Josías engendró a Jeconías y a sus hermanos cerca del tiempo de la transportación de los judíos a Babilonia.

Y Josías engendró á Jechônías y á sus hermanos, en la transmigración de Babilonia.

And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:

Josiah became the father of Jechoniah and his brothers at the time of the exile to Babylon.

Y después que fueron transportados a Babilonia, Jeconías engendró a Salatiel. Salatiel engendró a Zorobabel.

Y después de la transmigración de Babilonia, Jechônías engendró á Salathiel: y Salathiel engendró á Zorobabel:

And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;

After the exile to Babylon, Jechoniah became the father of Shealtiel. Shealtiel became the father of Zerubbabel.

Zorobabel engendró a Abiud. Abiud engendró a Eliacim. Eliacim engendró a Azor.

Y Zorobabel engendró á Abiud: y Abiud engendró á Eliachîm: y Eliachîm engendró á Azor:

And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;

Zerubbabel became the father of Abiud. Abiud became the father of Eliakim. Eliakim became the father of Azor.

Azor engendró a Sadoc. Sadoc engendró a Aquim. Aquim engendró a Eliud.

Y Azor engendró á Sadoc: y Sadoc engendró á Achîm: y Achîm engendró á Eliud:

And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;

Azor became the father of Zadok. Zadok became the father of Achim. Achim became the father of Eliud.

Eliud engendró a Eleazar. Eleazar engendró a Matán. Matán engendró a Jacob .

Y Eliud engendró á Eleazar: y Eleazar engendró á Mathán: y Mathán engendró á Jacob:

And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;

Eliud became the father of Eleazar. Eleazar became the father of Matthan. Matthan became the father of Jacob.

Y Jacob engendró a José, el esposo de María, de la cual nació Jesús , el llamado Cristo .

Y Jacob engendró á José, marido de María, de la cual nació Jesús, el cual es llamado el Cristo.

And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

Jacob became the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, from whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

Así son catorce todas las generaciones desde Abrahán hasta David; y las de David hasta la transportación de los judíos a Babilonia catorce generaciones; y también catorce las generaciones desde la transportación a Babilonia hasta Cristo .

De manera que todas las generaciones desde Abraham hasta David son catorce generaciones: y desde David hasta la transmigración de Babilonia, catorce generaciones: y desde la transmigración de Babilonia hasta Cristo, catorce generaciones.

So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; from David to the exile to Babylon fourteen generations; and from the carrying away to Babylon to the Christ, fourteen generations.

El nacimiento de Cristo fue de esta manera: Estando desposada su madre María con José, sin que antes hubiesen estado juntos, se halló que había concebido en su seno por obra del Espíritu Santo.

Y el nacimiento de Jesucristo fué así: Que siendo María su madre desposada con José, antes que se juntasen, se halló haber concebido del Espíritu Santo.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: After his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit.

Mas José, su esposo, siendo como era justo, y no queriendo infamarla deliberó dejarla secretamente.

Y José su marido, como era justo, y no quisiese infamarla, quiso dejarla secretamente.

Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

Joseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, intended to put her away secretly.

Estando él en este pensamiento, he aquí que un ángel del Señor le apareció en sueños diciendo: José, hijo de David, no tengas recelo en recibir a María tu esposa en tu casa, porque lo que se ha engendrado en su vientre es obra del Espíritu Santo.

Y pensando él en esto, he aquí el ángel del Señor le aparece en sueños, diciendo: José, hijo de David, no temas de recibir á María tu mujer, porque lo que en ella es engendrado, del Espíritu Santo es.

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, don’t be afraid to take to yourself Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

Así que tendrá un hijo a quien pondrás por nombre Jesús ; pues él es el que ha de salvar a su pueblo, o librarle, de sus pecados.

Y parirá un hijo, y llamarás su nombre JESUS, porque él salvará á su pueblo de sus pecados.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

She shall give birth to a son. You shall name him Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.”

Todo lo cual se hizo en cumplimiento de lo que pronunció el Señor por el profeta, que dice:

Todo esto aconteció para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por el Señor, por el profeta que dijo:

Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

Now all this has happened that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,

Sabed que una virgen concebirá y tendrá un hijo, a quien pondrán por nombre Emmanuel, que traducido significa Dios con nosotros.

He aquí la virgen concebirá y parirá un hijo, y llamarás su nombre Emmanuel, que declarado, es: Con nosotros Dios.

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall give birth to a son. They shall call his name Immanuel,” which is, being interpreted, “God with us.”

Con esto José, al despertarse, hizo lo que le mandó el ángel del Señor, y recibió a su esposa.

Y despertando José del sueño, hizo como el ángel del Señor le había mandado, y recibió á su mujer.

Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

Joseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took his wife to himself;

Y sin haberla conocido o tocado, dio a luz su hijo primogénito, y le puso el nombre de Jesús .

Y no la conoció hasta que parió á su hijo primogénito: y llamó su nombre JESUS.

And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

and didn’t know her sexually until she had given birth to her firstborn son. He named him Jesus.
