" Car le royaume des cieux est semblable à un père de famille qui sortit de grand matin afin de louer des ouvriers pour sa vigne.

PORQUE el reino de los cielos es semejante á un hombre, padre de familia, que salió por la mañana á ajustar obreros para su viña.

For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.

“For the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who was the master of a household, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.

Étant convenu avec les ouvriers d'un denier par jour, il les envoya à sa vigne.

Y habiéndose concertado con los obreros en un denario al día, los envió á su viña.

And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

Il sortit vers la troisième heure et en vit d'autres qui se tenaient sur la place sans rien faire.

Y saliendo cerca de la hora de las tres, vió otros que estaban en la plaza ociosos;

et ils y allèrent. Il sortit encore vers la sixième et vers la neuvième heure, et fit la même chose.

Salió otra vez cerca de las horas sexta y nona, é hizo lo mismo.

Enfin, étant sorti vers la onzième heure, il en trouva d'autres qui étaient là oisifs, et il leur dit : Pourquoi vous tenez-vous ici toute la journée sans rien faire ?

Y saliendo cerca de la hora undécima, halló otros que estaban ociosos; y díceles: ¿Por qué estáis aquí todo el día ociosos?

And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?

About the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing idle. He said to them, ‘Why do you stand here all day idle?’

Ils lui répondirent : C'est que personne ne nous a loués. Il leur dit : Allez, vous aussi, à ma vigne.

Dícenle: Porque nadie nos ha ajustado. Díceles: Id también vosotros á la viña, y recibiréis lo que fuere justo.

They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.

“They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ “He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and you will receive whatever is right.’

Le soir étant venu, le maître de la vigne dit à son intendant : Appelle les ouvriers et paie leur salaire, en allant des derniers aux premiers.

Y cuando fué la tarde del día, el señor de la viña dijo á su mayordomo: Llama á los obreros y págales el jornal, comenzando desde los postreros hasta los primeros.

So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.

“When evening had come, the lord of the vineyard said to his manager, ‘Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning from the last to the first.’

Ceux de la onzième heure vinrent et reçurent chacun un denier.

Y viniendo los que habían ido cerca de la hora undécima, recibieron cada uno un denario.

And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.

“When those who were hired at about the eleventh hour came, they each received a denarius.

Les premiers, venant à leur tour, pensaient qu'ils recevraient davantage ; mais ils reçurent aussi chacun un denier.

Y viniendo también los primeros, pensaron que habían de recibir más; pero también ellos recibieron cada uno un denario.

But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.

En le recevant, ils murmuraient contre le père de famille,

Y tomándolo, murmuraban contra el padre de la familia,

And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,

en disant : Ces derniers n'ont travaillé qu'une heure, et tu leur donnes autant qu'à nous, qui avons porté le poids du jour et de la chaleur.

Diciendo: Estos postreros sólo han trabajado una hora, y los has hecho iguales á nosotros, que hemos llevado la carga y el calor del día.

Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.

saying, ‘These last have spent one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat!’

Mais le Maître s'adressant à l'un d'eux, répondit : Mon ami, je ne te fais point d'injustice : n'es-tu pas convenu avec moi d'un denier ?

Y él respondiendo, dijo á uno de ellos: Amigo, no te hago agravio; ¿no te concertaste conmigo por un denario?

But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?

“But he answered one of them, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Didn’t you agree with me for a denarius?

Prends ce qui te revient, et va-t'en. Pour moi, je veux donner à ce dernier autant qu'à toi.

Toma lo que es tuyo, y vete; mas quiero dar á este postrero, como á ti.

Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.

Take that which is yours, and go your way. It is my desire to give to this last just as much as to you.

Ne m'est-il pas permis de faire de mon bien ce que je veux ? Et ton œil sera-t-il mauvais parce que je suis bon ?

¿No me es lícito á mí hacer lo que quiero con lo mío? ó ¿es malo tu ojo, porque yo soy bueno?

Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?

Isn’t it lawful for me to do what I want to with what I own? Or is your eye evil, because I am good?’

Ainsi les derniers seront les premiers, et les premiers, les derniers ; car il y a beaucoup d'appelés, mais peu d'élus. "

Así los primeros serán postreros, y los postreros primeros: porque muchos son llamados, mas pocos escogidos.

So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Pendant que Jésus montait à Jérusalem, il prit à part les douze disciples et leur dit en chemin :

Y subiendo Jesús á Jerusalem, tomó sus doce discípulos aparte en el camino, y les dijo:

And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,

As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside, and on the way he said to them,

" Voici que nous montons à Jérusalem, et le Fils de l'homme sera livré aux Princes des prêtres et aux Scribes. Ils le condamneront à mort,

He aquí subimos á Jerusalem, y el Hijo del hombre será entregado á los príncipes de los sacerdotes y á los escribas, y le condenarán á muerte;

Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,

“Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death,

et le livreront aux Gentils pour être moqué, flagellé et crucifié ; et il ressuscitera le troisième jour. "

Y le entregarán á los Gentiles para que le escarnezcan, y azoten, y crucifiquen; mas al tercer día resucitará.

And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.

and will hand him over to the Gentiles to mock, to scourge, and to crucify; and the third day he will be raised up.”

Alors la mère des fils de Zébédée s'approcha de Jésus avec ses fils, et se prosterna devant lui pour lui demander quelque chose.

Entonces se llegó á él la madre de los hijos de Zebedeo con sus hijos, adorándole, y pidiéndole algo.

Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.

Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to him with her sons, kneeling and asking a certain thing of him.

Il lui dit : " Que voulez-vous ? " Elle répondit : " Ordonnez que mes deux fils, que voici, soient assis l'un à votre droite, l'autre à votre gauche, dans votre royaume. "

Y él le dijo: ¿Qué quieres? Ella le dijo: Di que se sienten estos dos hijos míos, el uno á tu mano derecha, y el otro á tu izquierda, en tu reino.

And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.

He said to her, “What do you want?” She said to him, “Command that these, my two sons, may sit, one on your right hand and one on your left hand, in your Kingdom.”

Jésus leur dit : " Vous ne savez pas ce que vous demandez. Pouvez-vous boire le calice que je dois boire ? — Nous le pouvons ", lui dirent-ils.

Entonces Jesús respondiendo, dijo: No sabéis lo que pedís: ¿podéis beber el vaso que yo he de beber, y ser bautizados del bautismo de que yo soy bautizado? Y ellos le dicen: Podemos.

But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.

But Jesus answered, “You don’t know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” They said to him, “We are able.”

Il leur répondit : " Vous boirez en effet mon calice ; quant à être assis à ma droite ou à ma gauche, ce n'est pas à moi de l'accorder ; si ce n'est à ceux à qui mon Père l'a préparé. "

Y él les dice: A la verdad mi vaso beberéis, y del bautismo de que yo soy bautizado, seréis bautizados; mas el sentaros á mi mano derecha y á mi izquierda, no es mío darlo, sino á aquellos para quienes está aparejado de mi Padre.

And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

He said to them, “You will indeed drink my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with; but to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give, but it is for whom it has been prepared by my Father.”

Ayant entendu cela, les dix autres furent indignés contre les deux frères.

Y como los diez oyeron esto, se enojaron de los dos hermanos.

And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.

When the ten heard it, they were indignant with the two brothers.

Mais Jésus les appela et leur dit : " Vous savez que les chefs des nations leur commandent en maîtres, et que les grands exercent l'empire sur elles.

Entonces Jesús llamándolos, dijo: Sabéis que los príncipes de los Gentiles se enseñorean sobre ellos, y los que son grandes ejercen sobre ellos potestad.

But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.

But Jesus summoned them, and said, “You know that the rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.

Il n'en sera pas ainsi parmi vous ; mais quiconque veut être grand parmi vous, qu'il se fasse votre serviteur ;

Mas entre vosotros no será así; sino el que quisiere entre vosotros hacerse grande, será vuestro servidor;

But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;

It shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant.

et quiconque veut être le premier parmi vous, qu'il se fasse votre esclave.

Y el que quisiere entre vosotros ser el primero, será vuestro siervo:

And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:

Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant,

C'est ainsi que le Fils de l'homme est venu, non pour être servi, mais pour servir, et donner sa vie pour la rançon de la multitude. "

Como el Hijo del hombre no vino para ser servido, sino para servir, y para dar su vida en rescate por muchos.

Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Comme ils sortaient de Jéricho, une grande foule le suivit.

Entonces saliendo ellos de Jericó, le seguía gran compañía.

And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.

Et voilà que deux aveugles, qui étaient assis sur le bord du chemin, entendant dire que Jésus passait, se mirent à crier : " Seigneur, fils de David, ayez pitié de nous. "

Y he aquí dos ciegos sentados junto al camino, como oyeron que Jesús pasaba, clamaron, diciendo: Señor, Hijo de David, ten misericordia de nosotros.

And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.

Behold, two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, you son of David!”

La foule les gourmandait pour les faire taire ; mais ils criaient plus fort : " Seigneur, fils de David, ayez pitié de nous. "

Y la gente les reñía para que callasen; mas ellos clamaban más, diciendo: Señor, Hijo de David, ten misericordia de nosotros.

And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.

The multitude rebuked them, telling them that they should be quiet, but they cried out even more, “Lord, have mercy on us, you son of David!”

Jésus, s'étant arrêté, les appela et dit : " Que voulez-vous que je vous fasse ? —

Y parándose Jesús, los llamó, y dijo: ¿Qué queréis que haga por vosotros?

And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?

Seigneur, lui dirent-ils, que nos yeux s'ouvrent. "

Ellos le dicen: Señor, que sean abiertos nuestros ojos.

Emu de compassion, Jésus toucha leurs yeux, et aussitôt ils recouvrèrent la vue et le suivirent.

Entonces Jesús, teniendo misericordia de ellos, les tocó los ojos, y luego sus ojos recibieron la vista; y le siguieron.

So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
