Mateo 21

E quando se aproximaram de Jerusalém, e chegaram a Betfagé, ao monte das Oliveiras, então Jesus mandou dois discípulos, dizendo-lhes:

Y COMO se acercaron á Jerusalem, y vinieron á Bethfagé, al monte de las Olivas, entonces Jesús envió dos discípulos,

And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

When they came near to Jerusalem and came to Bethsphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,

Ide à aldeia em vossa frente, e logo achareis uma jumenta amarrada, e um jumentinho com ela; desamarra-a, e trazei-os a mim.

Diciéndoles: Id á la aldea que está delante de vosotros, y luego hallaréis una asna atada, y un pollino con ella: desatadla, y traédmelos.

Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

saying to them, “Go into the village that is opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me.

E se alguém vos disser algo, direis: “O Senhor precisa deles, mas logo os devolverá”.

Y si alguno os dijere algo, decid: El Señor los ha menester. Y luego los dejará.

And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.

If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and immediately he will send them.”

Ora, isto aconteceu para que se cumprisse o que foi dito pelo profeta, que disse:

Y todo esto fué hecho, para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por el profeta, que dijo:

All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

Dizei à filha de Sião: “Eis que o teu rei vem a ti, manso, e sentado sobre um jumento; um jumentinho, filho de uma animal de carga”.

Decid á la hija de Sión: He aquí, tu Rey viene á ti, manso, y sentado sobre una asna, y sobre un pollino, hijo de animal de yugo.

Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

“Tell the daughter of Zion, behold, your King comes to you, humble, and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”

Os discípulos foram, e fizeram como Jesus havia lhes mandado;

Y los discípulos fueron, é hicieron como Jesús les mandó;

And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

The disciples went and did just as Jesus commanded them,

Então trouxeram a jumenta e o jumentinho, puseram as capas sobre eles, e ele montou sobre elas.

Y trajeron el asna y el pollino, y pusieron sobre ellos sus mantos; y se sentó sobre ellos.

And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.

and brought the donkey and the colt and laid their clothes on them; and he sat on them.

E uma grande multidão estendia suas roupas pelo caminho, e outros cortavam ramos das árvores, e os espalhavam pelo caminho.

Y la compañía, que era muy numerosa, tendía sus mantos en el camino: y otros cortaban ramos de los árboles, y los tendían por el camino.

And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.

E as multidões que iam adiante dele, e as que seguiam, clamavam: Hosana ao Filho de Davi! Bendito o que vem no nome do Senhor! Hosana nas alturas!

Y las gentes que iban delante, y las que iban detrás, aclamaban diciendo: ¡Hosanna al Hijo de David! ¡Bendito el que viene en el nombre del Señor! ¡Hosanna en las alturas!

And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

The multitudes who went in front of him, and those who followed, kept shouting, “Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

Enquanto ele entrava em Jerusalém, toda a cidade se alvoroçou, perguntando: Quem é este?

Y entrando él en Jerusalem, toda la ciudad se alborotó, diciendo: ¿Quién es éste?

And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

When he had come into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred up, saying, “Who is this?”

E as multidões respondiam: Este é o Profeta Jesus, de Nazaré de Galileia.

Y las gentes decían: Este es Jesús, el profeta, de Nazaret de Galilea.

And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

The multitudes said, “This is the prophet, Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee.”

Jesus entrou no Templo; então expulsou todos os que estavam vendendo e comprando no Templo, e virou as mesas dos cambistas e as cadeiras dos que vendiam pombas.

Y entró Jesús en el templo de Dios, y echó fuera todos los que vendían y compraban en el templo, y trastornó las mesas de los cambiadores, y las sillas de los que vendían palomas;

And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

Jesus entered into the temple of God and drove out all of those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the money changers’ tables and the seats of those who sold the doves.

E disse-lhes: Está escrito: “Minha casa será chamada casa de oração”; mas vós a tornais em covil de ladrões!

Y les dice: Escrito está: Mi casa, casa de oración será llamada; mas vosotros cueva de ladrones la habéis hecho.

And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a den of robbers!”

E cegos e mancos vieram a ele no Templo, e ele os curou.

Entonces vinieron á él ciegos y cojos en el templo, y los sanó.

And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

The lame and the blind came to him in the temple, and he healed them.

Quando os chefes dos sacerdotes e os escribas viram as maravilhas que ele fazia, e as crianças gritando no Templo: “Hosana ao Filho de Davi!”, eles ficaram indignados.

Mas los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los escribas, viendo las maravillas que hacía, y á los muchachos aclamando en el templo y diciendo: ¡Hosanna al Hijo de David! se indignaron,

And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased,

But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children who were crying in the temple and saying, “Hosanna to the son of David!” they were indignant,

E perguntaram-lhe: Ouves o que estas crianças dizem?E Jesus lhes respondeu: Sim. Nunca lestes: “Da boca das crianças e dos bebês providenciaste o louvor?”

Y le dijeron: ¿Oyes lo que éstos dicen? Y Jesús les dice: Sí: ¿nunca leísteis: De la boca de los niños y de los que maman perfeccionaste la alabanza?

And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

and said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” Jesus said to them, “Yes. Did you never read, ‘Out of the mouth of children and nursing babies, you have perfected praise’?”

Então ele os deixou, e saiu da cidade para Betânia, e ali passou a noite.

Y dejándolos, se salió fuera de la ciudad, á Bethania; y posó allí.

And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.

He left them and went out of the city to Bethany, and camped there.

E pela manhã, enquanto voltava para a cidade, teve fome.

Y por la mañana volviendo á la ciudad, tuvo hambre.

Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

Quando ele viu uma figueira perto do caminho, veio a ela, mas nada nela achou, a não ser somente folhas. E disse-lhe: Nunca de ti nasça fruto, jamais!E imediatamente a figueira se secou.

Y viendo una higuera cerca del camino, vino á ella, y no halló nada en ella, sino hojas solamente; y le dijo: Nunca más para siempre nazca de ti fruto. Y luego se secó la higuera.

And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

Seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to it, “Let there be no fruit from you forever!” Immediately the fig tree withered away.

Os discípulos viram, e ficaram maravilhados, dizendo: Como a figueira se secou de imediato?

Y viendo esto los discípulos, maravillados decían: ¿Cómo se secó luego la higuera?

And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!

When the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree immediately wither away?”

Porém Jesus lhes respondeu: Em verdade vos digo: se tiverdes fé, e não duvidardes, vós não somente fareis isto à figueira, mas até se disserdes a este monte: “Levanta-te, e lança-te no mar”, isso se fará.

Y respondiendo Jesús les dijo: De cierto os digo, que si tuviereis fe, y no dudareis, no sólo haréis esto de la higuera: mas si á este monte dijereis: Quítate y échate en la mar, será hecho.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done.

E tudo o que pedirdes em oração, crendo, recebereis.

Y todo lo que pidiereis en oración, creyendo, lo recibiréis.

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

Depois de entrar no templo, quando ele estava ensinando, os chefes dos sacerdotes e os anciãos do povo se aproximaram dele, perguntando: Com que autoridade fazes isto? E quem te deu esta autoridade?

Y como vino al templo, llegáronse á él cuando estaba enseñando, los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los ancianos del pueblo, diciendo: ¿Con qué autoridad haces esto? ¿y quién te dió esta autoridad?

And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?

When he had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, and said, “By what authority do you do these things? Who gave you this authority?”

Jesus lhes respondeu: Eu também vos farei uma pergunta. Se vós a responderdes a mim, também eu vos responderei com que autoridade faço isto.

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Yo también os preguntaré una palabra, la cual si me dijereis, también yo os diré con qué autoridad hago esto.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

Jesus answered them, “I also will ask you one question, which if you tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

De onde era o batismo de João? Do céu, ou dos seres humanos?E eles pensaram entre si mesmos, dizendo: Se dissermos: “Do céu”, ele nos dirá: “Por que, então, não crestes nele?

El bautismo de Juan, ¿de dónde era? ¿del cielo, ó de los hombres? Ellos entonces pensaron entre sí, diciendo: Si dijéremos, del cielo, nos dirá: ¿Por qué pues no le creísteis?

The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?

The baptism of John, where was it from? From heaven or from men?” They reasoned with themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will ask us, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’

Mas se dissermos: “Dos seres humanos”, temos medo da multidão, pois todos consideram João como profeta.

Y si dijéremos, de los hombres, tememos al pueblo; porque todos tienen á Juan por profeta.

But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.

But if we say, ‘From men,’ we fear the multitude, for all hold John as a prophet.”

Então responderam a Jesus: Não sabemos. E ele lhes disse: Nem eu vos digo com que autoridade faço isto.

Y respondiendo á Jesús, dijeron: No sabemos. Y él también les dijo: Ni yo os digo con qué autoridad hago esto.

And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

They answered Jesus, and said, “We don’t know.” He also said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.

Mas que vos parece? Um homem tinha dois filhos. Aproximando-se do primeiro, disse: “Filho, vai hoje trabalhar na minha vinha.”

Mas, ¿qué os parece? Un hombre tenía dos hijos, y llegando al primero, le dijo: Hijo, ve hoy á trabajar en mi viña.

But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.

But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first, and said, ‘Son, go work today in my vineyard.’

Porém ele respondeu: “Eu vou ,senhor”, mas não foi.

Y respondiendo él, dijo: No quiero; mas después, arrepentido, fué.

He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.

He answered, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he changed his mind, and went.

E, aproximando-se do segundo, disse da mesma maneira. E ele respondeu: “Não quero”; mas depois se arrependeu, e foi.

Y llegando al otro, le dijo de la misma manera; y respondiendo él, dijo: Yo, señor, voy. Y no fué.

And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.

He came to the second, and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I’m going, sir,’ but he didn’t go.

Qual dos dois fez a vontade do pai?Eles lhe responderam: O segundo. Jesus lhes disse: Em verdade vos digo que os cobradores de impostos e as prostitutas estão indo adiante de vós ao Reino de Deus.

¿Cuál de los dos hizo la voluntad de su padre? Dicen ellos: El primero. Díceles Jesús: De cierto os digo, que los publicanos y las rameras os van delante al reino de Dios.

Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said to him, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Most certainly I tell you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering into God’s Kingdom before you.

Pois João veio a vós mesmos no caminho de justiça, mas não crestes nele; enquanto que os cobradores de impostos e as prostitutas nele creram. Vós, porém, mesmo tendo visto isto ,nem assim vos arrependestes, a fim de nele crer.

Porque vino á vosotros Juan en camino de justicia, y no le creísteis; y los publicanos y las rameras le creyeron; y vosotros, viendo esto, no os arrepentisteis después para creerle.

For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.

For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you didn’t believe him; but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. When you saw it, you didn’t even repent afterward, that you might believe him.

Ouvi outra parábola. Havia um homem, dono de uma propriedade. Ele plantou uma vinha, cercou- a, fundou nela um lagar, e construiu uma torre. Depois a arrendou a uns lavradores, e partiu-se para um lugar distante.

Oid otra parábola: Fué un hombre, padre de familia, el cual plantó una viña; y la cercó de vallado, y cavó en ella un lagar, y edificó una torre, y la dió á renta á labradores, y se partió lejos.

Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:

“Hear another parable. There was a man who was a master of a household who planted a vineyard, set a hedge about it, dug a wine press in it, built a tower, leased it out to farmers, and went into another country.

Quando chegou o tempo dos frutos, enviou seus servos aos lavradores, para receberem os frutos que a ele pertenciam.

Y cuando se acercó el tiempo de los frutos, envió sus siervos á los labradores, para que recibiesen sus frutos.

And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.

When the season for the fruit came near, he sent his servants to the farmers to receive his fruit.

Mas os lavradores tomaram os seus servos, e feriram um, mataram outro, e apedrejaram outro.

Mas los labradores, tomando á los siervos, al uno hirieron, y al otro mataron, y al otro apedrearon.

And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.

The farmers took his servants, beat one, killed another, and stoned another.

Outra vez enviou outros servos, em maior número que os primeiros, mas fizeram-lhes o mesmo.

Envió de nuevo otros siervos, más que los primeros; é hicieron con ellos de la misma manera.

Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.

Again, he sent other servants more than the first; and they treated them the same way.

E por último lhes enviou o seu filho, dizendo: “Respeitarão ao meu filho”.

Y á la postre les envió su hijo, diciendo: Tendrán respeto á mi hijo.

But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.

But afterward he sent to them his son, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

Mas quando os lavradores viram o filho, disseram entre si: “Este é o herdeiro. Venhamos matá-lo, e tomemos a sua herança”.

Mas los labradores, viendo al hijo, dijeron entre sí: Este es el heredero; venid, matémosle, y tomemos su heredad.

But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.

But the farmers, when they saw the son, said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and seize his inheritance.’

Então o agarraram, lançaram-no para fora da vinha, e o mataram.

Y tomado, le echaron fuera de la viña, y le mataron.

And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.

So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard, then killed him.

Ora, quando o senhor da vinha chegar, o que fará com aqueles lavradores?

Pues cuando viniere el señor de la viña, ¿qué hará á aquellos labradores?

When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?

When therefore the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those farmers?”

Eles lhe responderam: Aos maus dará uma morte má, e arrendará a vinha a outros lavradores, que lhe deem os frutos em seus tempos de colheita .

Dícenle: á los malos destruirá miserablemente, y su viña dará á renta á otros labradores, que le paguen el fruto á sus tiempos.

They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

They told him, “He will miserably destroy those miserable men, and will lease out the vineyard to other farmers who will give him the fruit in its season.”

Jesus lhes disse: Nunca lestes nas Escrituras: “A pedra que os construtores rejeitaram, essa se tornou cabeça da esquina. Isto foi feito pelo Senhor, e é maravilhoso aos nossos olhos”?

Díceles Jesús: ¿Nunca leísteis en las Escrituras: La piedra que desecharon los que edificaban, ésta fué hecha por cabeza de esquina: por el Señor es hecho esto, y es cosa maravillosa en nuestros ojos?

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

Jesus said to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures, ‘The stone which the builders rejected was made the head of the corner. This was from the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes’?

Portanto eu vos digo que o reino de Deus será tirado de vós, e será dado a um povo que produza os frutos dele.

Por tanto os digo, que el reino de Dios será quitado de vosotros, y será dado á gente que haga los frutos de él.

Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

“Therefore I tell you, God’s Kingdom will be taken away from you and will be given to a nation producing its fruit.

E quem cair sobre esta pedra será quebrado; mas sobre quem ela cair, ela o tornará em pó.

Y el que cayere sobre esta piedra, será quebrantado; y sobre quien ella cayere, le desmenuzará.

And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but on whomever it will fall, it will scatter him as dust.”

Quando os chefes dos sacerdotes e os fariseus ouviram estas suas parábolas, entenderam que Jesus estava falando deles.

Y oyendo los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los Fariseos sus parábolas, entendieron que hablaba de ellos.

And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.

When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they perceived that he spoke about them.

E procuravam prendê-lo, mas temeram as multidões, pois elas o consideravam profeta.

Y buscando cómo echarle mano, temieron al pueblo; porque le tenían por profeta.

But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

When they sought to seize him, they feared the multitudes, because they considered him to be a prophet.
