Als sie sich dann Jerusalem näherten und nach Bethphage an den Ölberg gekommen waren, da sandte Jesus zwei von seinen Jüngern ab

Y COMO se acercaron á Jerusalem, y vinieron á Bethfagé, al monte de las Olivas, entonces Jesús envió dos discípulos,

And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

mit der Weisung: »Geht in das Dorf, das vor euch liegt! Ihr werdet dort sogleich (am Eingang) eine Eselin angebunden finden und ein Füllen bei ihr; bindet sie los und bringt sie mir her!

Diciéndoles: Id á la aldea que está delante de vosotros, y luego hallaréis una asna atada, y un pollino con ella: desatadla, y traédmelos.

Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

saying to them, “Go into the village that is opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me.

Und wenn euch jemand etwas sagen sollte, so antwortet ihm: ›Der Herr hat sie nötig, wird sie aber sofort zurückschicken.‹«

Y si alguno os dijere algo, decid: El Señor los ha menester. Y luego los dejará.

And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.

If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and immediately he will send them.”

Dies ist aber geschehen, damit das Wort des Propheten erfüllt werde, das da lautet:

Y todo esto fué hecho, para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por el profeta, que dijo:

All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

“Tell the daughter of Zion, behold, your King comes to you, humble, and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”

Als nun die Jünger hingegangen waren und den Auftrag Jesu ausgerichtet hatten,

führten sie die Eselin mit dem Füllen herbei, legten ihre Mäntel auf sie, und er setzte sich darauf.

Die überaus zahlreiche Volksmenge aber breitete ihre Mäntel auf den Weg aus, andere hieben Zweige von den Bäumen ab und streuten sie auf den Weg;

And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.

und die Scharen, die im Zuge vor ihm her gingen und die, welche ihm nachfolgten, riefen laut: »Hosianna dem Sohne Davids! Gepriesen sei, der da kommt im Namen des Herrn! Hosianna in den Himmelshöhen!«

Y las gentes que iban delante, y las que iban detrás, aclamaban diciendo: ¡Hosanna al Hijo de David! ¡Bendito el que viene en el nombre del Señor! ¡Hosanna en las alturas!

And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

The multitudes who went in front of him, and those who followed, kept shouting, “Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

Als er dann in Jerusalem eingezogen war, geriet die ganze Stadt in Bewegung, und zwar fragte man: »Wer ist dieser?«

Y entrando él en Jerusalem, toda la ciudad se alborotó, diciendo: ¿Quién es éste?

And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

Da sagte die Volksmenge: »Dies ist der Prophet Jesus aus Nazareth in Galiläa!«

Jesus ging dann in den Tempel Gottes, trieb alle hinaus, die im Tempel verkauften und kauften, warf die Tische der Geldwechsler und die Sitze der Taubenverkäufer um

Y entró Jesús en el templo de Dios, y echó fuera todos los que vendían y compraban en el templo, y trastornó las mesas de los cambiadores, y las sillas de los que vendían palomas;

And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

Jesus entered into the temple of God and drove out all of those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the money changers’ tables and the seats of those who sold the doves.

und sagte zu ihnen: »Es steht geschrieben: ›Mein Haus soll ein Bethaus heißen!‹ Ihr aber macht es zu einer ›Räuberhöhle‹!«

Y les dice: Escrito está: Mi casa, casa de oración será llamada; mas vosotros cueva de ladrones la habéis hecho.

And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a den of robbers!”

Es kamen auch Blinde und Lahme im Tempel zu ihm, und er heilte sie.

Entonces vinieron á él ciegos y cojos en el templo, y los sanó.

And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

Als aber die Hohenpriester und Schriftgelehrten die Wunder sahen, die er tat, und (hörten) wie die Kinder im Tempel laut riefen: »Hosianna dem Sohne Davids!«, wurden sie unwillig

und sagten zu ihm: »Hörst du nicht, was diese hier rufen?« Da antwortete Jesus ihnen: »Jawohl! Habt ihr noch niemals (das Schriftwort) gelesen: ›Aus dem Munde von Unmündigen und Säuglingen hast du (dir) Lobpreis bereitet‹?«

Y le dijeron: ¿Oyes lo que éstos dicen? Y Jesús les dice: Sí: ¿nunca leísteis: De la boca de los niños y de los que maman perfeccionaste la alabanza?

And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

and said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” Jesus said to them, “Yes. Did you never read, ‘Out of the mouth of children and nursing babies, you have perfected praise’?”

Mit diesen Worten ließ er sie stehen, ging aus der Stadt hinaus nach Bethanien und blieb über Nacht dort.

Y dejándolos, se salió fuera de la ciudad, á Bethania; y posó allí.

And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.

Als er dann frühmorgens in die Stadt zurückkehrte, hungerte ihn,

und als er einen einzelnen Feigenbaum am Wege stehen sah, ging er zu ihm hin, fand aber nichts anderes an ihm als Blätter. Da sagte er zu ihm: »Nie mehr soll noch Frucht von dir kommen in Ewigkeit!«, und der Feigenbaum verdorrte sofort.

Y viendo una higuera cerca del camino, vino á ella, y no halló nada en ella, sino hojas solamente; y le dijo: Nunca más para siempre nazca de ti fruto. Y luego se secó la higuera.

And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

Seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to it, “Let there be no fruit from you forever!” Immediately the fig tree withered away.

Als die Jünger das sahen, verwunderten sie sich und sagten: »Wie kommt es, daß der Feigenbaum sofort verdorrt ist?«

Y viendo esto los discípulos, maravillados decían: ¿Cómo se secó luego la higuera?

And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!

When the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree immediately wither away?”

Da antwortete ihnen Jesus: »Wahrlich ich sage euch: Wenn ihr Glauben habt und keinen Zweifel hegt, so werdet ihr nicht nur das, was hier mit dem Feigenbaume geschehen ist, tun können, sondern auch, wenn ihr zu dem Berge hier sagtet: ›Hebe dich empor und stürze dich ins Meer!‹, so würde es geschehen;

Y respondiendo Jesús les dijo: De cierto os digo, que si tuviereis fe, y no dudareis, no sólo haréis esto de la higuera: mas si á este monte dijereis: Quítate y échate en la mar, será hecho.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done.

und alles, um was ihr im Gebet bittet, werdet ihr empfangen, wenn ihr Glauben habt.«

Y todo lo que pidiereis en oración, creyendo, lo recibiréis.

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

Als er dann in den Tempel gekommen war, traten die Hohenpriester und die Ältesten des Volkes zu ihm, während er lehrte, und fragten ihn: »Auf Grund welcher Vollmacht trittst du in dieser Weise hier auf, und wer hat dir die Vollmacht dazu gegeben?«

Y como vino al templo, llegáronse á él cuando estaba enseñando, los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los ancianos del pueblo, diciendo: ¿Con qué autoridad haces esto? ¿y quién te dió esta autoridad?

And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?

When he had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, and said, “By what authority do you do these things? Who gave you this authority?”

Jesus gab ihnen zur Antwort: »Auch ich will euch eine einzige Frage vorlegen; wenn ihr sie mir beantwortet, so will auch ich euch sagen, auf Grund welcher Vollmacht ich hier so auftrete:

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Yo también os preguntaré una palabra, la cual si me dijereis, también yo os diré con qué autoridad hago esto.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

Jesus answered them, “I also will ask you one question, which if you tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

Woher stammte die Taufe des Johannes? Vom Himmel oder von den Menschen?« Da überlegten sie bei sich folgendermaßen:

El bautismo de Juan, ¿de dónde era? ¿del cielo, ó de los hombres? Ellos entonces pensaron entre sí, diciendo: Si dijéremos, del cielo, nos dirá: ¿Por qué pues no le creísteis?

The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?

The baptism of John, where was it from? From heaven or from men?” They reasoned with themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will ask us, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’

»Sagen wir: ›Vom Himmel‹, so wird er uns vorhalten: ›Warum habt ihr ihm dann keinen Glauben geschenkt?‹ Sagen wir aber: ›Von den Menschen‹, so haben wir das Volk zu fürchten; denn alle halten Johannes für einen Propheten.«

Y si dijéremos, de los hombres, tememos al pueblo; porque todos tienen á Juan por profeta.

But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.

But if we say, ‘From men,’ we fear the multitude, for all hold John as a prophet.”

So gaben sie denn Jesus zur Antwort: »Wir wissen es nicht.« Da antwortete auch er ihnen: »Dann sage auch ich euch nicht, auf Grund welcher Vollmacht ich hier so auftrete.«

Y respondiendo á Jesús, dijeron: No sabemos. Y él también les dijo: Ni yo os digo con qué autoridad hago esto.

And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

They answered Jesus, and said, “We don’t know.” He also said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.

»Was meint ihr aber (über folgendes)? Ein Mann hatte zwei Söhne. Er ging nun zu dem ersten und sagte: ›Mein Sohn, gehe hin und arbeite heute im Weinberge.‹

Mas, ¿qué os parece? Un hombre tenía dos hijos, y llegando al primero, le dijo: Hijo, ve hoy á trabajar en mi viña.

But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.

But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first, and said, ‘Son, go work today in my vineyard.’

Der antwortete: ›Ja, Herr‹, ging aber nicht hin.

Y respondiendo él, dijo: No quiero; mas después, arrepentido, fué.

He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.

He answered, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he changed his mind, and went.

Dann ging er zu dem zweiten und sagte zu ihm das gleiche. Der gab zur Antwort: ›Ich will nicht!‹ Später aber besann er sich eines Besseren und ging hin.

Y llegando al otro, le dijo de la misma manera; y respondiendo él, dijo: Yo, señor, voy. Y no fué.

And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.

He came to the second, and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I’m going, sir,’ but he didn’t go.

Wer von den beiden hat nun den Willen des Vaters getan?« Sie antworteten: »Der zweite.« Da sagte Jesus zu ihnen: »Wahrlich ich sage euch: Die Zöllner und die Dirnen kommen vor euch in das Reich Gottes.

¿Cuál de los dos hizo la voluntad de su padre? Dicen ellos: El primero. Díceles Jesús: De cierto os digo, que los publicanos y las rameras os van delante al reino de Dios.

Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said to him, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Most certainly I tell you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering into God’s Kingdom before you.

Denn Johannes ist mit der Lehre von der Gerechtigkeit zu euch gekommen, und ihr habt ihm nicht geglaubt, während die Zöllner und die Dirnen ihm Glauben geschenkt haben. Ihr dagegen seid, obgleich ihr das sahet, auch hinterher nicht in euch gegangen, daß ihr ihm geglaubt hättet.«

Porque vino á vosotros Juan en camino de justicia, y no le creísteis; y los publicanos y las rameras le creyeron; y vosotros, viendo esto, no os arrepentisteis después para creerle.

For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.

For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you didn’t believe him; but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. When you saw it, you didn’t even repent afterward, that you might believe him.

»Vernehmt noch ein anderes Gleichnis: Es war ein Hausherr, der legte einen Weinberg an, umgab ihn mit einem Zaun, grub in ihm eine Kelter, baute einen Wachtturm, verpachtete ihn an Weingärtner und ging dann außer Landes.

Oid otra parábola: Fué un hombre, padre de familia, el cual plantó una viña; y la cercó de vallado, y cavó en ella un lagar, y edificó una torre, y la dió á renta á labradores, y se partió lejos.

Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:

“Hear another parable. There was a man who was a master of a household who planted a vineyard, set a hedge about it, dug a wine press in it, built a tower, leased it out to farmers, and went into another country.

Als dann die Zeit der Früchte kam, sandte er seine Knechte zu den Weingärtnern, damit sie die ihm zukommenden Früchte in Empfang nähmen.

Y cuando se acercó el tiempo de los frutos, envió sus siervos á los labradores, para que recibiesen sus frutos.

And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.

When the season for the fruit came near, he sent his servants to the farmers to receive his fruit.

Da ergriffen die Weingärtner seine Knechte: den einen mißhandelten sie, den andern erschlugen sie, den dritten steinigten sie.

Mas los labradores, tomando á los siervos, al uno hirieron, y al otro mataron, y al otro apedrearon.

And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.

The farmers took his servants, beat one, killed another, and stoned another.

Wiederum sandte er andere Knechte in noch größerer Zahl als die ersten, doch sie machten es mit ihnen ebenso.

Envió de nuevo otros siervos, más que los primeros; é hicieron con ellos de la misma manera.

Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.

Zuletzt sandte er seinen Sohn zu ihnen, weil er dachte: ›Sie werden sich doch vor meinem Sohne scheuen!‹

Y á la postre les envió su hijo, diciendo: Tendrán respeto á mi hijo.

But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.

But afterward he sent to them his son, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

Als aber die Weingärtner den Sohn sahen, sagten sie unter sich: ›Dieser ist der Erbe: kommt, wir wollen ihn töten, dann können wir sein Erbgut in Besitz nehmen!‹

Mas los labradores, viendo al hijo, dijeron entre sí: Este es el heredero; venid, matémosle, y tomemos su heredad.

But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.

But the farmers, when they saw the son, said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and seize his inheritance.’

So ergriffen sie ihn denn, stießen ihn zum Weinberg hinaus und schlugen ihn tot.

Y tomado, le echaron fuera de la viña, y le mataron.

And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.

So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard, then killed him.

Wenn nun der Herr des Weinbergs kommt, was wird er mit diesen Weingärtnern machen?«

Pues cuando viniere el señor de la viña, ¿qué hará á aquellos labradores?

When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?

When therefore the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those farmers?”

Sie antworteten ihm: »Er wird die Elenden elendiglich umbringen und den Weinberg an andere Weingärtner verpachten, die ihm die Früchte zu rechter Zeit abliefern werden.«

Dícenle: á los malos destruirá miserablemente, y su viña dará á renta á otros labradores, que le paguen el fruto á sus tiempos.

They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

They told him, “He will miserably destroy those miserable men, and will lease out the vineyard to other farmers who will give him the fruit in its season.”

Jesus fuhr fort: »Habt ihr noch niemals in den (heiligen) Schriften das Wort gelesen: ›Der Stein, den die Bauleute verworfen hatten, der ist zum Eckstein geworden; durch den Herrn ist er das geworden, und ein Wunder ist er in unsern Augen‹?

Díceles Jesús: ¿Nunca leísteis en las Escrituras: La piedra que desecharon los que edificaban, ésta fué hecha por cabeza de esquina: por el Señor es hecho esto, y es cosa maravillosa en nuestros ojos?

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

Jesus said to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures, ‘The stone which the builders rejected was made the head of the corner. This was from the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes’?

Deshalb sage ich euch: Das Reich Gottes wird euch genommen und einem Volke gegeben werden, das dessen Früchte bringt.

Por tanto os digo, que el reino de Dios será quitado de vosotros, y será dado á gente que haga los frutos de él.

Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

“Therefore I tell you, God’s Kingdom will be taken away from you and will be given to a nation producing its fruit.

†Und wer auf diesen Stein fällt, wird zerschmettert werden; auf wen aber (der Stein) fällt, den wird er zermalmen.«

Y el que cayere sobre esta piedra, será quebrantado; y sobre quien ella cayere, le desmenuzará.

And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but on whomever it will fall, it will scatter him as dust.”

Als die Hohenpriester und Pharisäer seine Gleichnisse hörten, merkten sie, daß er von ihnen redete;

Y oyendo los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los Fariseos sus parábolas, entendieron que hablaba de ellos.

And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.

darum hätten sie ihn am liebsten festgenommen, fürchteten sich aber vor der Volksmenge, weil die ihn für einen Propheten hielt.

Y buscando cómo echarle mano, temieron al pueblo; porque le tenían por profeta.

But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

When they sought to seize him, they feared the multitudes, because they considered him to be a prophet.
