Mateo 21

E quando furon vicini a Gerusalemme e furon giunti a Betfage, presso al monte degli Ulivi, Gesù mandò due discepoli,

Y COMO se acercaron á Jerusalem, y vinieron á Bethfagé, al monte de las Olivas, entonces Jesús envió dos discípulos,

And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

When they came near to Jerusalem and came to Bethsphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,

dicendo loro: Andate nella borgata che è dirimpetto a voi; e subito troverete un’asina legata, e un puledro con essa; scioglieteli e menatemeli.

Diciéndoles: Id á la aldea que está delante de vosotros, y luego hallaréis una asna atada, y un pollino con ella: desatadla, y traédmelos.

Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

saying to them, “Go into the village that is opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me.

E se alcuno vi dice qualcosa, direte che il Signore ne ha bisogno, e subito li manderà.

Y si alguno os dijere algo, decid: El Señor los ha menester. Y luego los dejará.

And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.

If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and immediately he will send them.”

Or questo avvenne affinché si adempisse la parola del profeta:

Y todo esto fué hecho, para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por el profeta, que dijo:

All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

Dite alla figliuola di Sion: Ecco il tuo re viene a te, mansueto, e montato sopra un’asina, e un asinello, puledro d’asina.

Decid á la hija de Sión: He aquí, tu Rey viene á ti, manso, y sentado sobre una asna, y sobre un pollino, hijo de animal de yugo.

Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

“Tell the daughter of Zion, behold, your King comes to you, humble, and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”

E i discepoli andarono e fecero come Gesù avea loro ordinato;

Y los discípulos fueron, é hicieron como Jesús les mandó;

And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

The disciples went and did just as Jesus commanded them,

menarono l’asina e il puledro, vi misero sopra i loro mantelli, e Gesù vi si pose a sedere.

Y trajeron el asna y el pollino, y pusieron sobre ellos sus mantos; y se sentó sobre ellos.

And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.

and brought the donkey and the colt and laid their clothes on them; and he sat on them.

E la maggior parte della folla stese i mantelli sulla via; e altri tagliavano de’ rami dagli alberi e li stendeano sulla via.

Y la compañía, que era muy numerosa, tendía sus mantos en el camino: y otros cortaban ramos de los árboles, y los tendían por el camino.

And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.

E le turbe che precedevano e quelle che seguivano, gridavano: Osanna al Figliuolo di Davide! Benedetto colui che viene nel nome del Signore! Osanna ne’ luoghi altissimi!

Y las gentes que iban delante, y las que iban detrás, aclamaban diciendo: ¡Hosanna al Hijo de David! ¡Bendito el que viene en el nombre del Señor! ¡Hosanna en las alturas!

And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

The multitudes who went in front of him, and those who followed, kept shouting, “Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

Ed essendo egli entrato in Gerusalemme, tutta la città fu commossa e si diceva:

Y entrando él en Jerusalem, toda la ciudad se alborotó, diciendo: ¿Quién es éste?

And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

When he had come into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred up, saying, “Who is this?”

Chi è costui? E le turbe dicevano: Questi è Gesù, il profeta che è da Nazaret di Galilea.

Y las gentes decían: Este es Jesús, el profeta, de Nazaret de Galilea.

And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

The multitudes said, “This is the prophet, Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee.”

E Gesù entrò nel tempio e cacciò fuori tutti quelli che quivi vendevano e compravano; e rovesciò le tavole dei cambiamonete e le sedie de’ venditori di colombi.

Y entró Jesús en el templo de Dios, y echó fuera todos los que vendían y compraban en el templo, y trastornó las mesas de los cambiadores, y las sillas de los que vendían palomas;

And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

Jesus entered into the temple of God and drove out all of those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the money changers’ tables and the seats of those who sold the doves.

E disse loro: Egli è scritto: La mia casa sarà chiamata casa d’orazione; ma voi ne fate una spelonca di ladroni.

Y les dice: Escrito está: Mi casa, casa de oración será llamada; mas vosotros cueva de ladrones la habéis hecho.

And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a den of robbers!”

Allora vennero a lui, nel tempio, de’ ciechi e degli zoppi, ed egli li sanò.

Entonces vinieron á él ciegos y cojos en el templo, y los sanó.

And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

Ma i capi sacerdoti e gli scribi, vedute le maraviglie che avea fatte, e i fanciulli che gridavano nel tempio: Osanna al figliuol di Davide, ne furono indignati, e gli dissero: Odi tu quel che dicono costoro?

Mas los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los escribas, viendo las maravillas que hacía, y á los muchachos aclamando en el templo y diciendo: ¡Hosanna al Hijo de David! se indignaron,

And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased,

But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children who were crying in the temple and saying, “Hosanna to the son of David!” they were indignant,

E Gesù disse loro: Sì. Non avete mai letto: Dalla bocca de’ fanciulli e de’ lattanti hai tratto lode?

Y le dijeron: ¿Oyes lo que éstos dicen? Y Jesús les dice: Sí: ¿nunca leísteis: De la boca de los niños y de los que maman perfeccionaste la alabanza?

And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

and said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” Jesus said to them, “Yes. Did you never read, ‘Out of the mouth of children and nursing babies, you have perfected praise’?”

E, lasciatili, se ne andò fuor della città a Betania, dove albergò.

Y dejándolos, se salió fuera de la ciudad, á Bethania; y posó allí.

And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.

He left them and went out of the city to Bethany, and camped there.

E la mattina, tornando in città, ebbe fame.

Y por la mañana volviendo á la ciudad, tuvo hambre.

Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

E vedendo un fico sulla strada, gli si accostò, ma non vi trovò altro che delle foglie; e gli disse: Mai più in eterno non nasca frutto da te. E subito il fico si seccò.

Y viendo una higuera cerca del camino, vino á ella, y no halló nada en ella, sino hojas solamente; y le dijo: Nunca más para siempre nazca de ti fruto. Y luego se secó la higuera.

And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

Seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to it, “Let there be no fruit from you forever!” Immediately the fig tree withered away.

E i discepoli, veduto ciò, si maravigliarono, dicendo: Come s’è in un attimo seccato il fico?

Y viendo esto los discípulos, maravillados decían: ¿Cómo se secó luego la higuera?

And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!

When the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree immediately wither away?”

E Gesù, rispondendo, disse loro: Io vi dico in verità: Se aveste fede e non dubitaste, non soltanto fareste quel ch’è stato fatto al fico; ma se anche diceste a questo monte: Togliti di là e gettati nel mare, sarebbe fatto.

Y respondiendo Jesús les dijo: De cierto os digo, que si tuviereis fe, y no dudareis, no sólo haréis esto de la higuera: mas si á este monte dijereis: Quítate y échate en la mar, será hecho.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done.

E tutte le cose che domanderete nella preghiera, se avete fede, le otterrete.

Y todo lo que pidiereis en oración, creyendo, lo recibiréis.

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

E quando fu venuto nel tempio, i capi sacerdoti e gli anziani del popolo si accostarono a lui, mentr’egli insegnava, e gli dissero: Con quale autorità fai tu queste cose? E chi t’ha data codesta autorità?

Y como vino al templo, llegáronse á él cuando estaba enseñando, los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los ancianos del pueblo, diciendo: ¿Con qué autoridad haces esto? ¿y quién te dió esta autoridad?

And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?

When he had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, and said, “By what authority do you do these things? Who gave you this authority?”

E Gesù, rispondendo, disse loro: Anch’io vi domanderò una cosa: e se voi mi rispondete, anch’io vi dirò con quale autorità faccio queste cose.

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Yo también os preguntaré una palabra, la cual si me dijereis, también yo os diré con qué autoridad hago esto.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

Jesus answered them, “I also will ask you one question, which if you tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

Il battesimo di Giovanni, d’onde veniva? dal cielo o dagli uomini? Ed essi ragionavan fra loro, dicendo: Se diciamo: Dal cielo, egli ci dirà: Perché dunque non gli credeste?

El bautismo de Juan, ¿de dónde era? ¿del cielo, ó de los hombres? Ellos entonces pensaron entre sí, diciendo: Si dijéremos, del cielo, nos dirá: ¿Por qué pues no le creísteis?

The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?

The baptism of John, where was it from? From heaven or from men?” They reasoned with themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will ask us, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’

E se diciamo: Dagli uomini, temiamo la moltitudine, perché tutti tengono Giovanni per profeta.

Y si dijéremos, de los hombres, tememos al pueblo; porque todos tienen á Juan por profeta.

But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.

But if we say, ‘From men,’ we fear the multitude, for all hold John as a prophet.”

Risposero dunque a Gesù, dicendo: Non lo sappiamo. E anch’egli disse loro: E neppur io vi dirò con quale autorità io fo queste cose.

Y respondiendo á Jesús, dijeron: No sabemos. Y él también les dijo: Ni yo os digo con qué autoridad hago esto.

And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

They answered Jesus, and said, “We don’t know.” He also said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.

Or che vi par egli? Un uomo avea due figliuoli. Accostatosi al primo disse: Figliuolo, va’ oggi a lavorare nella vigna.

Mas, ¿qué os parece? Un hombre tenía dos hijos, y llegando al primero, le dijo: Hijo, ve hoy á trabajar en mi viña.

But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.

But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first, and said, ‘Son, go work today in my vineyard.’

Ed egli, rispondendo, disse: Vado, signore; ma non vi andò.

Y respondiendo él, dijo: No quiero; mas después, arrepentido, fué.

He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.

He answered, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he changed his mind, and went.

E accostatosi al secondo, gli disse lo stesso. Ma egli, rispondendo, disse: Non voglio; ma poi, pentitosi, v’andò.

Y llegando al otro, le dijo de la misma manera; y respondiendo él, dijo: Yo, señor, voy. Y no fué.

And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.

He came to the second, and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I’m going, sir,’ but he didn’t go.

Qual de’ due fece la volontà del padre? Essi gli dissero: L’ultimo. E Gesù a loro: Io vi dico in verità: I pubblicani e le meretrici vanno innanzi a voi nel regno di Dio.

¿Cuál de los dos hizo la voluntad de su padre? Dicen ellos: El primero. Díceles Jesús: De cierto os digo, que los publicanos y las rameras os van delante al reino de Dios.

Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said to him, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Most certainly I tell you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering into God’s Kingdom before you.

Poiché Giovanni è venuto a voi per la via della giustizia, e voi non gli avete creduto; ma i pubblicani e le meretrici gli hanno creduto; e voi, che avete veduto questo, neppur poi vi siete pentiti per credere a lui.

Porque vino á vosotros Juan en camino de justicia, y no le creísteis; y los publicanos y las rameras le creyeron; y vosotros, viendo esto, no os arrepentisteis después para creerle.

For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.

For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you didn’t believe him; but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. When you saw it, you didn’t even repent afterward, that you might believe him.

Udite un’altra parabola: Vi era un padron di casa, il quale piantò una vigna e le fece attorno una siepe, e vi scavò un luogo da spremer l’uva, e vi edificò una torre; poi l’allogò a de’ lavoratori, e se n’andò in viaggio.

Oid otra parábola: Fué un hombre, padre de familia, el cual plantó una viña; y la cercó de vallado, y cavó en ella un lagar, y edificó una torre, y la dió á renta á labradores, y se partió lejos.

Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:

“Hear another parable. There was a man who was a master of a household who planted a vineyard, set a hedge about it, dug a wine press in it, built a tower, leased it out to farmers, and went into another country.

Or quando fu vicina la stagione de’ frutti, mandò i suoi servitori dai lavoratori per ricevere i frutti della vigna.

Y cuando se acercó el tiempo de los frutos, envió sus siervos á los labradores, para que recibiesen sus frutos.

And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.

When the season for the fruit came near, he sent his servants to the farmers to receive his fruit.

Ma i lavoratori, presi i servitori, uno ne batterono, uno ne uccisero, e un altro ne lapidarono.

Mas los labradores, tomando á los siervos, al uno hirieron, y al otro mataron, y al otro apedrearon.

And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.

The farmers took his servants, beat one, killed another, and stoned another.

Da capo mandò degli altri servitori, in maggior numero de’ primi; e coloro li trattarono nello stesso modo.

Envió de nuevo otros siervos, más que los primeros; é hicieron con ellos de la misma manera.

Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.

Again, he sent other servants more than the first; and they treated them the same way.

Finalmente, mandò loro il suo figliuolo, dicendo: Avranno rispetto al mio figliuolo.

Y á la postre les envió su hijo, diciendo: Tendrán respeto á mi hijo.

But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.

But afterward he sent to them his son, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

Ma i lavoratori, veduto il figliuolo, dissero tra di loro: Costui è l’erede; venite, uccidiamolo, e facciam nostra la sua eredità.

Mas los labradores, viendo al hijo, dijeron entre sí: Este es el heredero; venid, matémosle, y tomemos su heredad.

But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.

But the farmers, when they saw the son, said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and seize his inheritance.’

E presolo, lo cacciaron fuori della vigna, e l’uccisero.

Y tomado, le echaron fuera de la viña, y le mataron.

And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.

So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard, then killed him.

Quando dunque sarà venuto il padron della vigna, che farà egli a que’ lavoratori?

Pues cuando viniere el señor de la viña, ¿qué hará á aquellos labradores?

When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?

When therefore the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those farmers?”

Essi gli risposero: Li farà perir malamente, cotesti scellerati, e allogherà la vigna ad altri lavoratori, i quali gliene renderanno il frutto a suo tempo.

Dícenle: á los malos destruirá miserablemente, y su viña dará á renta á otros labradores, que le paguen el fruto á sus tiempos.

They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

They told him, “He will miserably destroy those miserable men, and will lease out the vineyard to other farmers who will give him the fruit in its season.”

Gesù disse loro: Non avete mai letto nelle Scritture: La pietra che gli edificatori hanno riprovata è quella ch’è divenuta pietra angolare; ciò è stato fatto dal Signore, ed è cosa maravigliosa agli occhi nostri?

Díceles Jesús: ¿Nunca leísteis en las Escrituras: La piedra que desecharon los que edificaban, ésta fué hecha por cabeza de esquina: por el Señor es hecho esto, y es cosa maravillosa en nuestros ojos?

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

Jesus said to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures, ‘The stone which the builders rejected was made the head of the corner. This was from the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes’?

Perciò io vi dico che il Regno di Dio vi sarà tolto, e sarà dato ad una gente che ne faccia i frutti.

Por tanto os digo, que el reino de Dios será quitado de vosotros, y será dado á gente que haga los frutos de él.

Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

“Therefore I tell you, God’s Kingdom will be taken away from you and will be given to a nation producing its fruit.

E chi cadrà su questa pietra sarà sfracellato; ed ella stritolerà colui sul quale cadrà.

Y el que cayere sobre esta piedra, será quebrantado; y sobre quien ella cayere, le desmenuzará.

And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but on whomever it will fall, it will scatter him as dust.”

E i capi sacerdoti e i Farisei, udite le sue parabole, si avvidero che parlava di loro;

Y oyendo los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los Fariseos sus parábolas, entendieron que hablaba de ellos.

And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.

When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they perceived that he spoke about them.

e cercavano di pigliarlo, ma temettero le turbe, che lo teneano per profeta.

Y buscando cómo echarle mano, temieron al pueblo; porque le tenían por profeta.

But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

When they sought to seize him, they feared the multitudes, because they considered him to be a prophet.
