Und als sie sich Jerusalem näherten und nach Bethphage an den Ölberg kamen, sandte Jesus zwei Jünger

Y COMO se acercaron á Jerusalem, y vinieron á Bethfagé, al monte de las Olivas, entonces Jesús envió dos discípulos,

And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

und sprach zu ihnen: Gehet in den Flecken, der vor euch liegt, und alsbald werdet ihr eine Eselin angebunden finden und ein Füllen bei ihr, die bindet los und führet sie zu mir!

Diciéndoles: Id á la aldea que está delante de vosotros, y luego hallaréis una asna atada, y un pollino con ella: desatadla, y traédmelos.

Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

saying to them, “Go into the village that is opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me.

Und wenn euch jemand etwas sagt, so sprechet: Der Herr bedarf ihrer; dann wird er sie alsbald senden.

Y si alguno os dijere algo, decid: El Señor los ha menester. Y luego los dejará.

And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.

If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and immediately he will send them.”

Das ist aber geschehen, damit erfüllt würde, was durch den Propheten gesagt ist, der da spricht:

Y todo esto fué hecho, para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por el profeta, que dijo:

All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

«Saget der Tochter Zion: Siehe, dein König kommt zu dir, sanftmütig und reitend auf einer Eselin und auf einem Füllen, dem Jungen des Lasttiers.»

Decid á la hija de Sión: He aquí, tu Rey viene á ti, manso, y sentado sobre una asna, y sobre un pollino, hijo de animal de yugo.

Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

“Tell the daughter of Zion, behold, your King comes to you, humble, and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”

Die Jünger aber gingen hin und taten, wie Jesus ihnen befohlen hatte,

Y los discípulos fueron, é hicieron como Jesús les mandó;

And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

und brachten die Eselin und das Füllen und legten ihre Kleider auf sie und setzten ihn darauf.

And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.

Aber die meisten unter dem Volk breiteten ihre Kleider auf den Weg; andere hieben Zweige von den Bäumen und streuten sie auf den Weg.

Y la compañía, que era muy numerosa, tendía sus mantos en el camino: y otros cortaban ramos de los árboles, y los tendían por el camino.

And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.

Und das Volk, das vorausging, und die, welche nachfolgten, schrieen und sprachen: Hosianna dem Sohne Davids! Gelobt sei, der da kommt im Namen des Herrn! Hosianna in der Höhe!

Y las gentes que iban delante, y las que iban detrás, aclamaban diciendo: ¡Hosanna al Hijo de David! ¡Bendito el que viene en el nombre del Señor! ¡Hosanna en las alturas!

And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

The multitudes who went in front of him, and those who followed, kept shouting, “Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

Und als er in Jerusalem einzog, kam die ganze Stadt in Bewegung und sprach: Wer ist der?

Y entrando él en Jerusalem, toda la ciudad se alborotó, diciendo: ¿Quién es éste?

And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

When he had come into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred up, saying, “Who is this?”

Das Volk aber sagte: Das ist Jesus, der Prophet von Nazareth in Galiläa!

Y las gentes decían: Este es Jesús, el profeta, de Nazaret de Galilea.

And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

The multitudes said, “This is the prophet, Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee.”

Und Jesus ging in den Tempel Gottes hinein und trieb alle hinaus, die im Tempel verkauften und kauften, und stieß die Tische der Wechsler um und die Stühle derer, welche Tauben verkauften.

Y entró Jesús en el templo de Dios, y echó fuera todos los que vendían y compraban en el templo, y trastornó las mesas de los cambiadores, y las sillas de los que vendían palomas;

And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

Jesus entered into the temple of God and drove out all of those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the money changers’ tables and the seats of those who sold the doves.

Und er sprach zu ihnen: Es steht geschrieben: «Mein Haus soll ein Bethaus heißen!» Ihr aber macht es zu einer Räuberhöhle.

Y les dice: Escrito está: Mi casa, casa de oración será llamada; mas vosotros cueva de ladrones la habéis hecho.

And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a den of robbers!”

Und es kamen Blinde und Lahme im Tempel zu ihm, und er heilte sie.

Entonces vinieron á él ciegos y cojos en el templo, y los sanó.

And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

Als aber die Hohenpriester und die Schriftgelehrten die Wunder sahen, die er tat, und die Kinder hörten, die im Tempel schrieen und sprachen: Hosianna dem Sohne Davids! wurden sie entrüstet

Mas los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los escribas, viendo las maravillas que hacía, y á los muchachos aclamando en el templo y diciendo: ¡Hosanna al Hijo de David! se indignaron,

und sprachen zu ihm: Hörst du, was diese sagen? Jesus aber sprach zu ihnen: Ja! Habt ihr noch nie gelesen: «Aus dem Munde der Unmündigen und Säuglinge hast du ein Lob bereitet»?

Y le dijeron: ¿Oyes lo que éstos dicen? Y Jesús les dice: Sí: ¿nunca leísteis: De la boca de los niños y de los que maman perfeccionaste la alabanza?

And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

and said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” Jesus said to them, “Yes. Did you never read, ‘Out of the mouth of children and nursing babies, you have perfected praise’?”

Und er verließ sie, ging zur Stadt hinaus nach Bethanien und übernachtete daselbst.

Y dejándolos, se salió fuera de la ciudad, á Bethania; y posó allí.

And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.

He left them and went out of the city to Bethany, and camped there.

Da er aber des Morgens früh in die Stadt zurückkehrte, hungerte ihn.

Y por la mañana volviendo á la ciudad, tuvo hambre.

Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

Und als er einen einzelnen Feigenbaum am Wege sah, ging er zu ihm hin und fand nichts daran als nur Blätter. Da sprach er zu ihm: Nun komme von dir keine Frucht mehr in Ewigkeit! Und auf der Stelle verdorrte der Feigenbaum.

Y viendo una higuera cerca del camino, vino á ella, y no halló nada en ella, sino hojas solamente; y le dijo: Nunca más para siempre nazca de ti fruto. Y luego se secó la higuera.

And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

Seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to it, “Let there be no fruit from you forever!” Immediately the fig tree withered away.

Und als die Jünger es sahen, verwunderten sie sich und sprachen: Wie ist der Feigenbaum so plötzlich verdorrt?

Y viendo esto los discípulos, maravillados decían: ¿Cómo se secó luego la higuera?

And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!

When the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree immediately wither away?”

Jesus aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wenn ihr Glauben habt und nicht zweifelt, so werdet ihr nicht nur tun, was mit dem Feigenbaum geschah, sondern auch, wenn ihr zu diesem Berge sagt: Hebe dich und wirf dich ins Meer! so wird es geschehen.

Y respondiendo Jesús les dijo: De cierto os digo, que si tuviereis fe, y no dudareis, no sólo haréis esto de la higuera: mas si á este monte dijereis: Quítate y échate en la mar, será hecho.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done.

Und alles, was ihr gläubig erbittet im Gebet, werdet ihr empfangen.

Y todo lo que pidiereis en oración, creyendo, lo recibiréis.

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

Und als er in den Tempel kam, traten die Hohenpriester und die Ältesten des Volkes zu ihm, während er lehrte, und sprachen: In welcher Vollmacht tust du das, und wer hat dir diese Vollmacht gegeben?

Y como vino al templo, llegáronse á él cuando estaba enseñando, los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los ancianos del pueblo, diciendo: ¿Con qué autoridad haces esto? ¿y quién te dió esta autoridad?

And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?

When he had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, and said, “By what authority do you do these things? Who gave you this authority?”

Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Ich will euch auch etwas fragen; wenn ihr mir darauf antwortet, will auch ich euch sagen, in welcher Vollmacht ich solches tue.

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Yo también os preguntaré una palabra, la cual si me dijereis, también yo os diré con qué autoridad hago esto.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

Jesus answered them, “I also will ask you one question, which if you tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

Woher war die Taufe des Johannes? Vom Himmel oder von Menschen? Da überlegten sie bei sich selbst und sprachen: Wenn wir sagen: Vom Himmel, so wird er uns fragen: Warum habt ihr ihm denn nicht geglaubt?

El bautismo de Juan, ¿de dónde era? ¿del cielo, ó de los hombres? Ellos entonces pensaron entre sí, diciendo: Si dijéremos, del cielo, nos dirá: ¿Por qué pues no le creísteis?

The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?

Wenn wir aber sagen: Von Menschen, so müssen wir das Volk fürchten, denn alle halten Johannes für einen Propheten.

Y si dijéremos, de los hombres, tememos al pueblo; porque todos tienen á Juan por profeta.

But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.

But if we say, ‘From men,’ we fear the multitude, for all hold John as a prophet.”

Und sie antworteten Jesus und sprachen: Wir wissen es nicht! Da sprach er zu ihnen: So sage ich euch auch nicht, in welcher Vollmacht ich solches tue.

Y respondiendo á Jesús, dijeron: No sabemos. Y él también les dijo: Ni yo os digo con qué autoridad hago esto.

And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

They answered Jesus, and said, “We don’t know.” He also said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.

Was dünkt euch aber? Ein Mensch hatte zwei Söhne. Und er ging zu dem ersten und sprach: Sohn, mache dich auf und arbeite heute in meinem Weinberg!

Mas, ¿qué os parece? Un hombre tenía dos hijos, y llegando al primero, le dijo: Hijo, ve hoy á trabajar en mi viña.

But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.

But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first, and said, ‘Son, go work today in my vineyard.’

Der aber antwortete und sprach: Ich will nicht! Hernach aber reute es ihn, und er ging.

Y respondiendo él, dijo: No quiero; mas después, arrepentido, fué.

He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.

He answered, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he changed his mind, and went.

Als aber der Vater zu dem andern dasselbe sagte, antwortete dieser und sprach: Ja, Herr! und ging nicht.

Y llegando al otro, le dijo de la misma manera; y respondiendo él, dijo: Yo, señor, voy. Y no fué.

And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.

He came to the second, and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I’m going, sir,’ but he didn’t go.

Welcher von diesen beiden hat den Willen des Vaters getan? Sie sprachen zu ihm: Der erste. Da spricht Jesus zu ihnen: Wahrlich, ich sage euch, die Zöllner und die Huren kommen eher ins Reich Gottes als ihr!

¿Cuál de los dos hizo la voluntad de su padre? Dicen ellos: El primero. Díceles Jesús: De cierto os digo, que los publicanos y las rameras os van delante al reino de Dios.

Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said to him, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Most certainly I tell you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering into God’s Kingdom before you.

Denn Johannes ist zu euch gekommen mit dem Wege der Gerechtigkeit, und ihr glaubtet ihm nicht. Die Zöllner und die Huren aber glaubten ihm; und obwohl ihr es sahet, reute es euch nicht einmal nachträglich, so daß ihr ihm geglaubt hättet.

Porque vino á vosotros Juan en camino de justicia, y no le creísteis; y los publicanos y las rameras le creyeron; y vosotros, viendo esto, no os arrepentisteis después para creerle.

For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.

For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you didn’t believe him; but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. When you saw it, you didn’t even repent afterward, that you might believe him.

Höret ein anderes Gleichnis: Es war ein Hausherr, der pflanzte einen Weinberg, zog einen Zaun darum, grub eine Kelter darin, baute einen Wachtturm, verpachtete ihn an Weingärtner und reiste ab.

Oid otra parábola: Fué un hombre, padre de familia, el cual plantó una viña; y la cercó de vallado, y cavó en ella un lagar, y edificó una torre, y la dió á renta á labradores, y se partió lejos.

Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:

“Hear another parable. There was a man who was a master of a household who planted a vineyard, set a hedge about it, dug a wine press in it, built a tower, leased it out to farmers, and went into another country.

Als nun die Zeit der Früchte nahte, sandte er seine Knechte zu den Weingärtnern, um seine Früchte in Empfang zu nehmen.

Y cuando se acercó el tiempo de los frutos, envió sus siervos á los labradores, para que recibiesen sus frutos.

And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.

When the season for the fruit came near, he sent his servants to the farmers to receive his fruit.

Aber die Weingärtner ergriffen seine Knechte und schlugen den einen, den andern töteten sie, den dritten steinigten sie.

Mas los labradores, tomando á los siervos, al uno hirieron, y al otro mataron, y al otro apedrearon.

And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.

The farmers took his servants, beat one, killed another, and stoned another.

Da sandte er wieder andere Knechte, mehr denn zuvor; und sie behandelten sie ebenso.

Envió de nuevo otros siervos, más que los primeros; é hicieron con ellos de la misma manera.

Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.

Zuletzt sandte er seinen Sohn zu ihnen und sprach: Sie werden sich vor meinem Sohne scheuen.

Y á la postre les envió su hijo, diciendo: Tendrán respeto á mi hijo.

But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.

But afterward he sent to them his son, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

Als aber die Weingärtner den Sohn sahen, sprachen sie untereinander: Das ist der Erbe; kommt, laßt uns ihn töten und sein Erbgut behalten!

Mas los labradores, viendo al hijo, dijeron entre sí: Este es el heredero; venid, matémosle, y tomemos su heredad.

But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.

But the farmers, when they saw the son, said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and seize his inheritance.’

Und sie nahmen ihn, stießen ihn zum Weinberg hinaus und töteten ihn.

Y tomado, le echaron fuera de la viña, y le mataron.

And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.

So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard, then killed him.

Wenn nun der Herr des Weinbergs kommt, was wird er mit diesen Weingärtnern tun?

Pues cuando viniere el señor de la viña, ¿qué hará á aquellos labradores?

When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?

When therefore the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those farmers?”

Sie sprachen zu ihm: Er wird die Übeltäter übel umbringen und den Weinberg andern Weingärtnern verpachten, welche ihm die Früchte zu ihrer Zeit abliefern werden.

Dícenle: á los malos destruirá miserablemente, y su viña dará á renta á otros labradores, que le paguen el fruto á sus tiempos.

They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

They told him, “He will miserably destroy those miserable men, and will lease out the vineyard to other farmers who will give him the fruit in its season.”

Jesus spricht zu ihnen: Habt ihr noch nie gelesen in der Schrift: «Der Stein, den die Bauleute verworfen haben, ist zum Eckstein geworden. Das ist vom Herrn geschehen, und es ist wunderbar in unsern Augen»?

Díceles Jesús: ¿Nunca leísteis en las Escrituras: La piedra que desecharon los que edificaban, ésta fué hecha por cabeza de esquina: por el Señor es hecho esto, y es cosa maravillosa en nuestros ojos?

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

Jesus said to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures, ‘The stone which the builders rejected was made the head of the corner. This was from the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes’?

Darum sage ich euch: Das Reich Gottes wird von euch genommen und einem Volke gegeben werden, das dessen Früchte bringt.

Por tanto os digo, que el reino de Dios será quitado de vosotros, y será dado á gente que haga los frutos de él.

Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

“Therefore I tell you, God’s Kingdom will be taken away from you and will be given to a nation producing its fruit.

Y el que cayere sobre esta piedra, será quebrantado; y sobre quien ella cayere, le desmenuzará.

And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but on whomever it will fall, it will scatter him as dust.”

(21-44) Und als die Hohenpriester und die Pharisäer seine Gleichnisse hörten, merkten sie, daß er von ihnen redete.

Y oyendo los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los Fariseos sus parábolas, entendieron que hablaba de ellos.

And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.

When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they perceived that he spoke about them.

(21-45) Und sie suchten ihn zu ergreifen, fürchteten aber das Volk, weil es ihn für einen Propheten hielt.

Y buscando cómo echarle mano, temieron al pueblo; porque le tenían por profeta.

But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

When they sought to seize him, they feared the multitudes, because they considered him to be a prophet.
