Ai de vós, escribas e fariseus, hipócritas! Pois dais o dízimo da hortelã, do endro e do cominho, mas deixais os preceitos mais importantes da Lei: justiça, misericórdia e fé. Mas deveis fazer essas coisas sem omitir aquelas.
¡Ay de vosotros, escribas y Fariseos, hipócritas! porque diezmáis la menta y el eneldo y el comino, y dejasteis lo que es lo más grave de la ley, es á saber, el juicio y la misericordia y la fe: esto era menester hacer, y no dejar lo otro.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
