¡Ay de vosotros, escribas y fariseos hipócritas, que pagáis diezmo hasta de la hierbabuena y del anís y del comino y habéis abandonado las cosas más esenciales de la ley: La justicia, la misericordia y la buena fe! Estas debierais observar, sin omitir aquéllas.
¡Ay de vosotros, escribas y Fariseos, hipócritas! porque diezmáis la menta y el eneldo y el comino, y dejasteis lo que es lo más grave de la ley, es á saber, el juicio y la misericordia y la fe: esto era menester hacer, y no dejar lo otro.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
