Toutes les choses donc qu’ils vous diront, faites-les et observez-les ; mais ne faites pas selon leurs œuvres, car ils disent et ne font pas ;
Así que, todo lo que os dijeren que guardéis, guardadlo y hacedlo; mas no hagáis conforme á sus obras: porque dicen, y no hacen.
All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
All things therefore whatever they tell you to observe, observe and do, but don’t do their works; for they say, and don’t do.
mais ils lient des fardeaux pesants et difficiles à porter, et les mettent sur les épaules des hommes, mais eux, ils ne veulent pas les remuer de leur doigt.
Porque atan cargas pesadas y difíciles de llevar, y las ponen sobre los hombros de los hombres; mas ni aun con su dedo las quieren mover.
For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

Et ils font toutes leurs œuvres pour être vus des hommes ; car ils élargissent leurs phylactères et donnent plus de largeur aux franges de leurs vêtements,
Antes, todas sus obras hacen para ser mirados de los hombres; porque ensanchan sus filacterias, y extienden los flecos de sus mantos;
But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,

et ils aiment la première place dans les repas et les premiers sièges dans les synagogues,
Y aman los primeros asientos en las cenas, y las primeras sillas en las sinagogas;
And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
and love the place of honor at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues,
et les salutations dans les places publiques, et à être appelés par les hommes : Rabbi, Rabbi !

And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.

Mais vous, ne soyez pas appelés : Rabbi ; car un seul est votre conducteur, le Christ ; et vous, vous êtes tous frères.
Mas vosotros, no queráis ser llamados Rabbí; porque uno es vuestro Maestro, el Cristo; y todos vosotros sois hermanos.
But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi’, for one is your teacher, the Christ, and all of you are brothers.
Et n’appelez personne sur la terre votre père ; car un seul est votre père, celui qui est dans les cieux.
Y vuestro padre no llaméis á nadie en la tierra; porque uno es vuestro Padre, el cual está en los cielos.
And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Call no man on the earth your father, for one is your Father, he who is in heaven.
Ne soyez pas non plus appelés conducteurs ; car un seul est votre conducteur, le Christ.

Mais le plus grand de vous sera votre serviteur.

Et quiconque s’élèvera sera abaissé ; et quiconque s’abaissera sera élevé.
Porque el que se ensalzare, será humillado; y el que se humillare, será ensalzado.
And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
Mais malheur à vous, scribes et pharisiens hypocrites ! car vous fermez le royaume des cieux devant les hommes ; car vous n’entrez pas vous-mêmes, ni ne permettez à ceux qui entrent, d’entrer.
Mas ¡ay de vosotros, escribas y Fariseos, hipócritas! porque cerráis el reino de los cielos delante de los hombres; que ni vosotros entráis, ni á los que están entrando dejáis entrar.
But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and as a pretense you make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.

¡Ay de vosotros, escribas y Fariseos, hipócritas! porque coméis las casas de las viudas, y por pretexto hacéis larga oración: por esto llevaréis más grave juicio.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven against men; for you don’t enter in yourselves, neither do you allow those who are entering in to enter.
Malheur à vous, scribes et pharisiens hypocrites ! car vous parcourez la mer et la terre pour faire un prosélyte ; et quand il l’est devenu, vous le rendez fils de la géhenne deux fois plus que vous.
¡Ay de vosotros, escribas y Fariseos, hipócritas! porque rodeáis la mar y la tierra por hacer un prosélito; y cuando fuere hecho, le hacéis hijo del infierno doble más que vosotros.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel around by sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of Gehenna as yourselves.
Malheur à vous, guides aveugles, qui dites : Quiconque aura juré par le temple, ce n’est rien ; mais quiconque aura juré par l’or du temple, est obligé.
¡Ay de vosotros, guías ciegos! que decís: Cualquiera que jurare por el templo es nada; mas cualquiera que jurare por el oro del templo, deudor es.
Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!
“Woe to you, you blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obligated.’
Fous et aveugles ! car lequel est le plus grand, ou l’or, ou le temple qui sanctifie l’or ?
¡Insensatos y ciegos! porque ¿cuál es mayor, el oro, ó el templo que santifica al oro?
Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
You blind fools! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold?
Et quiconque aura juré par l’autel, ce n’est rien ; mais quiconque aura juré par le don qui est dessus, est obligé.
Y: Cualquiera que jurare por el altar, es nada; mas cualquiera que jurare por el presente que está sobre él, deudor es.
And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.
And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obligated.’
Aveugles ! car lequel est le plus grand, ou le don, ou l’autel qui sanctifie le don ?
¡Necios y ciegos! porque, ¿cuál es mayor, el presente, ó el altar que santifica al presente?
Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
You blind fools! For which is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift?
Celui donc qui jure par l’autel, jure par l’autel et par toutes les choses qui sont dessus ;
Pues el que jurare por el altar, jura por él, y por todo lo que está sobre él;
Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.
He therefore who swears by the altar, swears by it and by everything on it.
et celui qui jure par le temple jure par le temple et par celui qui y habite ;
Y el que jurare por el templo, jura por él, y por Aquél que habita en él;
And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.

et celui qui jure par le ciel, jure par le trône de Dieu et par celui qui est assis dessus.
Y el que jura por el cielo, jura por el trono de Dios, y por Aquél que está sentado sobre él.
And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.
He who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God and by him who sits on it.
Malheur à vous, scribes et pharisiens hypocrites ! car vous payez la dîme de la menthe et de l’aneth et du cumin, et vous avez laissé les choses plus importantes de la loi, le jugement et la miséricorde et la fidélité ; il fallait faire ces choses-ci, et ne pas laisser celles-là.
¡Ay de vosotros, escribas y Fariseos, hipócritas! porque diezmáis la menta y el eneldo y el comino, y dejasteis lo que es lo más grave de la ley, es á saber, el juicio y la misericordia y la fe: esto era menester hacer, y no dejar lo otro.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint, dill, and cumin, and have left undone the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faith. But you ought to have done these, and not to have left the other undone.
Guides aveugles, qui coulez le moucheron et qui avalez le chameau !
¡Guías ciegos, que coláis el mosquito, mas tragáis el camello!
Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
You blind guides, who strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel!
Malheur à vous, scribes et pharisiens hypocrites ! car vous nettoyez le dehors de la coupe et du plat ; mais au-dedans, ils sont pleins de rapine et d’intempérance.
¡Ay de vosotros, escribas y Fariseos, hipócritas! porque limpiáis lo que está de fuera del vaso y del plato; mas de dentro están llenos de robo y de injusticia.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and unrighteousness.
Pharisien aveugle ! nettoie premièrement le dedans de la coupe et du plat, afin que le dehors aussi soit net.
¡Fariseo ciego, limpia primero lo de dentro del vaso y del plato, para que también lo de fuera se haga limpio!
Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the platter, that its outside may become clean also.
Malheur à vous, scribes et pharisiens hypocrites ! car vous ressemblez à des sépulcres blanchis, qui paraissent beaux au-dehors, mais qui, au-dedans, sont pleins d’ossements de morts et de toute sorte d’impureté.
¡Ay de vosotros, escribas y Fariseos, hipócritas! porque sois semejantes á sepulcros blanqueados, que de fuera, á la verdad, se muestran hermosos, mas de dentro están llenos de huesos de muertos y de toda suciedad.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitened tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inwardly are full of dead men’s bones and of all uncleanness.
Ainsi, vous aussi, au-dehors vous paraissez justes aux hommes, mais au-dedans vous êtes pleins d’hypocrisie et d’iniquité.

¡Ay de vosotros, escribas y Fariseos, hipócritas! porque edificáis los sepulcros de los profetas, y adornáis los monumentos de los justos,
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets and decorate the tombs of the righteous,
et vous dites : Si nous avions été dans les jours de nos pères, nous n’aurions pas pris part avec eux au sang des prophètes ;
Y decís: Si fuéramos en los días de nuestros padres, no hubiéramos sido sus compañeros en la sangre de los profetas.
And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.

en sorte que vous êtes témoins contre vous-mêmes que vous êtes les fils de ceux qui ont tué les prophètes ;
Así que, testimonio dais á vosotros mismos, que sois hijos de aquellos que mataron á los profetas.
Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
Therefore you testify to yourselves that you are children of those who killed the prophets.
et vous, – comblez la mesure de vos pères !
¡Vosotros también henchid la medida de vuestros padres!
Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.

Serpents, race de vipères ! comment échapperez-vous au jugement de la géhenne ?
¡Serpientes, generación de víboras! ¿cómo evitaréis el juicio del infierno?
Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
You serpents, you offspring of vipers, how will you escape the judgment of Gehenna?
C’est pourquoi voici, moi, je vous envoie des prophètes, et des sages, et des scribes ; et vous en tuerez et vous en crucifierez, et vous en fouetterez dans vos synagogues, et vous les persécuterez de ville en ville,
Por tanto, he aquí, yo envío á vosotros profetas, y sabios, y escribas: y de ellos, á unos mataréis y crucificaréis, y á otros de ellos azotaréis en vuestras sinagogas, y perseguiréis de ciudad en ciudad:
Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

Para que venga sobre vosotros toda la sangre justa que se ha derramado sobre la tierra, desde la sangre de Abel el justo, hasta la sangre de Zacarías, hijo de Barachîas, al cual matasteis entre el templo y el altar.
That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zachariah son of Barachiah, whom you killed between the sanctuary and the altar.
En vérité, je vous dis : toutes ces choses viendront sur cette génération.
De cierto os digo que todo esto vendrá sobre esta generación.
Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
Most certainly I tell you, all these things will come upon this generation.
Jérusalem, Jérusalem, la ville qui tue les prophètes et qui lapide ceux qui lui sont envoyés, que de fois j’ai voulu rassembler tes enfants comme une poule rassemble ses poussins sous ses ailes, et vous ne l’avez pas voulu !
¡Jerusalem, Jerusalem, que matas á los profetas, y apedreas á los que son enviados á ti! ¡cuántas veces quise juntar tus hijos, como la gallina junta sus pollos debajo de las alas, y no quisiste!
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!
Voici, votre maison vous est laissée déserte,
He aquí vuestra casa os es dejada desierta.
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
Behold, your house is left to you desolate.
car je vous dis : Vous ne me verrez plus désormais, jusqu’à ce que vous disiez : Béni soit celui qui vient au nom du ✶Seigneur !
Porque os digo que desde ahora no me veréis, hasta que digáis: Bendito el que viene en el nombre del Señor.
For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
For I tell you, you will not see me from now on, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’”
