Alles nun, was sie euch sagen, das tut und haltet; aber nach ihren Werken tut nicht; denn sie sagen es wohl, tun es aber nicht.
Así que, todo lo que os dijeren que guardéis, guardadlo y hacedlo; mas no hagáis conforme á sus obras: porque dicen, y no hacen.
All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
All things therefore whatever they tell you to observe, observe and do, but don’t do their works; for they say, and don’t do.
Sie binden aber schwere und kaum erträgliche Bürden und legen sie den Menschen auf die Schultern; sie selbst aber wollen sie nicht mit einem Finger berühren.
Porque atan cargas pesadas y difíciles de llevar, y las ponen sobre los hombros de los hombres; mas ni aun con su dedo las quieren mover.
For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

Alle ihre Werke aber tun sie, um von den Leuten gesehen zu werden. Sie machen ihre Denkzettel breit und die Säume an ihren Kleidern groß
Antes, todas sus obras hacen para ser mirados de los hombres; porque ensanchan sus filacterias, y extienden los flecos de sus mantos;
But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,

und lieben den obersten Platz bei den Mahlzeiten und den Vorsitz in den Synagogen
Y aman los primeros asientos en las cenas, y las primeras sillas en las sinagogas;
And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
and love the place of honor at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues,
und die Begrüßungen auf den Märkten und wenn sie von den Leuten Rabbi genannt werden!

Ihr aber sollt euch nicht Rabbi nennen lassen, denn einer ist euer Meister, Christus; ihr aber seid alle Brüder.
Mas vosotros, no queráis ser llamados Rabbí; porque uno es vuestro Maestro, el Cristo; y todos vosotros sois hermanos.
But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi’, for one is your teacher, the Christ, and all of you are brothers.
Nennet auch niemand auf Erden euren Vater; denn einer ist euer Vater, der himmlische.
Y vuestro padre no llaméis á nadie en la tierra; porque uno es vuestro Padre, el cual está en los cielos.
And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Call no man on the earth your father, for one is your Father, he who is in heaven.
Auch sollt ihr euch nicht Lehrer nennen lassen; denn einer ist euer Lehrer, Christus.

Der Größte aber unter euch soll euer Diener sein.
El que es el mayor de vosotros, sea vuestro siervo.
But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.

Wer sich aber selbst erhöht, der wird erniedrigt werden, und wer sich selbst erniedrigt, der wird erhöht werden.
Porque el que se ensalzare, será humillado; y el que se humillare, será ensalzado.
And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
Aber wehe euch, Schriftgelehrte und Pharisäer, ihr Heuchler, daß ihr das Himmelreich vor den Menschen zuschließet! Ihr selbst geht nicht hinein, und die hinein wollen, die laßt ihr nicht hinein.
Mas ¡ay de vosotros, escribas y Fariseos, hipócritas! porque cerráis el reino de los cielos delante de los hombres; que ni vosotros entráis, ni á los que están entrando dejáis entrar.
But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and as a pretense you make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.
Wehe euch, Schriftgelehrte und Pharisäer, ihr Heuchler, daß ihr der Witwen Häuser fresset und zum Schein lange betet. Darum werdet ihr ein schwereres Gericht empfangen!
¡Ay de vosotros, escribas y Fariseos, hipócritas! porque coméis las casas de las viudas, y por pretexto hacéis larga oración: por esto llevaréis más grave juicio.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven against men; for you don’t enter in yourselves, neither do you allow those who are entering in to enter.
Wehe euch, Schriftgelehrte und Pharisäer, ihr Heuchler, daß ihr Meer und Land durchziehet, um einen einzigen Judengenossen zu machen, und wenn er es geworden ist, macht ihr ein Kind der Hölle aus ihm, zwiefältig mehr, als ihr seid!
¡Ay de vosotros, escribas y Fariseos, hipócritas! porque rodeáis la mar y la tierra por hacer un prosélito; y cuando fuere hecho, le hacéis hijo del infierno doble más que vosotros.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel around by sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of Gehenna as yourselves.
Wehe euch, ihr blinden Führer, die ihr saget: Wer beim Tempel schwört, das gilt nichts; wer aber beim Gold des Tempels schwört, der ist gebunden.
¡Ay de vosotros, guías ciegos! que decís: Cualquiera que jurare por el templo es nada; mas cualquiera que jurare por el oro del templo, deudor es.
Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!
“Woe to you, you blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obligated.’
Ihr Narren und Blinde, was ist denn größer, das Gold oder der Tempel, der das Gold heiligt?
¡Insensatos y ciegos! porque ¿cuál es mayor, el oro, ó el templo que santifica al oro?
Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
You blind fools! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold?
Und: Wer beim Brandopferaltar schwört, das gilt nichts; wer aber beim Opfer schwört, welches darauf liegt, der ist gebunden.
Y: Cualquiera que jurare por el altar, es nada; mas cualquiera que jurare por el presente que está sobre él, deudor es.
And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.
And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obligated.’
Ihr Blinden! Was ist denn größer, das Opfer oder der Brandopferaltar, der das Opfer heiligt?
¡Necios y ciegos! porque, ¿cuál es mayor, el presente, ó el altar que santifica al presente?
Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
You blind fools! For which is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift?
Darum, wer beim Altar schwört, der schwört bei ihm und bei allem, was darauf ist.
Pues el que jurare por el altar, jura por él, y por todo lo que está sobre él;
Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.
He therefore who swears by the altar, swears by it and by everything on it.
Und wer beim Tempel schwört, der schwört bei ihm und bei dem, der darin wohnt.

Und wer beim Himmel schwört, der schwört bei dem Throne Gottes und bei dem, der darauf sitzt.
Y el que jura por el cielo, jura por el trono de Dios, y por Aquél que está sentado sobre él.
And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.
He who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God and by him who sits on it.
Wehe euch, Schriftgelehrte und Pharisäer, ihr Heuchler, daß ihr die Minze und den Anis und den Kümmel verzehntet und das Wichtigere im Gesetz vernachlässiget, nämlich das Gericht und das Erbarmen und den Glauben! Dies sollte man tun und jenes nicht lassen.
¡Ay de vosotros, escribas y Fariseos, hipócritas! porque diezmáis la menta y el eneldo y el comino, y dejasteis lo que es lo más grave de la ley, es á saber, el juicio y la misericordia y la fe: esto era menester hacer, y no dejar lo otro.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint, dill, and cumin, and have left undone the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faith. But you ought to have done these, and not to have left the other undone.
Ihr blinden Führer, die ihr Mücken seihet und Kamele verschlucket!
¡Guías ciegos, que coláis el mosquito, mas tragáis el camello!
Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
You blind guides, who strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel!
Wehe euch, Schriftgelehrte und Pharisäer, ihr Heuchler, daß ihr das Äußere des Bechers und der Schüssel reiniget; inwendig aber sind sie voller Raub und Unmäßigkeit!
¡Ay de vosotros, escribas y Fariseos, hipócritas! porque limpiáis lo que está de fuera del vaso y del plato; mas de dentro están llenos de robo y de injusticia.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and unrighteousness.
Du blinder Pharisäer, reinige zuerst das Inwendige des Bechers und der Schüssel, damit auch das Äußere rein werde!
¡Fariseo ciego, limpia primero lo de dentro del vaso y del plato, para que también lo de fuera se haga limpio!
Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the platter, that its outside may become clean also.
Wehe euch, Schriftgelehrte und Pharisäer, ihr Heuchler, daß ihr getünchten Gräbern gleichet, welche auswendig zwar schön scheinen, inwendig aber voller Totengebeine und allen Unrats sind!
¡Ay de vosotros, escribas y Fariseos, hipócritas! porque sois semejantes á sepulcros blanqueados, que de fuera, á la verdad, se muestran hermosos, mas de dentro están llenos de huesos de muertos y de toda suciedad.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitened tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inwardly are full of dead men’s bones and of all uncleanness.
So erscheinet auch ihr äußerlich vor den Menschen als gerecht, inwendig aber seid ihr voller Heuchelei und Gesetzwidrigkeit.
Así también vosotros de fuera, á la verdad, os mostráis justos á los hombres; mas de dentro, llenos estáis de hipocresía é iniquidad.

Wehe euch, Schriftgelehrte und Pharisäer, ihr Heuchler, daß ihr die Gräber der Propheten bauet und die Denkmäler der Gerechten schmücket
¡Ay de vosotros, escribas y Fariseos, hipócritas! porque edificáis los sepulcros de los profetas, y adornáis los monumentos de los justos,
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets and decorate the tombs of the righteous,
und saget: Hätten wir in den Tagen unsrer Väter gelebt, wir hätten uns nicht mit ihnen des Blutes der Propheten schuldig gemacht.
Y decís: Si fuéramos en los días de nuestros padres, no hubiéramos sido sus compañeros en la sangre de los profetas.
And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.

So gebt ihr ja über euch selbst das Zeugnis, daß ihr Söhne der Prophetenmörder seid.
Así que, testimonio dais á vosotros mismos, que sois hijos de aquellos que mataron á los profetas.
Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
Therefore you testify to yourselves that you are children of those who killed the prophets.

Ihr Schlangen! Ihr Otterngezüchte! Wie wollt ihr dem Gerichte der Hölle entgehen?
¡Serpientes, generación de víboras! ¿cómo evitaréis el juicio del infierno?
Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
You serpents, you offspring of vipers, how will you escape the judgment of Gehenna?
Darum, siehe, ich sende zu euch Propheten und Weise und Schriftgelehrte; und etliche von ihnen werdet ihr töten und kreuzigen, und etliche werdet ihr in euren Synagogen geißeln und sie verfolgen von einer Stadt zur andern;
Por tanto, he aquí, yo envío á vosotros profetas, y sabios, y escribas: y de ellos, á unos mataréis y crucificaréis, y á otros de ellos azotaréis en vuestras sinagogas, y perseguiréis de ciudad en ciudad:
Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

auf daß über euch komme alles gerechte Blut, das auf Erden vergossen worden ist, vom Blute Abels, des Gerechten, an bis auf das Blut Zacharias, des Sohnes Barachias, welchen ihr zwischen dem Tempel und dem Altar getötet habt.
Para que venga sobre vosotros toda la sangre justa que se ha derramado sobre la tierra, desde la sangre de Abel el justo, hasta la sangre de Zacarías, hijo de Barachîas, al cual matasteis entre el templo y el altar.
That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zachariah son of Barachiah, whom you killed between the sanctuary and the altar.
Wahrlich, ich sage euch, dies alles wird über dieses Geschlecht kommen.
De cierto os digo que todo esto vendrá sobre esta generación.
Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

Jerusalem, Jerusalem, die du tötest die Propheten und steinigst, die zu dir gesandt sind! Wie oft habe ich deine Kinder sammeln wollen, wie eine Henne ihre Küchlein unter die Flügel sammelt, aber ihr habt nicht gewollt!
¡Jerusalem, Jerusalem, que matas á los profetas, y apedreas á los que son enviados á ti! ¡cuántas veces quise juntar tus hijos, como la gallina junta sus pollos debajo de las alas, y no quisiste!
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!
Siehe, euer Haus wird euch öde gelassen werden;
He aquí vuestra casa os es dejada desierta.
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

denn ich sage euch: Ihr werdet mich von jetzt an nicht mehr sehen, bis ihr sprechen werdet: Gelobt sei, der da kommt im Namen des Herrn!
Porque os digo que desde ahora no me veréis, hasta que digáis: Bendito el que viene en el nombre del Señor.
For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
For I tell you, you will not see me from now on, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’”
