Denn es werden falsche Christi und falsche Propheten aufstehen und grofie Zeichen und Wunder tun, daß verfuhret werden in den Irrtum (wo es moglich ware) auch die Auserwahlten.

Porque se levantarán falsos Cristos, y falsos profetas, y darán señales grandes y prodigios; de tal manera que engañarán, si es posible, aun á los escogidos.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

For false christs and false prophets will arise, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.
