Jesus verließ dann den Tempel und wollte weitergehen; da traten seine Jünger zu ihm heran, um ihn auf den Prachtbau des Tempels aufmerksam zu machen.

Y SALIDO Jesús, íbase del templo; y se llegaron sus discípulos, para mostrarle los edificios del templo.

And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way. His disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.

Er aber antwortete ihnen mit den Worten: »Ja, jetzt seht ihr dies alles noch. Wahrlich ich sage euch: Es wird hier kein Stein auf dem andern bleiben, der nicht niedergerissen wird!«

Y respondiendo él, les dijo: ¿Veis todo esto? de cierto os digo, que no será dejada aquí piedra sobre piedra, que no sea destruída.

And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

But he answered them, “You see all of these things, don’t you? Most certainly I tell you, there will not be left here one stone on another, that will not be thrown down.”

Als er sich dann auf dem Ölberg niedergesetzt hatte, traten die Jünger, als sie für sich allein waren, an ihn mit der Bitte heran: »Sage uns doch: wann wird dies geschehen? Und welches ist das Zeichen deiner Ankunft und der Vollendung der Weltzeit?«

Y sentándose él en el monte de las Olivas, se llegaron á él los discípulos aparte, diciendo: Dinos, ¿cuándo serán estas cosas, y qué señal habrá de tu venida, y del fin del mundo?

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?”

Jesus antwortete ihnen: »Sehet euch vor, daß niemand euch irreführe!

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Mirad que nadie os engañe.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Jesus answered them, “Be careful that no one leads you astray.

Denn viele werden unter meinem Namen kommen und behaupten: ›Ich bin der (wiederkehrende) Christus‹, und werden viele irreführen.

Porque vendrán muchos en mi nombre, diciendo: Yo soy el Cristo; y á muchos engañarán.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will lead many astray.

Ihr werdet ferner von Kriegen und Kriegsgerüchten hören: gebt acht, laßt euch dadurch nicht erschrecken! Denn das muß so kommen, ist aber noch nicht das Ende.

Y oiréis guerras, y rumores de guerras: mirad que no os turbéis; porque es menester que todo esto acontezca; mas aún no es el fin.

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet.

Denn ein Volk wird sich gegen das andere erheben und ein Reich gegen das andere; auch Hungersnöte werden eintreten und Erdbeben hier und da stattfinden;

Porque se levantará nación contra nación, y reino contra reino; y habrá pestilencias, y hambres, y terremotos por los lugares.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places.

dies alles ist aber erst der Anfang der Wehen.«

Y todas estas cosas, principio de dolores.

All these are the beginning of sorrows.

But all these things are the beginning of birth pains.

»Hierauf wird man schwere Drangsale über euch bringen und euch töten, und ihr werdet allen Völkern um meines Namens willen verhaßt sein.

Entonces os entregarán para ser afligidos, y os matarán; y seréis aborrecidos de todas las gentes por causa de mi nombre.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

“Then they will deliver you up to oppression and will kill you. You will be hated by all of the nations for my name’s sake.

Alsdann werden viele Anstoß nehmen und sich einander ausliefern und einander hassen.

Y muchos entonces serán escandalizados; y se entregarán unos á otros, y unos á otros se aborrecerán.

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Then many will stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another.

Auch falsche Propheten werden in großer Zahl auftreten und viele irreführen;

Y muchos falsos profetas se levantarán y engañarán á muchos.

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Many false prophets will arise and will lead many astray.

und weil die Gesetzlosigkeit überhand nimmt, wird die Liebe in den meisten erkalten;

Y por haberse multiplicado la maldad, la caridad de muchos se resfriará.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold.

wer jedoch bis ans Ende ausharrt, der wird gerettet werden.

Mas el que perseverare hasta el fin, éste será salvo.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

But he who endures to the end will be saved.

Und diese Heilsbotschaft vom Reich wird auf dem ganzen Erdkreis allen Völkern zum Zeugnis gepredigt werden, und dann wird das Ende kommen.«

Y será predicado este evangelio del reino en todo el mundo, por testimonio á todos los Gentiles; y entonces vendrá el fin.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

»Wenn ihr nun den Greuel der Verwüstung, der vom Propheten Daniel angesagt worden ist, an heiliger Stätte stehen seht – der Leser merke auf! –,

Por tanto, cuando viereis la abominación del asolamiento, que fué dicha por Daniel profeta, que estará en el lugar santo, (el que lee, entienda),

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

“When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),

dann sollen die (Gläubigen), die in Judäa sind, ins Gebirge fliehen!

Entonces los que están en Judea, huyan á los montes;

Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

Wer sich alsdann auf dem Dache befindet, steige nicht erst noch hinab (ins Haus), um seine Habseligkeiten aus dem Hause zu holen;

Y el que sobre el terrado, no descienda á tomar algo de su casa;

Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take out the things that are in his house.

und wer auf dem Felde weilt, kehre nicht zurück, um sich noch seinen Mantel zu holen.

Y el que en el campo, no vuelva atrás á tomar sus vestidos.

Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

Let him who is in the field not return back to get his clothes.

Wehe aber den Frauen, die guter Hoffnung sind, und denen, die ein Kind in jenen Tagen zu nähren haben!

Mas ¡ay de las preñadas, y de las que crían en aquellos días!

And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

But woe to those who are with child and to nursing mothers in those days!

Betet nur, daß eure Flucht nicht in den Winter oder auf den Sabbat falle!

Orad, pues, que vuestra huída no sea en invierno ni en sábado;

But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

Pray that your flight will not be in the winter nor on a Sabbath,

Denn es wird alsdann eine schlimme Drangsalszeit eintreten, wie noch keine seit Anfang der Welt bis jetzt dagewesen ist und wie auch keine wieder kommen wird;

Porque habrá entonces grande aflicción, cual no fué desde el principio del mundo hasta ahora, ni será.

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

for then there will be great suffering, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be.

und wenn jene Tage nicht verkürzt würden, so würde kein Fleisch gerettet werden; aber um der Auserwählten willen werden jene Tage verkürzt werden.«

Y si aquellos días no fuesen acortados, ninguna carne sería salva; mas por causa de los escogidos, aquellos días serán acortados.

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the sake of the chosen ones, those days will be shortened.

»Wenn dann jemand zu euch sagt: ›Seht, hier ist Christus!‹ oder: ›Dort (ist er)!‹, so glaubt es nicht!

Entonces, si alguno os dijere: He aquí está el Cristo, ó allí, no creáis.

Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

“Then if any man tells you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘There!’ don’t believe it.

Denn es werden falsche Christusse und falsche Propheten auftreten und werden große Zeichen und Wunder verrichten, um womöglich auch die Auserwählten irrezuführen.

Porque se levantarán falsos Cristos, y falsos profetas, y darán señales grandes y prodigios; de tal manera que engañarán, si es posible, aun á los escogidos.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

For false christs and false prophets will arise, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.

Seht, ich habe es euch vorhergesagt. Wenn man also zu euch sagt:

He aquí os lo he dicho antes.

Behold, I have told you before.

“Behold, I have told you beforehand.

›Seht, er ist in der Wüste!‹, so geht nicht hinaus; und (sagt man:) ›Seht, er ist in den Gemächern (dieses oder jenes Hauses)!‹, so glaubt es nicht!

Así que, si os dijeren: He aquí en el desierto está; no salgáis: He aquí en las cámaras; no creáis.

Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

“If therefore they tell you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ don’t go out; or ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ don’t believe it.

Denn wie der Blitz vom Osten ausgeht und bis zum Westen leuchtet, so wird es auch mit der Ankunft des Menschensohnes sein;

Porque como el relámpago que sale del oriente y se muestra hasta el occidente, así será también la venida del Hijo del hombre.

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

denn wo das Aas liegt, da sammeln sich die Geier.«

Porque donde quiera que estuviere el cuerpo muerto, allí se juntarán las águilas.

For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

For wherever the carcass is, that is where the vultures gather together.

»Sogleich aber nach jener Drangsalszeit wird die Sonne sich verfinstern und der Mond seinen Schein verlieren; die Sterne werden vom Himmel fallen und die Kräfte des Himmels in Erschütterung geraten.

Y luego después de la aflicción de aquellos días, el sol se obscurecerá, y la luna no dará su lumbre, y las estrellas caerán del cielo, y las virtudes de los cielos serán conmovidas.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

“But immediately after the suffering of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken;

Und dann wird das Zeichen des Menschensohnes am Himmel erscheinen, und dann werden alle Geschlechter der Erde wehklagen und werden den Menschensohn auf den Wolken des Himmels mit großer Macht und Herrlichkeit kommen sehen.

Y entonces se mostrará la señal del Hijo del hombre en el cielo; y entonces lamentarán todas las tribus de la tierra, y verán al Hijo del hombre que vendrá sobre las nubes del cielo, con grande poder y gloria.

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.

Und er wird seine Engel unter lautem Posaunenschall aussenden, und sie werden seine Auserwählten von den vier Windrichtungen her versammeln, von dem einen Himmelsende bis zum andern.

Y enviará sus ángeles con gran voz de trompeta, y juntarán sus escogidos de los cuatro vientos, de un cabo del cielo hasta el otro.

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

He will send out his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

Vom Feigenbaum aber mögt ihr das Gleichnis lernen: Sobald seine Zweige saftig werden und Blätter hervorwachsen, so erkennt ihr daran, daß der Sommer nahe ist.

De la higuera aprended la parábola: Cuando ya su rama se enternece, y las hojas brotan, sabéis que el verano está cerca.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

“Now from the fig tree learn this parable: When its branch has now become tender and produces its leaves, you know that the summer is near.

So auch ihr: wenn ihr dies alles seht, so erkennet daran, daß es nahe vor der Tür steht.

Así también vosotros, cuando viereis todas estas cosas, sabed que está cercano, á las puertas.

So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

Even so you also, when you see all these things, know that he is near, even at the doors.

Wahrlich ich sage euch: Dieses Geschlecht wird nicht vergehen, bis dies alles geschieht.

De cierto os digo, que no pasará esta generación, que todas estas cosas no acontezcan.

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Most certainly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things are accomplished.

Himmel und Erde werden vergehen, meine Worte aber werden nimmermehr vergehen.

El cielo y la tierra pasarán, mas mis palabras no pasarán.

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

Von jenem Tage aber und von jener Stunde hat niemand Kenntnis, auch die Engel im Himmel nicht, auch der Sohn nicht, sondern ganz allein der Vater.

Empero del día y hora nadie sabe, ni aun los ángeles de los cielos, sino mi Padre solo.

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

“But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Denn wie es einst mit den Tagen Noahs gewesen ist, so wird es auch mit der Wiederkunft des Menschensohnes sein.

Mas como los días de Noé, así será la venida del Hijo del hombre.

But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

As the days of Noah were, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Denn wie sie es in den Tagen vor der Sintflut gehalten haben: sie aßen und tranken, sie heirateten und verheirateten (ihre Töchter) bis zu dem Tage, als Noah in die Arche ging,

Porque como en los días antes del diluvio estaban comiendo y bebiendo, casándose y dando en casamiento, hasta el día que Noé entró en el arca,

For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ship,

und wie sie nichts merkten, bis die Sintflut kam und alle hinwegraffte, ebenso wird es auch mit der Zeit der Ankunft des Menschensohnes der Fall sein.

Y no conocieron hasta que vino el diluvio y llevó á todos, así será también la venida del Hijo del hombre.

And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

and they didn’t know until the flood came and took them all away, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Da werden zwei (Männer zusammen) auf dem Felde sein: der eine wird angenommen, der andere zurückgelassen;

Entonces estarán dos en el campo; el uno será tomado, y el otro será dejado:

Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and one will be left.

zwei (Frauen) werden (zusammen) an der Handmühle mahlen: die eine wird angenommen, die andere zurückgelassen.«

Dos mujeres moliendo á un molinillo; la una será tomada, y la otra será dejada.

Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and one will be left.

»Seid also wachsam, denn ihr wißt nicht, an welchem Tage der Herr kommt.

Velad pues, porque no sabéis á qué hora ha de venir vuestro Señor.

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Watch therefore, for you don’t know in what hour your Lord comes.

Das aber seht ihr ein: Wenn der Hausherr wüßte, in welcher Stunde der Nacht der Dieb kommt, so würde er wach bleiben und keinen Einbruch in sein Haus zulassen.

Esto empero sabed, que si el padre de la familia supiese á cuál vela el ladrón había de venir, velaría, y no dejaría minar su casa.

But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.

Deshalb haltet auch ihr euch bereit; denn der Menschensohn kommt zu einer Stunde, wo ihr es nicht vermutet.«

Por tanto, también vosotros estad apercibidos; porque el Hijo del hombre ha de venir á la hora que no pensáis.

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come.

»Wer ist demnach der treue und kluge Knecht, den sein Herr über seine Dienerschaft gesetzt hat, damit er ihnen die Speise zu rechter Zeit gebe?

¿Quién pues es el siervo fiel y prudente, al cual puso su señor sobre su familia para que les dé alimento á tiempo?

Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has set over his household, to give them their food in due season?

Selig ist ein solcher Knecht (zu preisen), den sein Herr bei seiner Rückkehr in solcher Tätigkeit antrifft.

Bienaventurado aquel siervo, al cual, cuando su señor viniere, le hallare haciendo así.

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Blessed is that servant whom his lord finds doing so when he comes.

Wahrlich ich sage euch: Er wird ihn über seine sämtlichen Güter setzen.

De cierto os digo, que sobre todos sus bienes le pondrá.

Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

Most certainly I tell you that he will set him over all that he has.

Wenn aber ein solcher Knecht schlecht ist und in seinem Herzen denkt: ›Mein Herr kommt noch lange nicht!‹,

Y si aquel siervo malo dijere en su corazón: Mi señor se tarda en venir:

But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

But if that evil servant should say in his heart, ‘My lord is delaying his coming,’

und wenn er seine Mitknechte zu schlagen beginnt und mit den Trunkenen ißt und trinkt,

Y comenzare á herir á sus consiervos, y aun á comer y á beber con los borrachos;

And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

and begins to beat his fellow servants, and eat and drink with the drunkards,

so wird der Herr eines solchen Knechts an einem Tage kommen, an dem er es nicht erwartet, und zu einer Stunde, die er nicht kennt,

Vendrá el señor de aquel siervo en el día que no espera, y á la hora que no sabe,

The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

the lord of that servant will come in a day when he doesn’t expect it and in an hour when he doesn’t know it,

und er wird ihn zerhauen lassen und ihm seinen Platz bei den Heuchlern anweisen: dort wird lautes Weinen und Zähneknirschen sein.«

Y le cortará por medio, y pondrá su parte con los hipócritas: allí será el lloro y el crujir de dientes.

And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

and will cut him in pieces and appoint his portion with the hypocrites. That is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.
