Mateo 24

Quando Jesus estava deixando a área do templo, seus discípulos se aproximaram dele querendo mostrar-lhe as construções do templo.

Y SALIDO Jesús, íbase del templo; y se llegaron sus discípulos, para mostrarle los edificios del templo.

And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way. His disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.

Porém ele lhes disse: “Vocês estão vendo tudo isto? Todos estes edifícios serão derrubados, e não será deixada uma pedra em cima da outra!”

Y respondiendo él, les dijo: ¿Veis todo esto? de cierto os digo, que no será dejada aquí piedra sobre piedra, que no sea destruída.

And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

But he answered them, “You see all of these things, don’t you? Most certainly I tell you, there will not be left here one stone on another, that will not be thrown down.”

“Quando vai acontecer isso?”, perguntaram-lhe os discípulos mais tarde, quando ele se sentou nas encostas do monte das Oliveiras. “Que acontecimentos marcarão a sua volta e o fim dos tempos?”

Y sentándose él en el monte de las Olivas, se llegaron á él los discípulos aparte, diciendo: Dinos, ¿cuándo serán estas cosas, y qué señal habrá de tu venida, y del fin del mundo?

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?”

Jesus disse-lhes: “Não deixem que ninguém engane vocês.

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Mirad que nadie os engañe.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Jesus answered them, “Be careful that no one leads you astray.

Porque muitos virão em meu nome, dizendo: ‘Eu sou o Cristo!’, procurando enganar muitas pessoas.

Porque vendrán muchos en mi nombre, diciendo: Yo soy el Cristo; y á muchos engañarán.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will lead many astray.

Quando vocês ouvirem falar de guerras e rumores de guerras, não tenham medo; elas devem vir, mas ainda não é o fim.

Y oiréis guerras, y rumores de guerras: mirad que no os turbéis; porque es menester que todo esto acontezca; mas aún no es el fin.

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet.

As nações e os reinos da terra se levantarão uns contra os outros; haverá fome e terremotos em muitos lugares.

Porque se levantará nación contra nación, y reino contra reino; y habrá pestilencias, y hambres, y terremotos por los lugares.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places.

Mas tudo isso será apenas o princípio dos horrores futuros.

Y todas estas cosas, principio de dolores.

All these are the beginning of sorrows.

But all these things are the beginning of birth pains.

“Então vocês serão perseguidos e condenados à morte, e vocês serão odiados no mundo todo por minha causa.

Entonces os entregarán para ser afligidos, y os matarán; y seréis aborrecidos de todas las gentes por causa de mi nombre.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

“Then they will deliver you up to oppression and will kill you. You will be hated by all of the nations for my name’s sake.

Muitos de vocês vão abandonar a fé, e trairão e odiarão uns aos outros.

Y muchos entonces serán escandalizados; y se entregarán unos á otros, y unos á otros se aborrecerán.

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Then many will stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another.

Aparecerão falsos profetas, que enganarão a muitos.

Y muchos falsos profetas se levantarán y engañarán á muchos.

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Many false prophets will arise and will lead many astray.

O pecado aumentará por toda parte, e esfriará o amor de muitos.

Y por haberse multiplicado la maldad, la caridad de muchos se resfriará.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold.

Mas aqueles que ficarem firmes até o fim serão salvos.

Mas el que perseverare hasta el fin, éste será salvo.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

But he who endures to the end will be saved.

E as boas-novas do Reino serão pregadas pelo mundo inteiro, para que todas as nações as ouçam, e depois virá o fim.

Y será predicado este evangelio del reino en todo el mundo, por testimonio á todos los Gentiles; y entonces vendrá el fin.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

“Portanto, quando vocês virem a ‘coisa horrível’, a respeito da qual falou o profeta Daniel, no Lugar Santo; que o leitor entenda!

Por tanto, cuando viereis la abominación del asolamiento, que fué dicha por Daniel profeta, que estará en el lugar santo, (el que lee, entienda),

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

“When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),

Então aqueles que estiverem na Judeia devem fugir para os montes.

Entonces los que están en Judea, huyan á los montes;

Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

Aqueles que estiverem no terraço superior não devem entrar em casa nem mesmo para pegar alguma coisa antes de fugir.

Y el que sobre el terrado, no descienda á tomar algo de su casa;

Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take out the things that are in his house.

Aqueles que estiverem no campo, não devem voltar à casa para apanhar seu manto.

Y el que en el campo, no vuelva atrás á tomar sus vestidos.

Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

Let him who is in the field not return back to get his clothes.

Ai das mulheres grávidas e daquelas que estiverem amamentando seus filhos naqueles dias.

Mas ¡ay de las preñadas, y de las que crían en aquellos días!

And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

But woe to those who are with child and to nursing mothers in those days!

Orem para que a fuga de vocês não seja no inverno, nem no sábado.

Orad, pues, que vuestra huída no sea en invierno ni en sábado;

But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

Pray that your flight will not be in the winter nor on a Sabbath,

Porque haverá então grande tribulação, tal como o mundo nunca viu em toda a sua história, e nunca mais verá.

Porque habrá entonces grande aflicción, cual no fué desde el principio del mundo hasta ahora, ni será.

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

for then there will be great suffering, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be.

De fato, se aqueles dias não fossem encurtados, a humanidade inteira se perderia. Porém eles serão encurtados por causa do povo escolhido de Deus.

Y si aquellos días no fuesen acortados, ninguna carne sería salva; mas por causa de los escogidos, aquellos días serán acortados.

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the sake of the chosen ones, those days will be shortened.

Então se alguém lhes disser: ‘O Messias chegou em tal e tal lugar, ele apareceu aqui, ali, ou naquela vila mais adiante’, não acreditem nisso.

Entonces, si alguno os dijere: He aquí está el Cristo, ó allí, no creáis.

Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

“Then if any man tells you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘There!’ don’t believe it.

Porque se levantarão falsos cristos e falsos profetas, que farão sinais e maravilhas, de tal maneira que, se possível, enganariam até os escolhidos de Deus.

Porque se levantarán falsos Cristos, y falsos profetas, y darán señales grandes y prodigios; de tal manera que engañarán, si es posible, aun á los escogidos.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

For false christs and false prophets will arise, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.

Vejam que eu lhes avisei antecipadamente.

He aquí os lo he dicho antes.

Behold, I have told you before.

“Behold, I have told you beforehand.

“Portanto, se alguém lhes disser: ‘O Messias voltou e está lá no deserto’, não se deem ao trabalho de ir ver. Ou que ele está em certo lugar, não creiam nisso!

Así que, si os dijeren: He aquí en el desierto está; no salgáis: He aquí en las cámaras; no creáis.

Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

“If therefore they tell you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ don’t go out; or ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ don’t believe it.

Porque assim como o relâmpago brilha pelo céu de leste a oeste, assim será a vinda do Filho do Homem.

Porque como el relámpago que sale del oriente y se muestra hasta el occidente, así será también la venida del Hijo del hombre.

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

E onde o cadáver estiver, ali os urubus se ajuntarão.

Porque donde quiera que estuviere el cuerpo muerto, allí se juntarán las águilas.

For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

For wherever the carcass is, that is where the vultures gather together.

“Imediatamente depois da perseguição daqueles dias, o sol escurecerá, e a lua ficará negra, as estrelas cairão do céu, e as forças que sustentam a terra serão abaladas.

Y luego después de la aflicción de aquellos días, el sol se obscurecerá, y la luna no dará su lumbre, y las estrellas caerán del cielo, y las virtudes de los cielos serán conmovidas.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

“But immediately after the suffering of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken;

“Depois, finalmente, aparecerá no céu um sinal da minha vinda e haverá profunda lamentação ao redor de toda a terra. As nações do mundo verão o Filho do Homem chegar nas nuvens do céu, com poder e grande glória.

Y entonces se mostrará la señal del Hijo del hombre en el cielo; y entonces lamentarán todas las tribus de la tierra, y verán al Hijo del hombre que vendrá sobre las nubes del cielo, con grande poder y gloria.

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.

Ele enviará seus anjos com o som de um poderoso toque de trombeta, e eles reunirão os seus escolhidos dos pontos mais distantes da terra e do céu.

Y enviará sus ángeles con gran voz de trompeta, y juntarán sus escogidos de los cuatro vientos, de un cabo del cielo hasta el otro.

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

He will send out his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

“Agora aprendam a lição da figueira. Quando o ramo dela está novo e as folhas começam a brotar, vocês sabem que o verão está chegando.

De la higuera aprended la parábola: Cuando ya su rama se enternece, y las hojas brotan, sabéis que el verano está cerca.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

“Now from the fig tree learn this parable: When its branch has now become tender and produces its leaves, you know that the summer is near.

Da mesma forma, quando vocês puderem ver todas estas coisas começando a acontecer, podem saber que minha volta está bem próxima.

Así también vosotros, cuando viereis todas estas cosas, sabed que está cercano, á las puertas.

So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

Even so you also, when you see all these things, know that he is near, even at the doors.

Então, finalmente esta era chegará ao fim.

De cierto os digo, que no pasará esta generación, que todas estas cosas no acontezcan.

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Most certainly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things are accomplished.

Os céus e a terra passarão, porém as minhas palavras permanecerão para sempre.

El cielo y la tierra pasarán, mas mis palabras no pasarán.

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

“Mas ninguém sabe o dia e a hora em que o fim virá — nem mesmo os anjos dos céus, nem o Filho de Deus. Somente o Pai sabe.

Empero del día y hora nadie sabe, ni aun los ángeles de los cielos, sino mi Padre solo.

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

“But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

“A vinda do Filho do Homem será como foi nos tempos de Noé.

Mas como los días de Noé, así será la venida del Hijo del hombre.

But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

As the days of Noah were, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Pois, antes do dilúvio, o povo comia e bebia, e os homens e as mulheres se casavam, até o dia em que Noé entrou na arca;

Porque como en los días antes del diluvio estaban comiendo y bebiendo, casándose y dando en casamiento, hasta el día que Noé entró en el arca,

For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ship,

o povo não queria acreditar no que estava para acontecer, até que o dilúvio realmente veio e os levou a todos. Assim será a vinda do Filho do Homem.

Y no conocieron hasta que vino el diluvio y llevó á todos, así será también la venida del Hijo del hombre.

And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

and they didn’t know until the flood came and took them all away, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Dois homens estarão trabalhando juntos no campo; um será levado, e o outro será deixado.

Entonces estarán dos en el campo; el uno será tomado, y el otro será dejado:

Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and one will be left.

Duas mulheres estarão cuidando do seu trabalho no moinho; uma será levada, e a outra será deixada.

Dos mujeres moliendo á un molinillo; la una será tomada, y la otra será dejada.

Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and one will be left.

“Portanto, estejam vigiando, porque vocês não sabem em que dia o seu Senhor virá.

Velad pues, porque no sabéis á qué hora ha de venir vuestro Señor.

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Watch therefore, for you don’t know in what hour your Lord comes.

Tal como um homem pode evitar problemas com os ladrões mantendo vigilância contra eles,

Esto empero sabed, que si el padre de la familia supiese á cuál vela el ladrón había de venir, velaría, y no dejaría minar su casa.

But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.

assim também vocês podem evitar dificuldades, estando sempre preparados, porque o Filho do Homem virá numa hora em que vocês menos esperarem.

Por tanto, también vosotros estad apercibidos; porque el Hijo del hombre ha de venir á la hora que no pensáis.

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come.

“Você é um servo do Senhor sábio e fiel? Então eu lhe entregarei a tarefa de cuidar da minha casa e dar de comer aos seus conservos dia a dia!

¿Quién pues es el siervo fiel y prudente, al cual puso su señor sobre su familia para que les dé alimento á tiempo?

Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has set over his household, to give them their food in due season?

Feliz o servo que seu senhor encontrar fazendo fielmente o seu trabalho.

Bienaventurado aquel siervo, al cual, cuando su señor viniere, le hallare haciendo así.

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Blessed is that servant whom his lord finds doing so when he comes.

Eu vou pôr servos fiéis assim para cuidar de tudo o que possuo!

De cierto os digo, que sobre todos sus bienes le pondrá.

Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

Most certainly I tell you that he will set him over all that he has.

Mas se você for mau e disser consigo mesmo: ‘Meu Senhor não voltará tão cedo’,

Y si aquel siervo malo dijere en su corazón: Mi señor se tarda en venir:

But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

But if that evil servant should say in his heart, ‘My lord is delaying his coming,’

e começar a maltratar os outros servos, seus companheiros, e a comer e beber com os bêbados,

Y comenzare á herir á sus consiervos, y aun á comer y á beber con los borrachos;

And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

and begins to beat his fellow servants, and eat and drink with the drunkards,

o seu Senhor chegará sem avisar e sem ser esperado,

Vendrá el señor de aquel siervo en el día que no espera, y á la hora que no sabe,

The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

the lord of that servant will come in a day when he doesn’t expect it and in an hour when he doesn’t know it,

e vai castigá-lo duramente, e o mandará para a condenação junto com os hipócritas; ali haverá choro e ranger de dentes.

Y le cortará por medio, y pondrá su parte con los hipócritas: allí será el lloro y el crujir de dientes.

And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

and will cut him in pieces and appoint his portion with the hypocrites. That is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.
