ENTONCES el reino de los cielos será semejante á diez vírgenes, que tomando sus lámparas, salieron á recibir al esposo.
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

Fünf aber von ihnen waren klug und fünf töricht.

Da standen alle jene Jungfrauen auf und schmückten ihre Lampen.

And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

Die Klugen aber antworteten und sagten: Keineswegs, damit es nicht etwa für uns und euch nicht ausreiche; geht lieber hin zu den Verkäufern und kauft für euch selbst.
Mas las prudentes respondieron, diciendo: Porque no nos falte á nosotras y á vosotras, id antes á los que venden, y comprad para vosotras.
But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
But the wise answered, saying, ‘What if there isn’t enough for us and you? You go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’
Als sie aber hingingen zu kaufen, kam der Bräutigam, und die, die bereit waren, gingen mit ihm ein zur Hochzeit; und die Tür wurde verschlossen.
Y mientras que ellas iban á comprar, vino el esposo; y las que estaban apercibidas, entraron con él á las bodas; y se cerró la puerta.
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
While they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was shut.
Später aber kommen auch die übrigen Jungfrauen und sagen: Herr, Herr, mach uns auf!

Er aber antwortete und sprach: Wahrlich, ich sage euch, ich kenne euch nicht.
Mas respondiendo él, dijo: De cierto os digo, que no os conozco.
But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
But he answered, ‘Most certainly I tell you, I don’t know you.’
So wacht nun, denn ihr wisst weder den Tag noch die Stunde.
Velad, pues, porque no sabéis el día ni la hora en que el Hijo del hombre ha de venir.
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Denn wie ein Mensch, der außer Landes reiste, seine eigenen Knechte rief und ihnen seine Habe übergab:

For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

und einem gab er 5 Talente, einem anderen 2, einem anderen 1, jedem nach seiner eigenen Fähigkeit; und sogleichreiste er außer Landes.
Y á éste dió cinco talentos, y al otro dos, y al otro uno: á cada uno conforme á su facultad; y luego se partió lejos.
And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.

Nach langer Zeit aber kommt der Herr jener Knechte und hält Rechnung mit ihnen.
Y después de mucho tiempo, vino el señor de aquellos siervos, é hizo cuentas con ellos.
After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
“Now after a long time the lord of those servants came, and settled accounts with them.
Und es trat herzu, der die 5 Talente empfangen hatte, und brachte andere 5 Talente und sagte: Herr, 5 Talente hast du mir übergeben, siehe, andere 5 Talente habe ich zu denselben gewonnen.
Y llegando el que había recibido cinco talentos, trajo otros cinco talentos, diciendo: Señor, cinco talentos me entregaste; he aquí otros cinco talentos he ganado sobre ellos.
And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
He who received the five talents came and brought another five talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents. Behold, I have gained another five talents in addition to them.’
Sein Herr sprach zu ihm: Wohl, du guter und treuer Knecht! über weniges warst du treu, über vieles werde ich dich setzen; geh ein in die Freude deines Herrn.
Y su señor le dijo: Bien, buen siervo y fiel; sobre poco has sido fiel, sobre mucho te pondré: entra en el gozo de tu señor.
His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Es trat aber auch herzu, der die 2 Talente empfangen hatte, und sprach: Herr, 2 Talente hast du mir übergeben; siehe, andere 2 Talente habe ich zu denselben gewonnen.
Y llegando también el que había recibido dos talentos, dijo: Señor, dos talentos me entregaste; he aquí otros dos talentos he ganado sobre ellos.

Y llegando también el que había recibido un talento, dijo: Señor, te conocía que eres hombre duro, que siegas donde no sembraste, y recoges donde no esparciste;
Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
“He also who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you that you are a hard man, reaping where you didn’t sow, and gathering where you didn’t scatter.
und ich fürchtete mich und ging hin und verbarg dein Talent in der Erde; siehe, da hast du das Deine.
Y tuve miedo, y fuí, y escondí tu talento en la tierra: he aquí tienes lo que es tuyo.
And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

Sein Herr aber antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Böser und fauler Knecht! Du wusstest, dass ich ernte, wo ich nicht gesät, und sammle, wo ich nicht ausgestreut habe?

His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
“But his lord answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant. You knew that I reap where I didn’t sow, and gather where I didn’t scatter.
So solltest du nun mein Geld den Wechslern gegeben haben, und wenn ich kam, hätte ich das Meine mit Zinsen erhalten.
Por tanto te convenía dar mi dinero á los banqueros, y viniendo yo, hubiera recibido lo que es mío con usura.
Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
You ought therefore to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received back my own with interest.
Nehmt nun das Talent von ihm und gebt es dem, der die 10 Talente hat;
Quitadle pues el talento, y dadlo al que tiene diez talentos.

For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
For to everyone who has will be given, and he will have abundance, but from him who doesn’t have, even that which he has will be taken away.
Und den unnützen Knecht werft hinaus in die äußere Finsternis: Da wird sein das Weinen und das Zähneknirschen.
Y al siervo inútil echadle en las tinieblas de afuera: allí será el lloro y el crujir de dientes.
And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Throw out the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
Wenn aber der Sohn des Menschen kommen wird in seiner Herrlichkeit und alle Engel mit ihm, dann wird er auf seinem Thron der Herrlichkeitsitzen;
Y cuando el Hijo del hombre venga en su gloria, y todos los santos ángeles con él, entonces se sentará sobre el trono de su gloria.
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
“But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory.
und vor ihm werden versammelt werden alle Nationen, und er wird sie voneinander scheiden, wie der Hirte die Schafe von den Böckenscheidet.
Y serán reunidas delante de él todas las gentes: y los apartará los unos de los otros, como aparta el pastor las ovejas de los cabritos.
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
Und er wird die Schafe zu seiner Rechten stellen, die Böckeaber zur Linken.
Y pondrá las ovejas á su derecha, y los cabritos á la izquierda.
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Dann wird der König zu denen zu seiner Rechten sagen: Kommt her, Gesegnete meines Vaters, ererbt das Reich, das euch bereitet ist von Grundlegung der Welt an;

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Then the King will tell those on his right hand, ‘Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;
denn mich hungerte, und ihr gabt mir zu essen; mich dürstete, und ihr tränktet mich; ich war Fremder, und ihr nahmt mich auf;
Porque tuve hambre, y me disteis de comer; tuve sed, y me disteis de beber; fuí huésped, y me recogisteis;
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
for I was hungry and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you took me in.
nackt, und ihr bekleidetet mich; ich war krank, und ihr besuchtet mich; ich war im Gefängnis, und ihr kamt zu mir.
Desnudo, y me cubristeis; enfermo, y me visitasteis; estuve en la cárcel, y vinisteis á mí.
Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
I was naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came to me.’
Dann werden die Gerechten ihm antworten und sagen: Herr, wann sahen wir dich hungrig, und speisten dich? Oder durstig, und tränkten dich?
Entonces los justos le responderán, diciendo: Señor, ¿cuándo te vimos hambriento, y te sustentamos? ¿ó sediento, y te dimos de beber?
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
“Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you a drink?
wann aber sahen wir dich als Fremder, und nahmen dich auf? Oder nackt, und bekleideten dich?
¿Y cuándo te vimos huésped, y te recogimos? ¿ó desnudo, y te cubrimos?
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
When did we see you as a stranger and take you in, or naked and clothe you?
wann aber sahen wir dich krank oder im Gefängnis und kamen zu dir?
¿O cuándo te vimos enfermo, ó en la cárcel, y vinimos á ti?
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
When did we see you sick or in prison and come to you?’
Und der König wird antworten und zu ihnen sagen: Wahrlich, ich sage euch, insofern ihr es einem der geringsten dieser meiner Brüder getan habt, habt ihr es mir getan.
Y respondiendo el Rey, les dirá: De cierto os digo que en cuanto lo hicisteis á uno de estos mis hermanos pequeñitos, á mí lo hicisteis.
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
“The King will answer them, ‘Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
Dann wird er auch zu denen zur Linken sagen: Geht von mir, Verfluchte, in das ewige Feuer, das bereitet ist dem Teufel und seinen Engeln;
Entonces dirá también á los que estarán á la izquierda: Apartaos de mí, malditos, al fuego eterno preparado para el diablo y para sus ángeles:
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Then he will say also to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels;
denn mich hungerte, und ihr gabt mir nicht zu essen; mich dürstete, und ihr tränktet mich nicht;
Porque tuve hambre, y no me disteis de comer; tuve sed, y no me disteis de beber;
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

Dann werden auch sie antworten und sagen: Herr, wann sahen wir dich hungrig oder durstig, oder als Fremder, oder nackt oder krank oder im Gefängnis und haben dir nicht gedient?
Entonces también ellos le responderán, diciendo: Señor, ¿cuándo te vimos hambriento, ó sediento, ó huésped, ó desnudo, ó enfermo, ó en la cárcel, y no te servimos?
Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
“Then they will also answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn’t help you?’
Dann wird er ihnen antworten und sagen: Wahrlich, ich sage euch, insofern ihr es einem dieser Geringsten nicht getan habt, habt ihr es auch mir nicht getan.
Entonces les responderá, diciendo: De cierto os digo que en cuanto no lo hicisteis á uno de estos pequeñitos, ni á mí lo hicisteis.
Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
“Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Most certainly I tell you, because you didn’t do it to one of the least of these, you didn’t do it to me.’
Und diese werden hingehen in die ewige Pein, die Gerechten aber in das ewige Leben.
E irán éstos al tormento eterno, y los justos á la vida eterna.
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
