24Cuando Pilato se dio cuenta de que no estaba logrando nada y que estaba a punto de formarse un disturbio, pidió que le trajeran una palangana de agua y se lavó las manos en presencia de la multitud. Y dijo: ―Soy inocente de la sangre de este hombre. ¡Allá ustedes!

24Y viendo Pilato que nada adelantaba, antes se hacía más alboroto, tomando agua se lavó las manos delante del pueblo, diciendo: Inocente soy yo de la sangre de este justo: veréislo vosotros.

24When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.

24So when Pilate saw that nothing was being gained, but rather that a disturbance was starting, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this righteous person. You see to it.”
