Depois do sábado, no domingo pela manhã bem cedo, quando um novo dia estava nascendo, Maria Madalena e a outra Maria foram ao túmulo.

Y LA víspera de sábado, que amanece para el primer día de la semana, vino María Magdalena, y la otra María, á ver el sepulcro.

De repente houve um grande terremoto, porque um anjo do Senhor desceu dos céus, rolou a pedra da entrada e se sentou sobre ela.

Y he aquí, fué hecho un gran terremoto: porque el ángel del Señor, descendiendo del cielo y llegando, había revuelto la piedra, y estaba sentado sobre ella.

And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

O rosto dele brilhava como um relâmpago e a roupa dele era branca como a neve.

Y su aspecto era como un relámpago, y su vestido blanco como la nieve.

His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

Quando viram o anjo, os guardas tremeram de medo, desmaiaram e ficaram como mortos.

Y de miedo de él los guardas se asombraron, y fueron vueltos como muertos.

And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

Então o anjo falou às mulheres: “Não tenham medo!”, disse ele. “Sei que vocês procuram Jesus, que foi crucificado,

Y respondiendo el ángel, dijo á las mujeres: No temáis vosotras; porque yo sé que buscáis á Jesús, que fué crucificado.

And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

The angel answered the women, “Don’t be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified.

porém ele não está aqui! Ressuscitou, tal como havia dito. Entrem e vejam onde o seu corpo estava deitado.

No está aquí; porque ha resucitado, como dijo. Venid, ved el lugar donde fué puesto el Señor.

He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Agora, vão depressa e contem aos seus discípulos que ele ressuscitou dos mortos e que vai para a Galileia, a fim de encontrar todos lá. Era isto que eu tinha a dizer para vocês”.

E id presto, decid á sus discípulos que ha resucitado de los muertos: y he aquí va delante de vosotros á Galilea; allí le veréis; he aquí, os lo he dicho.

And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

As mulheres correram do túmulo, muito assustadas, mas também cheias de alegria, e foram depressa procurar os discípulos para dar o recado do anjo a respeito de Jesus.

Entonces ellas, saliendo del sepulcro con temor y gran gozo, fueron corriendo á dar las nuevas á sus discípulos. Y mientras iban á dar las nuevas á sus discípulos,

And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

Quando elas estavam correndo, de repente apareceu Jesus na frente delas! “Que a paz esteja com vocês!”, disse ele. Elas caíram no chão diante dele, abraçando seus pés e o adoraram.

He aquí, Jesús les sale al encuentro, diciendo: Salve. Y ellas se llegaron y abrazaron sus pies, y le adoraron.

And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

Então Jesus disse a elas: “Não tenham medo! Vão dizer aos meus irmãos que se dirijam imediatamente para a Galileia, para se encontrar comigo lá”.

Entonces Jesús les dice: No temáis: id, dad las nuevas á mis hermanos, para que vayan á Galilea, y allí me verán.

Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

Then Jesus said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Go tell my brothers that they should go into Galilee, and there they will see me.”

Enquanto as mulheres iam para a cidade, alguns dos guardas que estavam guardando o túmulo foram para a cidade e contaram aos sacerdotes principais o que tinha acontecido.

Y yendo ellas, he aquí unos de la guardia vinieron á la ciudad, y dieron aviso á los príncipes de los sacerdotes de todas las cosas que habían acontecido.

Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.

Quando os sacerdotes principais se reuniram com os líderes religiosos, elaboraram um plano. Decidiram pagar uma grande soma de dinheiro aos guardas,

Y juntados con los ancianos, y habido consejo, dieron mucho dinero á los soldados,

And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,

e disseram a eles: “Vocês devem declarar o seguinte: Enquanto todos estávamos dormindo, os discípulos de Jesus vieram durante a noite e roubaram o corpo dele.

Diciendo: Decid: Sus discípulos vinieron de noche, y le hurtaron, durmiendo nosotros.

Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.

saying, “Say that his disciples came by night and stole him away while we slept.

Se o governador ouvir a respeito disso”, prometeram eles, “nós defenderemos vocês e tudo ficará bem”.

Y si esto fuere oído del presidente, nosotros le persuadiremos, y os haremos seguros.

And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.

If this comes to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him and make you free of worry.”

Assim os guardas aceitaram o dinheiro e falaram o que lhes foi instruído. A história deles espalhou-se entre os judeus, e ainda é repetida até o dia de hoje.

Y ellos, tomando el dinero, hicieron como estaban instruídos: y este dicho fué divulgado entre los Judíos hasta el día de hoy.

So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

Então os onze discípulos partiram para a Galileia e foram para o monte onde Jesus tinha dito que eles o encontrariam.

Mas los once discípulos se fueron á Galilea, al monte donde Jesús les había ordenado.

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

Lá, eles o encontraram e o adoraram, mas alguns deles não estavam convencidos de que era realmente Jesus!

Y como le vieron, le adoraron: mas algunos dudaban.

Então Jesus aproximou-se dos seus discípulos e disse: “Toda a autoridade no céu e na terra foi entregue a mim.

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Portanto, vão e façam discípulos de todas as nações, batizando-os no nome do Pai, do Filho e do Espírito Santo,

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

e ensinando esses novos discípulos a obedecerem a todas as ordens que eu lhes dei. E tenham certeza disto: Eu estarei sempre com vocês, até o fim dos tempos”.

Enseñándoles que guarden todas las cosas que os he mandado: y he aquí, yo estoy con vosotros todos los días, hasta el fin del mundo. Amén.

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
