Entonces Herodes mandó llamar secretamente a los sabios, y averiguó la fecha exacta en que habían visto por primera vez la estrella.

Entonces Herodes, llamando en secreto á los magos, entendió de ellos diligentemente el tiempo del aparecimiento de la estrella;

Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.

Then Herod secretly called the wise men, and learned from them exactly what time the star appeared.
