Or Jésus étant né à Bethléhem, ville de Juda, au temps du Roi Hérode, voici arriver des Sages d’Orient à Jérusalem.

Y COMO fué nacido Jesús en Bethlehem de Judea en días del rey Herodes, he aquí unos magos vinieron del oriente á Jerusalem,

Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

En disant : où est le Roi des Juifs qui est né ? car nous avons vu son étoile en Orient, et nous sommes venus l’adorer.

Diciendo: ¿Dónde está el Rey de los Judíos, que ha nacido? porque su estrella hemos visto en el oriente, y venimos á adorarle.

Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

“Where is he who is born King of the Jews? For we saw his star in the east, and have come to worship him.”

Ce que le Roi Hérode ayant entendu, il en fut troublé, et tout Jérusalem avec lui.

Y oyendo esto el rey Herodes, se turbó, y toda Jerusalem con él.

When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

Et ayant assemblé tous les principaux Sacrificateurs, et les Scribes du peuple, il s’informa d’eux où le Christ devait naître.

Y convocados todos los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y los escribas del pueblo, les preguntó dónde había de nacer el Cristo.

And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

Et ils lui dirent : à Bethléhem, ville de Judée ; car il est ainsi écrit par un Prophète :

Y ellos le dijeron: En Bethlehem de Judea; porque así está escrito por el profeta:

And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,

Et toi, Bethléhem, terre de Juda, tu n’es nullement la plus petite entre les Gouverneurs de Juda, car de toi sortira le Conducteur qui paîtra mon peuple d’Israël.

Y tú, Bethlehem, de tierra de Judá, no eres muy pequeña entre los príncipes de Judá; porque de ti saldrá un guiador, que apacentará á mi pueblo Israel.

And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

‘You Bethlehem, land of Judah, are in no way least among the princes of Judah; for out of you shall come a governor who shall shepherd my people, Israel.’”

Alors Hérode ayant appelé en secret les Sages, s’informa d’eux soigneusement du temps que l’étoile leur était apparue.

Entonces Herodes, llamando en secreto á los magos, entendió de ellos diligentemente el tiempo del aparecimiento de la estrella;

Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.

Et les envoyant à Bethléhem, il leur dit : Allez, et vous informez soigneusement touchant le petit enfant ; et quand vous l’aurez trouvé, faites- le-moi savoir, afin que j’y aille aussi, et que je l’adore.

Y enviándolos á Bethlehem, dijo: Andad allá, y preguntad con diligencia por el niño; y después que le hallareis, hacédmelo saber, para que yo también vaya y le adore.

And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.

Eux donc ayant ouï le Roi, s’en allèrent, et voici, l’étoile qu’ils avaient vue en Orient allait devant eux, jusqu’à ce qu’elle vint et s’arrêta sur le lieu où était le petit enfant.

Y ellos, habiendo oído al rey, se fueron: y he aquí la estrella que habían visto en el oriente, iba delante de ellos, hasta que llegando, se puso sobre donde estaba el niño.

When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

Et quand ils virent l’étoile, ils se réjouirent d’une fort grande joie.

Y vista la estrella, se regocijaron con muy grande gozo.

Et entrés dans la maison, ils trouvèrent le petit enfant avec Marie sa mère, lequel ils adorèrent, en se prosternant en terre ; et après avoir déployé leurs trésors, ils lui offrirent des présents, savoir, de l’or, de l’encens et de la myrrhe.

Y entrando en la casa, vieron al niño con su madre María, y postrándose, le adoraron; y abriendo sus tesoros, le ofrecieron dones, oro é incienso y mirra.

And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

Puis étant divinement avertis dans un songe, de ne retourner point vers Hérode, ils se retirèrent en leur pays par un autre chemin.

Y siendo avisados por revelación en sueños que no volviesen á Herodes, se volvieron á su tierra por otro camino.

And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

Or après qu’ils se furent retirés, voici, l’Ange du Seigneur apparut dans un songe à Joseph, et lui dit : lève-toi, et prends le petit enfant, et sa mère, et t’enfuis en Egypte, et demeure là, jusqu’à ce que je te le dise ; car Hérode cherchera le petit enfant pour le faire mourir.

Y partidos ellos, he aquí el ángel del Señor aparece en sueños á José, diciendo: Levántate, y toma al niño y á su madre, y huye á Egipto, y estáte allá hasta que yo te lo diga; porque ha de acontecer, que Herodes buscará al niño para matarlo.

And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and stay there until I tell you, for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.”

Joseph donc étant réveillé, prit de nuit le petit enfant, et sa mère, et se retira en Egypte.

Y él despertando, tomó al niño y á su madre de noche, y se fué á Egipto;

Et il demeura là jusques à la mort d’Hérode ; afin que fût accompli ce dont le Seigneur avait parlé par un Prophète, disant : J’ai appelé mon Fils hors d’Egypte.

Y estuvo allá hasta la muerte de Herodes: para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por el Señor, por el profeta que dijo: De Egipto llamé á mi Hijo.

And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

Alors Hérode voyant que les Sages s’étaient moqués de lui, fut fort en colère, et il envoya tuer tous les enfants qui étaient à Bethléhem, et dans tout son territoire ; depuis l’âge de deux ans, et au-dessous, selon le temps dont il s’était exactement informé des Sages.

Herodes entonces, como se vió burlado de los magos, se enojó mucho, y envió, y mató á todos los niños que había en Bethlehem y en todos sus términos, de edad de dos años abajo, conforme al tiempo que había entendido de los magos.

Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.

Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked by the wise men, was exceedingly angry, and sent out and killed all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all the surrounding countryside, from two years old and under, according to the exact time which he had learned from the wise men.

Alors fut accompli ce dont avait parlé Jérémie le Prophète, en disant :

Entonces fué cumplido lo que se había dicho por el profeta Jeremías, que dijo:

Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying,

On a ouï à Rama un cri, une lamentation, des plaintes, et un grand gémissement : Rachel pleurant ses enfants, et n’ayant point voulu être consolée de ce qu’ils ne sont plus.

Voz fué oída en Ramá, grande lamentación, lloro y gemido: Rachêl que llora sus hijos; y no quiso ser consolada, porque perecieron.

In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.

“A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children; she wouldn’t be comforted, because they are no more.”

Mais après qu’Hérode fut mort, voici, l’Ange du Seigneur apparut dans un songe à Joseph, en Egypte,

Mas muerto Herodes, he aquí el ángel del Señor aparece en sueños á José en Egipto,

But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,

Et lui dit : lève-toi, et prends le petit enfant, et sa mère, et t’en va au pays d’Israël ; car ceux qui cherchaient à ôter la vie au petit enfant sont morts.

Diciendo: Levántate, y toma al niño y á su madre, y vete á tierra de Israel; que muertos son los que procuraban la muerte del niño.

Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life.

“Arise and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel, for those who sought the young child’s life are dead.”

Joseph donc s’étant réveillé, prit le petit enfant et sa mère, et s’en vint au pays d’Israël.

Entonces él se levantó, y tomó al niño y á su madre, y se vino á tierra de Israel.

And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.

Mais quand il eut appris qu’Archélaüs régnait en Judée, à la place d’Hérode son père, il craignit d’y aller ; et étant divinement averti dans un songe, il se retira en Galilée.

Y oyendo que Archelao reinaba en Judea en lugar de Herodes su padre, temió ir allá: mas amonestado por revelación en sueños, se fué á las partes de Galilea.

But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:

But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea in the place of his father, Herod, he was afraid to go there. Being warned in a dream, he withdrew into the region of Galilee,

Et y étant arrivé, il habita dans la ville appelée Nazareth ; afin que fût accompli ce qui avait été dit par les Prophètes : il sera appelé Nazarien. Retournez au Début

Y vino, y habitó en la ciudad que se llama Nazaret: para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por los profetas, que había de ser llamado Nazareno.

And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.
