Mateo 2

Als nun Jesus geboren war zu Bethlehem im jüdischen Lande, in den Tagen des Königs Herodes, siehe, da kamen Weise aus dem Morgenland nach Jerusalem, die sprachen:

Y COMO fué nacido Jesús en Bethlehem de Judea en días del rey Herodes, he aquí unos magos vinieron del oriente á Jerusalem,

Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

Wo ist der neugeborene König der Juden? Denn wir haben seinen Stern gesehen im Morgenlande und sind gekommen, ihn anzubeten.

Diciendo: ¿Dónde está el Rey de los Judíos, que ha nacido? porque su estrella hemos visto en el oriente, y venimos á adorarle.

Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

“Where is he who is born King of the Jews? For we saw his star in the east, and have come to worship him.”

Da das der König Herodes hörte, erschrak er und ganz Jerusalem mit ihm.

Y oyendo esto el rey Herodes, se turbó, y toda Jerusalem con él.

When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

Und er berief alle Hohenpriester und Schriftgelehrten des Volkes zusammen und erfragte von ihnen, wo der Christus geboren werden sollte.

Y convocados todos los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y los escribas del pueblo, les preguntó dónde había de nacer el Cristo.

And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

Sie aber sagten ihm: Zu Bethlehem im jüdischen Lande; denn also steht geschrieben durch den Propheten:

Y ellos le dijeron: En Bethlehem de Judea; porque así está escrito por el profeta:

And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,

They said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for this is written through the prophet,

«Und du, Bethlehem im Lande Juda, bist keineswegs die geringste unter den Fürsten Judas; denn aus dir wird ein Herrscher hervorgehen, der mein Volk Israel weiden soll!»

Y tú, Bethlehem, de tierra de Judá, no eres muy pequeña entre los príncipes de Judá; porque de ti saldrá un guiador, que apacentará á mi pueblo Israel.

And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

‘You Bethlehem, land of Judah, are in no way least among the princes of Judah; for out of you shall come a governor who shall shepherd my people, Israel.’”

Da berief Herodes die Weisen heimlich und erkundigte sich bei ihnen genau nach der Zeit, wann der Stern erschienen wäre,

Entonces Herodes, llamando en secreto á los magos, entendió de ellos diligentemente el tiempo del aparecimiento de la estrella;

Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.

und sandte sie nach Bethlehem und sprach: Ziehet hin und forschet genau nach dem Kindlein. Und wenn ihr es gefunden habt, so tut mir's kund, auf daß auch ich komme und es anbete.

Y enviándolos á Bethlehem, dijo: Andad allá, y preguntad con diligencia por el niño; y después que le hallareis, hacédmelo saber, para que yo también vaya y le adore.

And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.

Und als sie den König gehört, zogen sie hin. Und siehe, der Stern, den sie im Morgenlande gesehen, ging vor ihnen her, bis er kam und über dem Orte stillstand, wo das Kindlein war.

Y ellos, habiendo oído al rey, se fueron: y he aquí la estrella que habían visto en el oriente, iba delante de ellos, hasta que llegando, se puso sobre donde estaba el niño.

When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

Da sie nun den Stern sahen, wurden sie sehr hoch erfreut

Y vista la estrella, se regocijaron con muy grande gozo.

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

und gingen in das Haus hinein und fanden das Kindlein samt Maria, seiner Mutter. Und sie fielen nieder, beteten es an, taten ihre Schätze auf und brachten ihm Gaben, Gold, Weihrauch und Myrrhen.

Y entrando en la casa, vieron al niño con su madre María, y postrándose, le adoraron; y abriendo sus tesoros, le ofrecieron dones, oro é incienso y mirra.

And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

Und da sie im Traum angewiesen wurden, nicht wieder zu Herodes zurückzukehren, entwichen sie auf einem andern Wege in ihr Land.

Y siendo avisados por revelación en sueños que no volviesen á Herodes, se volvieron á su tierra por otro camino.

And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

Being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they went back to their own country another way.

Als sie aber entwichen waren, siehe, da erscheint ein Engel des Herrn dem Joseph im Traum und spricht: Steh auf, nimm das Kindlein und seine Mutter und fliehe nach Ägypten und bleibe dort, bis ich es dir sage; denn Herodes will das Kindlein aufsuchen, um es umzubringen.

Y partidos ellos, he aquí el ángel del Señor aparece en sueños á José, diciendo: Levántate, y toma al niño y á su madre, y huye á Egipto, y estáte allá hasta que yo te lo diga; porque ha de acontecer, que Herodes buscará al niño para matarlo.

And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and stay there until I tell you, for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.”

Da stand er auf, nahm das Kindlein und seine Mutter des Nachts und entwich nach Ägypten.

Y él despertando, tomó al niño y á su madre de noche, y se fué á Egipto;

When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:

Und er blieb dort bis zum Tode des Herodes, auf daß erfüllt würde, was vom Herrn durch den Propheten gesagt ist, der da spricht: «Aus Ägypten habe ich meinen Sohn gerufen.»

Y estuvo allá hasta la muerte de Herodes: para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por el Señor, por el profeta que dijo: De Egipto llamé á mi Hijo.

And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

Da sich nun Herodes von den Weisen betrogen sah, ward er sehr zornig, sandte hin und ließ alle Knäblein töten, die zu Bethlehem und in allen ihren Grenzen waren, von zwei Jahren und darunter, nach der Zeit, die er von den Weisen genau erkundigt hatte.

Herodes entonces, como se vió burlado de los magos, se enojó mucho, y envió, y mató á todos los niños que había en Bethlehem y en todos sus términos, de edad de dos años abajo, conforme al tiempo que había entendido de los magos.

Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.

Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked by the wise men, was exceedingly angry, and sent out and killed all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all the surrounding countryside, from two years old and under, according to the exact time which he had learned from the wise men.

Da ward erfüllt, was durch Jeremia gesagt ist, den Propheten, der da spricht:

Entonces fué cumplido lo que se había dicho por el profeta Jeremías, que dijo:

Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying,

Then that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled, saying,

«Eine Stimme ist zu Rama gehört worden, viel Weinen und Klagen; Rahel beweint ihre Kinder und will sich nicht trösten lassen, weil sie nicht mehr sind.»

Voz fué oída en Ramá, grande lamentación, lloro y gemido: Rachêl que llora sus hijos; y no quiso ser consolada, porque perecieron.

In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.

“A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children; she wouldn’t be comforted, because they are no more.”

Als aber Herodes gestorben war, siehe, da erscheint ein Engel des Herrn dem Joseph in Ägypten im Traum

Mas muerto Herodes, he aquí el ángel del Señor aparece en sueños á José en Egipto,

But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,

But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying,

und spricht: Steh auf, nimm das Kindlein und seine Mutter zu dir und ziehe in das Land Israel; denn sie sind gestorben, die dem Kindlein nach dem Leben trachteten!

Diciendo: Levántate, y toma al niño y á su madre, y vete á tierra de Israel; que muertos son los que procuraban la muerte del niño.

Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life.

“Arise and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel, for those who sought the young child’s life are dead.”

Da stand er auf, nahm das Kindlein und seine Mutter zu sich und ging in das Land Israel.

Entonces él se levantó, y tomó al niño y á su madre, y se vino á tierra de Israel.

And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.

Als er aber hörte, daß Archelaus anstatt seines Vaters Herodes über Judäa regierte, fürchtete er sich, dahin zu gehen. Und auf eine Anweisung hin, die er im Traume erhielt, entwich er in die Gegend des galiläischen Landes.

Y oyendo que Archelao reinaba en Judea en lugar de Herodes su padre, temió ir allá: mas amonestado por revelación en sueños, se fué á las partes de Galilea.

But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:

But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea in the place of his father, Herod, he was afraid to go there. Being warned in a dream, he withdrew into the region of Galilee,

Und dort angekommen, ließ er sich nieder in einer Stadt namens Nazareth; auf daß erfüllt würde, was durch die Propheten gesagt ist: «Er wird Nazarener heißen.»

Y vino, y habitó en la ciudad que se llama Nazaret: para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por los profetas, que había de ser llamado Nazareno.

And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

and came and lived in a city called Nazareth; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophets that he will be called a Nazarene.
