Car c’est ici celui dont il a été parlé par Esaïe le Prophète, en disant : la voix de celui qui crie dans le désert est : préparez le chemin du Seigneur, aplanissez ses sentiers.

Porque éste es aquel del cual fué dicho por el profeta Isaías, que dijo: Voz de uno que clama en el desierto: Aparejad el camino del Señor, enderezad sus veredas.

For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

For this is he who was spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness, make the way of the Lord ready! Make his paths straight!”
