Mateo 3

In jenen Tagen aber predigte (tritt auf, kommt) Johannes der Täufer (verkündend) in der Wüste von Judäa

Y EN aquellos días vino Juan el Bautista predicando en el desierto de Judea,

In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,

In those days, John the Baptizer came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying,

†und sprach (sagte): Bekehrt euch (Tut Buße, Denkt um), denn das Himmelreich (Reich der Himmel, Königsherrschaft der Himmel) ist nahe (hat sich genaht).

Y diciendo: Arrepentíos, que el reino de los cielos se ha acercado.

And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

“Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!”

Dieser nämlich ist es (der Gesagte), von dem (durch) Jesaja der Prophet sprach (sagend), als er sagte: Eine Stimme ruft (eines Rufenden) in der Wüste: Bereitet den Weg des Herrn, ebnet (Gerade macht) seine Pfade!

Porque éste es aquel del cual fué dicho por el profeta Isaías, que dijo: Voz de uno que clama en el desierto: Aparejad el camino del Señor, enderezad sus veredas.

For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

For this is he who was spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness, make the way of the Lord ready! Make his paths straight!”

Er aber, Johannes, hatte ein (sein) Kleid aus Kamelhaar und einen ledernen Gürtel um seine Hüften (Lenden); (aber) seine Nahrung (Speise) bestand aus (war) Heuschrecken und wildem Honig.

Y tenía Juan su vestido de pelos de camellos, y una cinta de cuero alrededor de sus lomos; y su comida era langostas y miel silvestre.

And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.

Now John himself wore clothing made of camel’s hair with a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey.

Da (Damals) zog (ging) zu ihm hinaus Jerusalem, und ganz Judäa und das ganze Umland(die ganze Umgebung) des Jordans,

Entonces salía á él Jerusalem, y toda Judea, y toda la provincia de alrededor del Jordán;

Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,

Then people from Jerusalem, all of Judea, and all the region around the Jordan went out to him.

und sie ließen sich taufen(wurden getauft) im Fluß Jordan von ihm, weil(indem) sie ihre Sünden bekannten.

Y eran bautizados de él en el Jordán, confesando sus pecados.

And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.

They were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins.

(Aber) Als Johannes (sah dass) viele der Pharisäer und Sadduzäer zu seiner Taufe kommen sah (kamen), sagte er zu ihnen: Ihr Schlangenbrut (Brut von Giftschlangen, Nachkommen der Giftschlangen), wer hat euch denn gelehrt (bewiesen), dass ihr dem kommenden Gericht (Zorn) entrinnen könnt?

Y viendo él muchos de los Fariseos y de los Saduceos, que venían á su bautismo, decíales: Generación de víboras, ¿quién os ha enseñado á huir de la ira que vendrá?

But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for his baptism, he said to them, “You offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

Zeigt also, dass ihr eure Einstellung geändert habt!

Haced pues frutos dignos de arrepentimiento,

Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

Therefore produce fruit worthy of repentance!

Und denkt nicht (Lasst Euch nicht einfallen) dass ihr zu euch selbst sagen könntet: Wir haben Abraham als Vater. Denn ich sage euch: (Es kann) Gott kann aus diesen Steinen dem Abraham Kinder erwecken(hervorbringen).

Y no penséis decir dentro de vosotros: A Abraham tenemos por padre: porque yo os digo, que puede Dios despertar hijos á Abraham aun de estas piedras.

And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

Don’t think to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham for our father,’ for I tell you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.

Schon aber ist die Axt an die Wurzeln der Bäume gelegt; denn jeder Baum, der nicht gute Früchte (Frucht) hervorbringt, wird abgehauen und ins Feuer geworfen.

Ahora, ya también la segur está puesta á la raíz de los árboles; y todo árbol que no hace buen fruto, es cortado y echado en el fuego.

And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Even now the ax lies at the root of the trees. Therefore every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit is cut down, and cast into the fire.

Ich taufe euch (zwar, einerseits) mit(in) Wasser zur Umkehr(Buße); der aber nach mir kommen wird, ist stärker als ich, und ich bin es nicht wert (nicht gut/genügend genug), ihm die Sandalen zu tragen(seine Sandalen aufzuheben); er wird euch mit(in) dem Heiligen Geist und Feuer taufen;

Yo á la verdad os bautizo en agua para arrepentimiento; mas el que viene tras mí, más poderoso es que yo; los zapatos del cual yo no soy digno de llevar; él os bautizará en Espíritu Santo y en fuego.

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

“I indeed baptize you in water for repentance, but he who comes after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit.

seine Worfschaufel ist in seiner Hand (und) er wird seine Tenne gründlich säubern(reinigen) und seinen Weizen(Korn, Getreide) in der Scheune sammeln(zusammenbringen), aber die Spreu wird er verbrennen mit(durch) unauslöschlichem Feuer.

Su aventador en su mano está, y aventará su era: y allegará su trigo en el alfolí, y quemará la paja en fuego que nunca se apagará.

Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing floor. He will gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire.”

Dann(Zu dieser Zeit) kam Jesus von Galiläa (her) an den Jordan zu Johannes, um sich von ihm taufen zu lassen(um von ihm getauft zu werden).

Entonces Jesús vino de Galilea á Juan al Jordán, para ser bautizado de él.

Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.

Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John, to be baptized by him.

Johannes aber hinderte ihn (wehrte ihm) und sprach: Ich habe es nötig von dir getauft zu werden und du kommst zu mir?

Mas Juan lo resistía mucho, diciendo: Yo he menester ser bautizado de ti, ¿y tú vienes á mí?

But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

But John would have hindered him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and you come to me?”

Jesus antwortete ihm jedoch: Lass es jetzt gut sein(geschehen)! Denn so gebührt (geziemt) es uns(Denn es ist recht, dass wir), alle(die ganze) Gerechtigkeit zu erfüllen. Da ließ er ihn gewähren(es geschehen).

Empero respondiendo Jesús le dijo: Deja ahora; porque así nos conviene cumplir toda justicia. Entonces le dejó.

And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

But Jesus, answering, said to him, “Allow it now, for this is the fitting way for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed him.

Als Jesus getauft war, stieg er sofort aus dem Wasser herauf (heraus) ; und siehe, da öffneten sich †ihm die Himmel und er sah den Geist Gottes wie eine Taube auf ihn herabkommen.

Y Jesús, después que fué bautizado, subió luego del agua; y he aquí los cielos le fueron abiertos, y vió al Espíritu de Dios que descendía como paloma, y venía sobre él.

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

Jesus, when he was baptized, went up directly from the water: and behold, the heavens were opened to him. He saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming on him.

Und siehe, es kam eine Stimme vom(aus dem) Himmel, die sprach: Dies ist mein geliebter Sohn, an dem ich Wohlgefallen habe.

Y he aquí una voz de los cielos que decía: Este es mi Hijo amado, en el cual tengo contentamiento.

And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Behold, a voice out of the heavens said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
