Llegó el tentador y le dijo: Ya que eres Hijo de Dios, dí que estas piedras se conviertan en panes.

And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
The tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”
Pero Él respondió: Está escrito: No solo de pan vivirá el hombre, sino de toda Palabra de la boca de Dios.
Mas él respondiendo, dijo: Escrito está: No con solo el pan vivirá el hombre, mas con toda palabra que sale de la boca de Dios.
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
But he answered, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth.’”
Entonces el diablo lo llevó hasta la Ciudad Santa, y lo colocó en pie sobre el pináculo del Templo
Entonces el diablo le pasa á la santa ciudad, y le pone sobre las almenas del templo,
Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
Then the devil took him into the holy city. He set him on the pinnacle of the temple,
y le dijo: Ya que eres Hijo de Dios, lánzate abajo, porque está escrito: Te enviará a sus ángeles. Y: En sus manos te llevarán para que tu pie no tropiece en piedra.
Y le dice: Si eres Hijo de Dios, échate abajo; que escrito está: A sus ángeles mandará por ti, y te alzarán en las manos, para que nunca tropieces con tu pie en piedra.
And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, ‘He will command his angels concerning you,’ and, ‘On their hands they will bear you up, so that you don’t dash your foot against a stone.’”
Jesús le respondió: También está escrito: No tentarás al Señor tu Dios.

Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Otra vez el diablo lo llevó a una montaña muy alta, y le mostró todos los reinos del mundo y el esplendor de ellos,
Otra vez le pasa el diablo á un monte muy alto, y le muestra todos los reinos del mundo, y su gloria,
Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
Again, the devil took him to an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.
y le dijo: Todo esto te daré si te postras y me adoras.
Y dícele: Todo esto te daré, si postrado me adorares.
And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
He said to him, “I will give you all of these things, if you will fall down and worship me.”
Pero Jesús le respondió: Vete, Satanás, porque está escrito: Al Señor tu Dios adorarás, y solo a Él servirás.
Entonces Jesús le dice: Vete, Satanás, que escrito está: Al Señor tu Dios adorarás y á él solo servirás.
Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Then Jesus said to him, “Get behind me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.’”
Entonces el diablo lo dejó. Y unos ángeles llegaron y le servían.
El diablo entonces le dejó: y he aquí los ángeles llegaron y le servían.
Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Cuando Jesús oyó que Juan fue encarcelado, regresó a Galilea.
Mas oyendo Jesús que Juan era preso, se volvió á Galilea;
Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;
Now when Jesus heard that John was delivered up, he withdrew into Galilee.
Salió de Nazaret y vivió en Cafarnaúm junto al mar, en los linderos de Zabulón y de Neftalí,
Y dejando á Nazaret, vino y habitó en Capernaum, ciudad marítima, en los confines de Zabulón y de Nephtalim:
And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:
Leaving Nazareth, he came and lived in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali,
para que se cumpliera lo dicho por el profeta Isaías:

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying,
Tierra de Zabulón y tierra de Neftalí, camino del mar, más allá del Jordán, Galilea de los gentiles.

The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;

El pueblo que vivía en tinieblas vio gran luz. A los que moraban en región y sombra de muerte, luz les resplandeció.
El pueblo asentado en tinieblas, vió gran luz; y á los sentados en región y sombra de muerte, luz les esclareció.
The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

Desde entonces Jesús comenzó a predicar: Den la vuelta, porque el reino celestial se acercó.

And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

Les dijo: Vengan conmigo, y los haré pescadores de hombres.

Jesús recorría toda Galilea y enseñaba en las congregaciones de ellos. Proclamaba las Buenas Noticias del reino y sanaba toda enfermedad y dolencia en el pueblo.
Y rodeó Jesús toda Galilea, enseñando en las sinagogas de ellos, y predicando el evangelio del reino, y sanando toda enfermedad y toda dolencia en el pueblo.
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.
The report about him went out into all Syria. They brought to him all who were sick, afflicted with various diseases and torments, possessed with demons, epileptics, and paralytics; and he healed them.
Una gran multitud lo siguió desde Galilea y Decápolis, desde Jerusalén y Judea, y desde más allá del Jordán.
Y le siguieron muchas gentes de Galilea y de Decápolis y de Jerusalem y de Judea y de la otra parte del Jordán.
And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.
