Da ward Jesus vom Geist in die Wüste hinaufgeführt, auf daß Er vom Teufel versucht würde.

ENTONCES Jesús fué llevado del Espíritu al desierto, para ser tentado del diablo.

Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

Und da Er vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte gefastet hatte, hungerte Ihn danach.

Und der Versucher kam herzu und sprach zu Ihm: Wenn Du Gottes Sohn bist, so sprich, daß diese Steine sollen Brot werden.

Y llegándose á él el tentador, dijo: Si eres Hijo de Dios, di que estas piedras se hagan pan.

And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

The tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

Er aber antwortete und sprach: Es ist geschrieben: Der Mensch soll nicht allein vom Brote leben, sondern von jeglichem Wort, das durch den Mund Gottes ausgeht.

Mas él respondiendo, dijo: Escrito está: No con solo el pan vivirá el hombre, mas con toda palabra que sale de la boca de Dios.

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Da nimmt Ihn der Teufel mit sich in die heilige Stadt und stellt Ihn auf die Zinne des Tempels,

Entonces el diablo le pasa á la santa ciudad, y le pone sobre las almenas del templo,

Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

Und spricht zu Ihm: Wenn Du Gottes Sohn bist, so wirf Dich hinab; denn es ist geschrieben, daß Er Seinen Engeln gebieten wird ob Dir, und sie sollen Dich auf den Händen tragen, auf daß Du Deinen Fuß nicht an einen Stein stoßest.

Y le dice: Si eres Hijo de Dios, échate abajo; que escrito está: A sus ángeles mandará por ti, y te alzarán en las manos, para que nunca tropieces con tu pie en piedra.

And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, ‘He will command his angels concerning you,’ and, ‘On their hands they will bear you up, so that you don’t dash your foot against a stone.’”

Sprach zu ihm Jesus: Wiederum ist geschrieben: du sollst den Herrn, deinen Gott, nicht versuchen.

Jesús le dijo: Escrito está además: No tentarás al Señor tu Dios.

Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Jesus said to him, “Again, it is written, ‘You shall not test the Lord, your God.’”

Wiederum nimmt Ihn der Teufel mit sich auf einen ungemein hohen Berg und zeigt Ihm alle Reiche der Welt und ihre Herrlichkeit,

Otra vez le pasa el diablo á un monte muy alto, y le muestra todos los reinos del mundo, y su gloria,

Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

Again, the devil took him to an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.

Und spricht zu Ihm: Dies alles will ich Dir geben, wenn Du niederfällst und mich anbetest.

Y dícele: Todo esto te daré, si postrado me adorares.

And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

He said to him, “I will give you all of these things, if you will fall down and worship me.”

Da spricht zu ihm Jesus: Geh' hinweg hinter Mich, Satan, denn es ist geschrieben: Du sollst den Herrn, deinen Gott, anbeten und Ihm allein dienen.

Entonces Jesús le dice: Vete, Satanás, que escrito está: Al Señor tu Dios adorarás y á él solo servirás.

Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Then Jesus said to him, “Get behind me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.’”

Da verläßt Ihn der Teufel, und siehe, Engel kamen herzu und bedienten Ihn.

El diablo entonces le dejó: y he aquí los ángeles llegaron y le servían.

Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and served him.

Als Er aber hörte, daß Johannes überantwortet ward, zog Er hin nach Galiläa.

Mas oyendo Jesús que Juan era preso, se volvió á Galilea;

Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;

Now when Jesus heard that John was delivered up, he withdrew into Galilee.

Und Er verließ Nazareth, kam und wohnte in Kapernaum, das am Meere ist, in den Grenzen Sebulons und Nephthalims.

Y dejando á Nazaret, vino y habitó en Capernaum, ciudad marítima, en los confines de Zabulón y de Nephtalim:

And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:

Auf daß erfüllt würde, was gesagt wird durch den Propheten Jesajas, der da spricht:

Para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por el profeta Isaías, que dijo:

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying,

Das Land Sebulon und das Land Nephthalim am Wege des Meeres jenseits des Jordan und Galiläa der Völkerschaften.

La tierra de Zabulón, y la tierra de Nephtalim, camino de la mar, de la otra parte del Jordán, Galilea de los Gentiles;

The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;

“The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, toward the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles,

Das Volk, das im Finstern saß, hat ein großes Licht gesehen, und denen, die in der Landschaft und dem Schatten des Todes saßen, ist ein Licht aufgegangen.

El pueblo asentado en tinieblas, vió gran luz; y á los sentados en región y sombra de muerte, luz les esclareció.

The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

Von da an fing Jesus an zu predigen und zu sprechen: Tut Buße, denn das Reich der Himmel hat sich genaht.

Desde entonces comenzó Jesús á predicar, y á decir: Arrepentíos, que el reino de los cielos se ha acercado.

Y andando Jesús junto á la mar de Galilea, vió á dos hermanos, Simón, que es llamado Pedro, y Andrés su hermano, que echaban la red en la mar; porque eran pescadores.

And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

Und Er spricht zu ihnen: Kommet her, Mir nach, und Ich will euch zu Menschenfischern machen.

And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Sie aber verließen alsbald die Netze und folgten Ihm nach.

Und Er ging von dannen weiter und sah zwei andere Brüder, Jakobus, den des Zebedäus, und Johannes, seinen Bruder, in dem Fahrzeug mit Zebedäus, ihrem Vater, wie sie ihre Netze zurichteten, und Er rief sie.

Y pasando de allí vió otros dos hermanos, Jacobo, hijo de Zebedeo, y Juan su hermano, en el barco con Zebedeo, su padre, que remendaban sus redes; y los llamó.

And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.

Sie aber verließen alsbald das Fahrzeug und ihren Vater und folgten Ihm nach.

Und Jesus zog umher in ganz Galiläa, lehrte in ihren Synagogen und predigte das Evangelium von dem Reiche und heilte alle Krankheit und alles Siechtum im Volke.

Y rodeó Jesús toda Galilea, enseñando en las sinagogas de ellos, y predicando el evangelio del reino, y sanando toda enfermedad y toda dolencia en el pueblo.

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Und Sein Gerücht ging hin in ganz Syrien, und sie brachten Ihm alle Leidende, die mit mancherlei Krankheiten und Qualen behaftet waren, und Besessene und Mondsüchtige und Gichtbrüchige, und Er heilte sie.

Y corría su fama por toda la Siria; y le trajeron todos los que tenían mal: los tomados de diversas enfermedades y tormentos, y los endemoniados, y lunáticos, y paralíticos, y los sanó.

And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

The report about him went out into all Syria. They brought to him all who were sick, afflicted with various diseases and torments, possessed with demons, epileptics, and paralytics; and he healed them.

Und es folge Ihm nach viel Volks von Galiläa und den zehn Städten, und von Jerusalem und von Judäa, und von jenseits des Jordan.

Y le siguieron muchas gentes de Galilea y de Decápolis y de Jerusalem y de Judea y de la otra parte del Jordán.

And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.

Great multitudes from Galilee, Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and from beyond the Jordan followed him.
