rejoice ye and be glad, because your reward †is great in the heavens, for thus did they persecute the prophets who were before you.

Gozaos y alegraos; porque vuestra merced es grande en los cielos: que así persiguieron á los profetas que fueron antes de vosotros.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
