Felizes sois vós quando as pessoas vos ofenderem e vos perseguirem, ou disserem todo tipo de maldades e falsidades contra vós por serdes meus seguidores.
Bienaventurados sois cuando os vituperaren y os persiguieren, y dijeren de vosotros todo mal por mi causa, mintiendo.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Regozijai-vos e alegrai-vos, pois grande é a vossa recompensa no céu. Pois dessa maneira as pessoas perseguiram os profetas que viveram antes de vós.
Gozaos y alegraos; porque vuestra merced es grande en los cielos: que así persiguieron á los profetas que fueron antes de vosotros.
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Vós sois o sal da terra, mas se o sal perder o seu sabor, como poderá ser usado outra vez? Jamais será útil para alguma coisa, exceto para ser jogado fora e ser pisado pelas pessoas.
Vosotros sois la sal de la tierra: y si la sal se desvaneciere ¿con qué será salada? no vale más para nada, sino para ser echada fuera y hollada de los hombres.
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
“You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men.
Vós sois a luz do mundo. Uma cidade edificada sobre a colina não pode ficar escondida.

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Ni se enciende una lámpara y se pone debajo de un almud, mas sobre el candelero, y alumbra á todos los que están en casa.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Neither do you light a lamp and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house.
Que a vossa luz brilhe diante das pessoas de tal forma que elas vejam as vossas boas obras e louvem ao vosso Pai que está no céu.
Así alumbre vuestra luz delante de los hombres, para que vean vuestras obras buenas, y glorifiquen á vuestro Padre que está en los cielos.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Não penseis que Eu vim para destruir a Lei ou os profetas; não vim para destruí-los, mas para cumpri-los.

Por isso, verdadeiramente, Eu vos digo que, até que os céus e a terra passem, nem um ponto ou til irá, de alguma forma, ser mudado na Lei, até que todas as coisas sejam cumpridas.
Porque de cierto os digo, que hasta que perezca el cielo y la tierra, ni una jota ni un tilde perecerá de la ley, hasta que todas las cosas sean hechas.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
For most certainly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the law, until all things are accomplished.
Portanto qualquer um que quebrar o menor desses mandamentos e ensinar os outros a fazer o mesmo será chamado menor no Reino dos Céus. Mas qualquer um que guardar estes mandamentos e os ensinar será chamado grande no Reino dos Céus.
De manera que cualquiera que infringiere uno de estos mandamientos muy pequeños, y así enseñare á los hombres, muy pequeño será llamado en el reino de los cielos: mas cualquiera que hiciere y enseñare, éste será llamado grande en el reino de los cielos.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Therefore, whoever shall break one of these least commandments and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Por isso Eu vos digo que, se a vossa justiça não exceder a justiça dos escribas e fariseus, de forma alguma entrareis no Reino dos Céus.
Porque os digo, que si vuestra justicia no fuere mayor que la de los escribas y de los Fariseos, no entraréis en el reino de los cielos.
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, there is no way you will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Ouvistes o que foi dito nos tempos antigos: 'Não matarás', e 'Qualquer um que matar estará sujeito a julgamento.'
Oísteis que fué dicho á los antiguos: No matarás; mas cualquiera que matare, será culpado del juicio.
Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
“You have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, ‘You shall not murder;’ and ‘Whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’
Mas Eu vos digo que qualquer um que se irar contra seu irmão estará sujeito a julgamento; e qualquer que disser para seu irmão: 'Tu és um idiota!' estará sujeito a ser julgado no tribunal; e qualquer que disser: 'Seu tolo!' estará sujeito ao fogo do inferno.
Mas yo os digo, que cualquiera que se enojare locamente con su hermano, será culpado del juicio; y cualquiera que dijere á su hermano, Raca, será culpado del concejo; y cualquiera que dijere, Fatuo, será culpado del infierno del fuego.
But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
But I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgment. Whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ will be in danger of the council. Whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna.
Portanto se estiveres levando a tua oferta para o altar e ali te lembrares que o teu irmão tem algo contra ti,
Por tanto, si trajeres tu presente al altar, y allí te acordares de que tu hermano tiene algo contra ti,
Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
“If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you,
deixa a tua oferta lá, na frente do altar, e vai primeiro reconciliar-te com o teu irmão, e depois volta e apresenta a tua oferta.
Deja allí tu presente delante del altar, y vete, vuelve primero en amistad con tu hermano, y entonces ven y ofrece tu presente.
Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
Entra em acordo com o teu acusador rapidamente, enquanto estás com ele no caminho para o tribunal, para que o teu acusador não te entregue ao juiz, e o juiz te entregue aos oficiais, e sejas lançado na prisão.
Concíliate con tu adversario presto, entre tanto que estás con él en el camino; porque no acontezca que el adversario te entregue al juez, y el juez te entregue al alguacil, y seas echado en prisión.
Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
Agree with your adversary quickly while you are with him on the way; lest perhaps the prosecutor deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison.
Verdadeiramente eu te digo: não sairás dali até que pagues o último centavo.
De cierto te digo, que no saldrás de allí, hasta que pagues el último cuadrante.
Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
Most certainly I tell you, you shall by no means get out of there until you have paid the last penny.

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery;’
Mas Eu vos digo que qualquer um que olhar para uma mulher com intenção impura já cometeu adultério com ela em seu coração.
Mas yo os digo, que cualquiera que mira á una mujer para codiciarla, ya adulteró con ella en su corazón.
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.
E, se o teu olho direito te leva a pecar, tira-o e joga-o fora, porque é melhor uma parte do teu corpo perecer do que todo o teu corpo ser lançado no inferno.
Por tanto, si tu ojo derecho te fuere ocasión de caer, sácalo, y échalo de ti: que mejor te es que se pierda uno de tus miembros, que no que todo tu cuerpo sea echado al infierno.
And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna.
E, se a tua mão direita te leva a pecar, corta-a e joga-a fora, pois é melhor uma das partes do teu corpo perecer do que todo o teu corpo ser lançado no inferno.
Y si tu mano derecha te fuere ocasión de caer, córtala, y échala de ti: que mejor te es que se pierda uno de tus miembros, que no que todo tu cuerpo sea echado al infierno.
And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
If your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna.
Também foi dito: 'Qualquer um que mandar embora a sua esposa dê a ela uma carta de divórcio.'
También fué dicho: Cualquiera que repudiare á su mujer, déle carta de divorcio:
It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:
“It was also said, ‘Whoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorce,’
Mas Eu vos digo que todo aquele que se divorciar de sua esposa, exceto por causa de imoralidade sexual, faz dela uma adúltera; e qualquer um que casar com ela, depois que ela se divorciou, comete adultério.
Mas yo os digo, que el que repudiare á su mujer, fuera de causa de fornicación, hace que ella adultere; y el que se casare con la repudiada, comete adulterio.
But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
but I tell you that whoever puts away his wife, except for the cause of sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries her when she is put away commits adultery.
Também ouvistes o que foi dito para aqueles nos tempos antigos: 'Não jureis falsamente, mas cumpri os vossos juramentos ao Senhor.'
Además habéis oído que fué dicho á los antiguos: No te perjurarás; mas pagarás al Señor tus juramentos.
Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
“Again you have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, ‘You shall not make false vows, but shall perform to the Lord your vows,’
Mas Eu vos digo que não jureis por nada: nem pelo céu, pois é o trono de Deus;
Mas yo os digo: No juréis en ninguna manera: ni por el cielo, porque es el trono de Dios;
But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne:
but I tell you, don’t swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God;
nem pela terra, pois é o firmamento dos Seus pés; nem por Jerusalém, pois é a cidade do Grande Rei.
Ni por la tierra, porque es el estrado de sus pies; ni por Jerusalem, porque es la ciudad del gran Rey.
Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.

Nem jures pela tua cabeça, pois não podes tornar um fio de cabelo preto ou branco.
Ni por tu cabeza jurarás, porque no puedes hacer un cabello blanco ó negro.
Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
Neither shall you swear by your head, for you can’t make one hair white or black.
Mas que a tua palavra seja: 'Sim, sim,' ou 'Não, não.' Qualquer coisa a mais do que isso vem do maligno.
Mas sea vuestro hablar: Sí, sí; No, no; porque lo que es más de esto, de mal procede.
But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.
Ouvistes o que vos disseram: 'Olho por olho e dente por dente.'
Oísteis que fué dicho á los antiguos: Ojo por ojo, y diente por diente.
Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
“You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’
Entretanto Eu vos digo: não resistais a quem é mau; pelo contrário, a qualquer um que der um tapa no lado direito da tua face, oferece a ele o outro lado também.
Mas yo os digo: No resistáis al mal; antes á cualquiera que te hiriere en tu mejilla diestra, vuélvele también la otra;
But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
But I tell you, don’t resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.
E, se alguém quiser te levar ao tribunal e tomar a tua túnica, deixa essa pessoa tomar também a tua capa.
Y al que quisiere ponerte á pleito y tomarte tu ropa, déjale también la capa;
And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.
If anyone sues you to take away your coat, let him have your cloak also.
E, se alguém te obrigar a caminhar uma milha, vai com ele duas.
Y á cualquiera que te cargare por una milla, ve con él dos.
And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
Whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.
Dá a qualquer um que te pedir, e não vires as tuas costas para qualquer pessoa que deseja te pedir algo emprestado.
Al que te pidiere, dale; y al que quisiere tomar de ti prestado, no se lo rehuses.
Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
Give to him who asks you, and don’t turn away him who desires to borrow from you.
Ouvistes o que foi dito: 'Ama o teu próximo e odeia o teu inimigo'.
Oísteis que fué dicho: Amarás á tu prójimo, y aborrecerás á tu enemigo.
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’
Contudo Eu vos digo: amai os vossos inimigos e orai por aqueles que vos perseguem,
Mas yo os digo: Amad á vuestros enemigos, bendecid á los que os maldicen, haced bien á los que os aborrecen, y orad por los que os ultrajan y os persiguen;
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,
para que sejais filhos do vosso Pai que está nos céus, pois Ele faz o Seu sol nascer sobre os maus e os bons e manda chuva para os justos e os injustos.
Para que seáis hijos de vuestro Padre que está en los cielos: que hace que su sol salga sobre malos y buenos, y llueve sobre justos é injustos.
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Porque, se amardes apenas aqueles que vos amam, que recompensa ganhareis? Não é verdade que até os cobradores de impostos fazem a mesma coisa?
Porque si amareis á los que os aman, ¿qué recompensa tendréis? ¿no hacen también lo mismo los publicanos?
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same?
E, se saudardes apenas os vossos irmãos, o que fazeis a mais do que os outros? Não é verdade que até os gentios fazem a mesma coisa?
Y si abrazareis á vuestros hermanos solamente, ¿qué hacéis de más? ¿no hacen también así los Gentiles?
And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
If you only greet your friends, what more do you do than others? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same?
Portanto sede perfeitos, como é perfeito o vosso Pai celestial.
Sed, pues, vosotros perfectos, como vuestro Padre que está en los cielos es perfecto.
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
