Wenn du aber tust Wohltaten (Almosen gibst), lass nicht deine Linke wissen, was deine rechte tut,

Mas cuando tú haces limosna, no sepa tu izquierda lo que hace tu derecha;

But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

But when you do merciful deeds, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand does,
