E, quando orardes, não façais repetições inúteis, como fazem os gentios; pois eles pensam que serão ouvidos por causa de suas muitas palavras.

Y orando, no seáis prolijos, como los Gentiles; que piensan que por su parlería serán oídos.

But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
