Jeder nun, der hört meine {diese} Worte und tut sie (so), wird ähnlich (gleichartig) gemacht einem klugen (verständigen) Mann, {einem} der sich ein Haus auf dem Felsen (Felsengrund) baut;

Cualquiera, pues, que me oye estas palabras, y las hace, le compararé á un hombre prudente, que edificó su casa sobre la peña;

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

“Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.
